I have found TEN to FIFTEEN roaches inside my apartment within the last TWO MONTHS!!! DO NOT RENT HERE THAT ISNT THE ONLY ISSUE WITH THESE TERRIBLE APARTMENTS. WOULD DO ZERO STARS IF I COULD. I have had to spray they inside of my unit multiple times and nothing has helped I keep my place very clean and that doesn’t matter.

TLDR; 1. roaches 2. office lies 3. roaches 4. every unit needs new windows 5. Garage sucks Roaches. always. I've been in two units here. both units I was lied to about what was actually in the unit, either appliances or countertops. brought it up with the office, and they did nothing and told me to pound sand. windows need to be replaced, half of them you can't see out of since they're so old. double pane windows don't block any noise or heat anymore. also, roaches. walk around in the courtyard at night, they're everywhere. I usually find multiple a week in my unit. sometimes two in the same day. the garage is just sketchy. especially at night. the only good things are the restaurants that are walking distance.

Each apartment in our community is treated by the pest control contractor regularly. The contractor treats additional units where insects have been reported. Please contact our office so we can schedule your home to be treated this week. We will also inspect the adjacent units to determine if treatment is needed.
When touring I asked 2 different leasing staff about the internet providers, I work from home and rely heavy on fast reliable internet, I was told my unit had access to AT&T fiber, but after I signed the lease and tried to move my service, AT&T told me that my unit doesn't have fiber connection, and told they were waiting on the apartment to allow them to run it. Also I was told that my unit did NOT have carpet, and they didn't allow me to see the exact unit I was moving into. And on the day I moved in, what did I see? Carpet. Lastly, the carpet has missing patches and there parts of the unit that have these holes that lead to nowhere, its hard to explain but in these holes and missing patches of carpet I have found roaches.

After signing a short term lease, I read the negative reviews and regretted my decision. However, I can honestly say this is the best one bedroom apartment! (I saw many on this side of town) The layout is perfect and I mean perfect (except for there not being a good spot for the trash can) I don’t feel claustrophobic and like I’m stuck in a box. There is so much room and the ceilings are high. My apartment looks just like the picture. There were two minor repairs and they came within 2 days. I am on the back facing East so I hear the freeway, but the sunrise is spectacular. It’s apartment living, and I hear my neighbors, but that is to be expected. They exterminated within days of my being here. I saw some movement and was able to kill them. My place is not crawling with roaches. The halls could be cleaner, but I see the workers out doing things everyday. As far as parking goes, you can pay $60 to get an assigned spot, hope to find an open spot or park in the metro garage for free. It gets crowded on the lower level with people catching the bus to go downtown. I’m definitely getting my exercise and enjoying the experience. It feels very New York. There are so many restaurants close by and the elementary school is rated as one of the best. The bus stops right out front. I’m going to miss it when I leave.

I moved in and noticed so many things were broken! No shower head, leaky washer etc. It was like they didn’t even expect someone was suppose to move in. I wasn’t there a full two weeks and I just started to see roaches. I hadn’t even put any food or anything in my cabinets yet because I like to wipe my cabinets down and line the cabinets with liners. As I went to do so I noticed dead roaches in the cabinets. Thinking that maybe it was just because no one had lived in the unit for awhile I went and bought roach pesticides and cleaned my apartment from top to bottom in bleach. I told the leasing management and she said I would have to wait until the following week for someone to come spray. They never came. The schedule of the pest control was very specific. They didn’t even care that I told them I’m could live in those conditions. No sense of urgency. As much as I clean those two weeks it never helped. I saw a roach crawling on the rail of my brand new bed and that was my breaking point! I had to get out of there. I had to spend the Christmas holiday and New Years in a hotel because I could stand to be in the apartment with roaches! I wrote a very detailed email to the leasing office and they all basically laughed in my face. Like it’s Texas what do u expect. Wtf!!! Offered to spray but I just felt like the issue was just too bad to just spray hoping it will go away. I got out of there! Don’t live here!!! It’s definitely not what it seems on the site. Also the parking is trash! They tell you they have secure parking but it’s just a parking structure at the Metro station that not secure.
I absolutely love living here! The staff is so attentive, and welcoming. This building is safe and feels like home!

Great community in a great location. The front desk especially Alexis is very friendly and helpful. The management conducts lots of fun filled events and activities for the residents. The apartment is well maintained and the maintenance guys are willing to help and fix issues in time. Overall it’s a nice decent place to live. Will definitely recommend.

Not good. Wish I would have moved to one of the hundreds of other complexes near by. Mostly the problems have been the discrepancies with the unorganized staff. Make sure you look at your apartment before you sign your lease cause this one was has a stench of smoke and they have replaced carpet and used unsafe ozone generators. Overall zero stars

First I want to say that when I moved here I was so Happy, felt safe and it was nice clean apartments and everyone seemed so nice, now I want to say that the residence leave their trash all over the halls and stairwells. One of the day's while moving in somebody stole a antique table that we had loaded in elevator. People let their pets use the halls as there restrooms and balconies. I am rethinking my choice when it is time to resign my lease. The security doors are always broken and someone showed me how to get in the doors with out a Key fob.....Not always quiet and I have people walking in and knocking on my door only to realize they got in the locked doors and is looking for someone other than me! I moved her also to get away from a area that was becoming bad quickly and now it seems this is happening here as well, there was a shooting here as well.

Cypress Village has been my home since March of 2012. First of all, I feel safe here. My apartment has never been broken into and I have never had any problems with fellow tenants. The grounds are beautiful as well as the illustrious pool. Tenants are welcome to visit the clubroom for a cup of coffee or use the computers in the Cyber Cafe/Clubroom. Other benefits to living here are the very clean and state-of-the-art gym and shopping area directly across from the complex. The office staff is very accommodating and always attends to our needs. Rent is kept affordable and pet lovers will enjoy the fact that pets are very welcome here at Cypress Village. Although the complex is under some new management and office staff, Ms. Eva Sandoval is still Assistant Community Manager and was the first person I met at Cypress Village when I moved here. She is extremely professional, sweet, and understanding. She is available to help tenants with every aspect of their needs and concerns at the complex. Ms. Monica Morin, Community Manager, could not be sweeter. We are glad to have her as the new Community Manager. Both of these ladies will exceed your expectations when it comes to the management staff at Cypress Village. You will never have a problem with maintenance as they are available and on time to fix any maintenance issues that arise in your apartment.
