Highlands at the Lake

I really enjoy how the apartment is situated in a wooded area. Very comforting and clean environment! The office staff are super great folks as well!

My experience with highlands at the lake is great wonderful staff they are are very knowledgeable and friendly, the maintenance is very professional and prompt

I love It here it a really nice place to live. I also like how easy it was for me to move in on move-in date I was appreciative of everyone in the leasing office to help me with my move

My time at Highlands has been peaceful. It’s relatively quiet for the location to the interstate! The lake access at the back of the community is a plus.

It’s a very clean complex. Up keep is great. Very quiet at night for sleeping. Office management is super great. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful.

Smooth transition to living here, love the staff and how well they work with you to get you settled. So welcoming and can’t wait to be down there permanently.

Nice community however quite a few things needed either replacing , adding, or repairs upon move in. I have requested everything as soon as we moved in and staff was able to put work orders in but still waiting on what I consider important items that needs immediate attention. It's too the point I feel like I'm bugging the staff and shouldn't have to feel that way as a new resident

I just moved in and I'm so happy with it! I love being so close to the lake and it's a really great community. I'm excited to keep living here and to get closer with my neighbors!

living here has been great so far. I was originally in a 1 bedroom and I was trying to transfer to a larger unit. The office people made it easy and were very informative .

They treat u great, they care about their residents and take of u, I haven't had problems. Also it nice u can cool down after a hot day. They also work with u and let u have an updated on the repairs and things that are being done

I have lived at the Highlands for almost 2 years. I like the location. I love the pools however I am disappointed in the lack of upkeep and maintenance. My unit personally is very old and rundown, and in my opinion, not worth the rate of rent that is paid. I have put in numerous maintenance request that have frankly just been ignored. There are still things that I mentioned at the time that still not been addressed. I will continue to reside at the Highlands for at least another year probably. I would prefer one of the new units for the amount that is paid.

Just moved in and the kids love it! The moving process was stressful as always. The kids made it worth it. The office staff was so friendly and helpful.

Everything I ask for gets done and a timely manner. I love it very clean most of the time . Very quiet . Clean gym all the time and clean pool

Absolutely love it glad I chose highlands for my home. Most definitely would recommend when anybody ask me where I live… I’ve stayed in hermitage several years and this had by far been the best experience I’ve had since coming to hermitage literally

The community is overall wonderful. Only thing from giving this place a 5 star expierence is the rowdy neighbors and the trash disposal overflowing once every month. Overall still one of the best apartment complexes for the rates they are offering the apartments at.

Overall experience it has been great but have had a few pest control issues. The spiders aren’t good. But other than that everything is okay and the apartment looks great.

The Highlands is a really nice and quiet place to live! I have no bad experiences and I have lived here for 2 years. There are a few minor things that could be better. Since you cannot grill anywhere other than designated places on the property, it would be nice if there was a picnic table there to put your things on while grilling or to just sit and enjoy the grilling experience. And to make sure the grill at the pool is working and available if you would like to use it. Other than that I would recommend the Highlands to anyone looking for a nice place.

Parking is an issue when I can’t park right in front of my apartment ( I am a contractor) I need to at least see the back of my truck. It just is inconvenient. But I love my apartment. It’s great. Love the people there

Our renovated apartment is beautiful and we’re super excited to get life started here. However the webs in the stairwell are a little unattractive and the other buildings don’t seem to be in the same state as our own which is upsetting. And we had no internet hookup in our apartment which is annoying to get done mid move. Overall we are still very optimistic about our experience here

It’s a good place to live but i think they can do better with the payment options to help keep down late payment fees. The late fee is the only thing I’m not in agreement with.

Still adjusting to the new environment, so far so good I’m still exited with the neighborhood. Calm and peaceful, The building good green and new.

The staff is very pleasant and will to help always with a smile and puts in requests and fixing things in a great time. The staff also keeps us aware of changes and what's going on in the community and if there's an issue does what they need to get it settled. And always willing to be helpful to make our life there more pleasant.

The office staff is amazing and so responsive and quick to solve issues! Anything we've needed attended to or resolved has been so in very efficient manners! We really appreciate everything!

Gotta love highlands at the lake! Thankful for a safe place to stay and for such an easy move in. Clean and responsible staff, good amenities.

The apartment is perfect. Everyone has been very helpful and welcoming. I couldn’t ask for more. 10 out of 10. I would definitely recommend.

Never had any issues that were not quickly resolved. I really enjoy living here. Very much happy with the fireplace during this snowy week. Also hill looked better than the main roads.

Awesome! The staff inside of the front office are amazing, and the apartments are clean, well kept, and anything you need don’t hesitate to ask!

The employees at the leasing office are so nice and always ready to help, and I haven’t had any major issues besides the trash being overfilled

Everyone is very welcoming. The office ladies are helpful and have made moving in a breeze. The apartment complex is in a convenient part of town as well.

Good Note: It is relatively a nice community. Everyone going about their day and business without to much noise. Every now and then a neighbor will speak to you. I truly wish the trash situation was better. No one really likes coming home to see trash everywhere. I believe the staff try to keep it up as best they can. It must be awful to have to clean this up when it piles up like that. I wish the residents were more conscientious when leaving the trash there. We all have to live there but I know there are people coming in from other areas dropping their garbage as well, and they don't care how it looks.

I wish I didn’t have to hear every step my neighbor takes upstairs. In the middle of the night it shakes the whole apartment. The lawn people needs to stop blowing the leave in the back of my porch. I literally have leaves all over my porch

This place truly feels like home. With beautiful nature, quiet areas and close to a lot of things. This was a great choice for me and my family.

It’s well kept. Handicap accessible Good maintenance crew The apartment office and all that work there are terrific and extremely helpful . I do like the way this complex gets all of us to seek a new resident with large money offers~

The community is overall pleasant. The staff is friendly and approachable. It is a safe place for my kids to play and enjoy. The amenities such as the swimming pool and fitness facility is nice.

I really enjoy living here! There are some obstacles that have arose but the office is diligent about communication and I really appreciate that!

My experience has been wonderful, the staff is super amazing always willing to help me in any way. I’m new to the complex my first experience with the staff was amazing. The property is very well maintained.

Good place to live. The trash gets out of hand but they handle it quickly. There is always something crazy going on in the back but it’s never a dull moment.

Very great place to stay and enjoy, very affordable, good community and neighbor, they have good maintenance service, they come and fix thing on time.

It started off ruff but I love it here. Almost everything I needed fixed had been fixed minus a few minor things. But other than that I love my new apartment

Community staff have been amazing and communicative. We are still waiting for some initial move in maintenance things to be resolved but things take time. Community is clean, quiet and safe.

Love the apartment and the office staff has always been helpful. We love being by the lake and having trailheads within the vicinity to walk.

All together the experience has been great! Except for the bugs. The bugs in the spring and summer time are are crazy when it gets hot outside.

Friendly staff and very helpful They made the move in process easy to handle They are most accommodating with less than good credit which is what we needed.

I recently relocated to the Nashville, TN area. From my apartment search, tour, signing the lease and move in, the staff at the Highlands at the Lake were very welcoming and helpful. Kiersten and Clysta made this stressful time of having to find an apartment fairly quickly in a new state, new rules and regulations on leases in a new state and a new neighborhood a stress free experience. They both were helpful, collaborative and took great care in ensuring that the lease signing process and my move in was stress free, exciting and successful.

I’ve loved living here. Conveniently located between multiple shopping areas. The people in the office are great and maintenance is always on top of it.
