National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at Highland Village
This is an absolutely amazing place to live. All of the property is well kept. Maintenance is very responsive and management is always accessible. The residents are friendly, welcoming, and quiet. I would highly recommend Highland Village as a place to live in Pittsburgh.
We love our quiet, connected neighborhood and the staff at Highland Village.
We have only lived here a month and love how home-y it already feels. I think there’s more dogs here than people, which was a plus for us! The walkability of the neighborhood is excellent, and everyone is so friendly. Love the amenities of the clubhouse—it’s so nice to take a short walk to the pool, knowing you’re not too far from home!
I love our new home! It’s a safe, great community for children - 2 minutes from the elementary school. Great commute time to the city. Very quiet at night and well lit. Nice updated kitchen and love the washer/dryer upstairs - the garage is a “single car” but is so long I still have plenty of storage. I can’t say enough great things!
We have loved living here so far! Amenities are amazing and the other residents are very welcoming and kind. The community is very dog friendly and cleans up after them properly. Judy is also wonderful and was very helpful during our move in process. Love it here and so happy we found this place!
Highland Village is a great place to live. Great townhouses, very dog friendly community and Judy is amazing! I highly recommend!
After owning a lovely home in the city for almost 50 years, I never thought a rental unit could ever satisfactorily replace that living experience. Highland Village has wildly exceeded my expectations and we truly love living here.
Wonderful, spacious townhomes with a great sense of community. The neighbors are very friendly, and you can't beat the location and quiet neighborhood. It is also a great place for our dog!
We love highland village! The community is friendly and extremely diverse. It is wonderful meeting everyone on our daily walks. The townhome is beautiful inside and is very quiet. If you have to drive into the city, it is a quick hop on the highway. The property manager is super responsive and helpful. Maintenance responds extremely fast.
Very nice place, secure, friendly, prosperous, good maintenance service.
Great place to live. The neighborhood is kept clean and everyone is friendly. Close to the city and has many stores nearby for anything you could possibly need.
