Originally named Howell's Crossing after a cotton merchant named Evan Howell, Duluth was renamed in 1871 after a flowery speech given in Congress by Rep. J. Proctor Knott condemning the expansion of the railroad to Duluth, Minnesota as wasteful. The over-the-top, tongue-in-cheek description of the northern city inspired residents of the Georgia town to rename their community Duluth. Today, Downtown Duluth is a busy, attractive suburb of Atlanta, offering a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment.
Downtown Duluth has a town green, located along Main Street on the southwest side of City Hall. Historic Downtown Duluth features a variety of businesses, theaters, gift stores, art galleries, and cafes. If you're looking for an upscale community that feels like a country resort but is literally only a minute from 85 and just about anything you want to do in the metro area, this is a great community. The staff are friendly and eager to ensure that you're happy and satisfied with your new home. The prices are reasonable considering Atlanta's rental market.

I had left a disgruntled review a couple of weeks ago regarding a couple of major issues I've had at the complex. They have since been handled, and I currently have no more issues. In fact, I'd like to give my compliments to the leasing office for being patient with me! That said, I truly appreciate the fact that this complex tries to keep their residents happy and uphold both the written and unwritten rules of courtesy. And regarding the gate, they put out a notice regarding the last incident involving the gate and have investigated the matter to find the perpetrator. Gate has been functioning as normal ever since! And as stated before, I can't emphasize enough how awesome the maintenance team is with how quickly and efficiently they handle work order. Raheem is always consistent in his efforts and has been extremely helpful and friendly! Anyways, great complex, great staff. No complaints anymore. And everything was lovely once again, wonderful!

This place is an absolute nightmare. There are no noise ordnance rules, in fact since the new management took over its essentially a ghost ship. It is completely impossible to get in contact with anyone in the office as many other reviews said, there are people fighting and screaming in the halls late at night. There are at least 15 people living in the unit next to me throwing parties all day and night, every single night of the week with music so loud it shakes my walls and I cant sleep even with earplugs in. The hallways are filthy, there is trash and strange black liquids pouring down the walls, vandalism, large groups of people in the parking lot at night. My entire unit constantly reeks of marijuana because of large groups of people gathering in the halls, smoking, fighting and yelling at 3 AM. There is no parking unless you reserve a space and people block the handicapped parking so they dont have to pay for a reserved space. The staff sent out a strange email about "increased police presence due to a non-property related incident" whatever that means... Ive lived in several different apartments but have never seen anything like this. Ive attempted to contact managment about the constant loud music at least 20 times. I got one response and they never did anything about it. Still they ignore all emails, I guess they do the same with everyone because it seems nobody can get in contact with them.

I came from a small town with lots of green spaces so I really appreciate the meadow and all of the green space! The ladies in the office have been pleasant to work with and most of all I LOVED the event that we had this month where I got to meet my neighbors. :) This is home away from home and I couldn't be happier!

Nice apartment and relaxing atmosphere. However, walls and windows are not sound proof AT ALL. I can hear everything my neighbors say and there always seem to be people outside, babies crying etc. not great for a work or study environment. The leasing office has been horrible to deal with even after switching managements. Huge lack of communication. Moving in was brutal, I got a call the day before I moved in saying I needed to change the date. Currently on day 70 of waiting for a gift card that was part of a move in special. Promised within 45 days. When asked about the subject, staff has been rude, dismissive, and uninterested. Place looks great from the outside and has nice amenities but definitely has some issues that need worked out.

The leasing agents working in the leasing office are very unorganized and it takes weeks to get an application approved. I called multiple times a week asking for an update and I kept getting told they were still working on it. When I moved in I was not given important paperwork or access codes to entrance gates. The office staff has not been helpful in getting me what I need in a reasonable amount of time. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
