Property Ratings at Highline Lofts
The place is very, very, poorly maintained. The water is shut off frequently and from reading other reviews it seems like it's been happening for years. Apparently they were Skyline before? Obviously had to rebrand, wonder why. Today the water was shut off at 9 am and was turned on at 4:30 pm. There was a 10 minute text notification. This happens often. The grounds have garbage and dog poop at all times. The maintenance people are good at what they do, the leasing agent is great. Those are the only pros. It's loud at night, can hear the neighbors, LOTS of kids, roaches all over the apartment. I clean and set out traps and don't leave out food. Still lots of roaches. The layout is motel style and so people hangout on the walkways. I used the elevator once and never again because it smelled disgusting. There are nicer places nearby with better reviews and a similar price range. Unless you're someone who loves to litter and have disregard for those around you, this isnt the place to live. The water shut off is enough to rule this place out all together. Really, please please do NOT move here. I can't wait to leave.
The only good thing about this place is the maintenance guys. They are awesome and do a great good. The rest is chaos. There’s roaches here and loud noises after 10pm. Kids running around at anytime of the hours. They throw the trash on the corner of the stairs instead of going to the garbage disposal. The wall are thin so you can hear your neighbors conversation. The leasing office always changing management and I wonder why. I don’t recommend this place.
New staff is great. I have been here going on 9 years and have not had any major problems.
I’ve lived in this until for almost 2 years and I still have NO DRAWERS. People steal from the laundry room and the cockroaches are out of control. It took a month to get a space heater after my heater went out and still no one has come to look at it. The pool they supposedly have has been about a total of 2 weeks in the past two years. Management has lied to my face about issues being resolved. Save your money for a place that isn’t a cesspool

i currently live here, and it’s been pretty difficult. the property is just disgusting. bugs, dog poop, trash is EVERYWHERE. the pool has been closed all summer and we have to speculate why because none of the tenants were told… the water gets shut off quite a bit which is also inconvenient. tenants are loud all hours of the night and kids are screaming outside all day. not the worst thing in the world but it’s definitely not quiet here. i just wish there wasn’t constantly trash everywhere and the tenants picked up after themselves. the property managers are fairly nice but i think could be better with communication; i. e. why the pool is closed. i probably won’t live here again but it’s definitely not the worst. the apartments themselves are cute.

Roaches rule and maintenance is none existent even before covid. Water in the shower fluctuates between south pole temps to hell temps several times during a shower. They spent too much money on the outside decorations which now are useless and non functional. Don't move here it's not worth what they charge.

Very good location, we rented several apartments at this community for a work project. The staff was always helpful and dealt with maintenance requests right away! We will definitely rent here again in the future!

Management/landlord is a joke. I've put in FOUR maintenance orders and half of that was all in a span of a month for a broken heater (it'e been 3 months now; I might as well live in an igloo) an ill-fitting door that doesn't even fit in the door frame that has a draft from top to bottom, making RESIDENTS pay for PARKING, pest control comes in —unwarranted I might add—and now I have a fee for something I didn't ask for etc. What's been done about my maintenance orders? Nothing, still freezing. Parking? Get towed! Hidden/Unwarranted Fees? You bet! Did I mention this place is a joke?
We have had problems with this place since our first week. It has cockroachs, the A/C was out most of the summer and they have lied to our face multiple times. The pool is supposed to be open year round but they keep the gate locked and wont let any one in. They have also been closing an hour earlier than they are supposed to. Management takes nothing seriously. Moving here has been one of the worst decisions of my life. Its like renting from the devil.
Skyline View is NOT a good place to live. Check out the reviews on other sites. There are roaches here that they never get rid of. Utilities are outrageous. They charge around $200 when other places charge $45-$75. Also, the grounds are not kept up- pool is always closed (didn't open until July anyway), elevators broken, and the air conditioning is out for most of the building. Management does nothing no matter who is in charge. Please, do not rent here.
My Experience here at Skyline View has been Great...Quiet, Polite, Beautiful Mountain Views....
I have been here a short time and can't Waite to end my lease. Do not believe anything the staff tells you. Make sure any promises they give you have in writing. Also it is not crime free the cops are here almost every day. Swat kicking in doors and vehicle theft. There is even a guy who was chasing another guy with butcher knives in the court yard and they are still here. The elevators don't work, they say they are fixing them when you move in just to find out they have been broken for three years and still are not fixed. The heating and cooling would be better if you lit a cigarette in the winter for warmth and had someone blow threw a straw on you for cool air. It has been 85-90 degrees inside every day. When you try to contact owners there is no way to reach them. The staff refuses to give you their info. If you think I'm playing look at police calls to this address.

It's disappointing to receive this negative portrayal of our community. Though crime can occur anywhere, our community does have policies in place to keep residents at-ease; if you notice anyone violating our policies, please don't hesitate to contact our office or the authorities. We're aware of the air conditioning problem and though we understand how frustrating this must be, we want you to know that we are working diligently to resolve this problem. We'd be happy to meet with you to chat about ways to improve your experience - please call our office to set up a time to meet.
I have now lived here for 2 years and have enjoyed it. Sure there are people you may not like or the ones who like to gossip. But those are the people to avoid. Lucky for us there are not that many ( At least of what I know ) There are children growing and are familiar with a lot of people. Wonderful to watch. Staff is Great. Jennifer is a very sweet lady. Then we can't forget Ashley who gets a good amount of attitude from residents but she still smiles and kicks butt to do what she can. There are a lot of tenant based activities for young and old and they are great. Contests, games, parties at different times keeps everyone joining together. I love it here and am ready for my next year lease Patti allison
Good office mgnt. Tries to please residents but upper mgnt. to worried about the look of the building rathet than fix the building. Trying to move, rent is going up not really worth the money.been here 3 yrs.good .
Very Nice Staff! Amazing Glenda and Ashley! They are always friendly and helpful even during constructions and upgrades to the place.
Pros: Location! Cherry Creek Schools, one of best districts in the state, with the bus stop in front of the building. Right at the intersection of several major bus routes. Shopping close by. The staff is very friendly. The pool, new gas grills, and fire pit are great. Quiet hours are enforced. Cons: The old building. Original windows, lack of sound insulation, and regular need for repairs.
This is my second year living here at Skyline View Apartments. I love living here because it's a nice area and neighborhood. The Management in very nice and friendly. They are helpful and attentive to your needs. They care about your comfort as well. The property is kept clean and in order...When there's no work or construction going on. The atmosphere is very family oriented as management try to keep the tenants involved in holiday parties and togetherness, with games, music, amenities and such. It's a very warm and happy community to live in, conveniently near restaurants, stores, shopping malls and banks.
I have lived at Skyline awhile now. The grounds are kept up nicely in spite of the disrespectful residence that do not know what a trash container is. The staff keeps up the grounds as well as can be expected. The Management is very friendly and and offers help whenever needed. The complex flooded badly during the bad rain storms. Management offered her help including washing loads of wet towels for people. The elevators were up and running very soon after. The manager had a lot to to tend to during that time, from finding places for people to temporarily stay, to making sure the apartments that needed work were taken care of as fast as possible. This was all handled with professionalism. The maintenance at these apartments are fast to respond whenever something needs a fix. The prices here are reasonable and the apartment size is great. I would recommend these apartments, Its a good deal.
