First off, the entire staff is passive aggressive and rude at time. They are dismissive of your issues and will be of no help at any time. They are not worth the trouble and you can find better homes for cheaper in the same area

Toured this property while in Austin and was very surprised at how clean the grounds were. Especially since I visited shortly after the ice storm. Rylee was awesome and Angel was very helpful. The staff was not pushy at all and really helped me with typical first time renter questions. I appreciate that they don't have unnecessary mandatory fees like cable or gym and clubhouse fees.
The property is always clean and well maintained, and I am always greeted with kindness by the staff.
I lived here for 7 years and it was a great 7 years! My views were out of this world. I actually know of a few couples that met at the pool and got married! Me being one of them. If I ever had to move to an apartment again, id go back in a heartbeat. I felt safe, my car was never dinged or broken into. I walked in the parking lot by myself at night and felt safe. The pool was a blast, if you didnt have plans on a Friday after work, just head to the pool and make new friends. The nearby HEB is great, i miss it! Great shopping close by too! Only real con is if you come home late be prepared to walk far to your apartment. There is a shortage of parking if you dont buy a spot.
Absolute worst apartment complex I've ever lived at. Do not waste your money!! The staff are unbelievably rude (they act as though it is a major inconvenience if you even want to pick up a package), the management nickel and dimes their residents for everything, things are constantly out of order, and the apartment complex is unsafe--the gates that you PAY for do not work and they have even have incidents lately of apartments and cars being broken into as well as a peeping tom. On top of all of this there is a major bug problem. Not only did our apartment have a terrible roach problem from the first day we moved in, many of our neighbors experienced the same problem. The apartments are super cheap inside as well--the laminate peels and things fall apart very easily. Definitely not worth the high price of living, especially to be that far south of downtown. There are much better deals closer to downtown. This is the only apartment complex I've ever had an issue with and I regret giving them any of my money.
These apartments are located The Shops on Brodie Lane and Mopac expy. The community is very quiet and secure. Maintenance is timely and professional. Any small concerns were handled next day. Apartments are generally clean and kept up. Staff is friendly.
After a horrible experience in my last apartment community, I lost hope for a genuinely nice experience living in an apartment. After living here for about half a year, I am thrilled to call the Highlands my home! The community is filled with great sweet neighbors and a wonderfully caring staff. The view out of my apartment is a beautiful skyline of trees that takes my breath away every morning when I wake up! The only time I ever had an issue with my unit, the staff was in my apartment tending to my needs within the hour! That's just not even heard of!!! They have nice amenities and keep the whole area really REALLY clean and welcoming. The water pressure is sooooo good too, I find myself showering way longer than I used to! There has never been any pest issues or ac problems either. One perk is that whenever I want some relaxing time I can hang out in the hot tub or chill in the game room. I always feel safe here and can't believe the extent of the quality of life they can offer you! There are also lots of community events that are held like wine tastings and pool parties and things of this sort. I highly recommend this wonderful community and wish I would have found it sooner!
My apartment lay out is spacious and has an urban style to it. It's also located in south Austin near some of the best restaurants, trails and social venues. The pools are well kept and the office staff is very friendly and helpful.
Nicely remodeled, no parking issues, reasonable rates, nice office staff, great location convenient to all needs. Couldn't ask for more.
I love living here because it has everything I need. If I have a problem in my apartment they fix it within two or three hours. They have plenty of eye candy for me. It's very affordable and clean.
I have lived here for 6 years now. I call it my tree house. 3rd floor nestled in the greenbelt. I live my garden tub , my kitchen island, my wrap around windows with beautiful views. Everyone here is so nice, in fact I have made some of the very best friendships at the pool. If you have issues they are addressed immediately, office staff very professional, maintenance too.
The Highlands Hill Country is a nice complex located in South Austin. It is located near the intersection of Loop 1 (aka Mopac) and and Highway 71, and is also close to Interstate 35 so it's easy to get around the city from the apartment. The complex itself is very well kept and the maintenance team does a top notch job of keeping the grounds. The complex has 2 pools, one by the leasing office and one towards the back of the complex, as well as a hot tub at the front pool. There is also a free to use gym for renters of the complex, and there is also a laundry room that has 4 washers and 4 dryers. There's even an event room you can book to throw a party, which has a pool table in it for billiards. Personally I have been at this complex for almost 5 years straight and have no complaints. Anytime an appliance breaks down you can notify the maintenance team and depending on the time of day, it will either be fixed that day or the following morning. If you're looking for a beautiful apartment complex with a very welcoming leasing office staff and what I'd call an A-Team maintenance crew, this is the place to look!
