Property Ratings at Highpoint Townhomes
The maintenance team has been short staffed and behind on work since I moved in. Maintenance will also not address every issue brought up to them, only waiting until it's an active issue. They very clearly utilize the cheapest means possible to conduct repairs without going about it properly. Every other month roaches appear, only to be temporarily addressed. The cameras around the complex do not effectively covered the paid parking spots, leaving thieves able to securely invade vehicles without concern of video footage. There is always trash littered around the complex, not just around the trash bins. The unit I rented had cabinets that were misaligned and poorly painted. The baseboards are not flush with the floor, save but for a few spots. The fences are in severe disrepair. Administration will state that the price is fair given the prices that other apartments charge - however other apartments actually make an attempt to provide a place that appears to be somewhat worth its value.
Complex still has issue of cars (folks who don't live here) roaming the complex at night (after office is closed) and pretending to park, very suspicious and has been going on for several years, and this concern has been brought up to management several times. Complex needs more lighting and more security cameras. Management also needs to allow tenants to install outside security cameras. Lastly, pool needs more oversight as people from outside complex constantly using, and sometimes used after posted pool hours.
This community seems to be so very relaxing and inviting. It's someplace that I want to invite family and friends over. I'm truly grateful to God for finding this place.

The maintenance problem was taken care of professionally and correctly, however the fuse box was left open and the things in the laundry room were not put back. Also the bed was left pulled out from the wall and my grandson had to put it back in its correct position. These are all thinbe looking for NWQ HINgs that the maintenance person should be doing
I LOOKED AT THE REVIEWS ON THE INTERNET AND THEY DO NOT REFLECT THE EXPERIENCE I PERSONALLY HAD, HOWEVER I HOPE THE MAINTENANCE, AIR CONDITIONING, TRASH AND INSECT ISSUES ARE NOT TRUE.
I don't have any family or friends who need apartments, but I would recommend this community if I did.
In general, I think the maintenance personnel are professional, competent, and work to maintain the property. I’m really happy not to be doing repairs myself anymore.
So far I have met great neighbors and the staff is very friendly.
This place is a joke. If your late once for rent they harass you with eviction notices and mock you if you cannot pay rent. Also if Bernice mentions a promis to pay RUN it’s a joke anyways in the leasing world. It’s probably just something to shut ppl up. They give you a check list when you move in, all to not even fix anything. I am suppose to have a two bathroom but can only use one bathroom due to a clogged tub from when I first got here. It’s all a joke and can’t wait until my lease is up. Let not forget all the good people that hang out outside and guys that harass me while I’m taking my child swimming.

Would love to live here. Townhouse fits all needs and love area so convenient to shopping church and very accessible to 75.
I think toughening tenant standards have made a difference in the quality of folks who live here, but every once in a while, bad apples slip through. Still a nice place to live.
Stacy was super helpful and knowledgeable. She took her time touring me around and she didn't make me feel rushed either. She smiled and answered all my questions and concerns.
Pricing may be a bit high, even with strong demand. This is family community, and families have budgets, even with high incomes. Please resist raising rent so often and raise lower for long term tenants.
I wouldn't recommend this complex though because of the AC situation. The air doesn't work that good at all and makes the electric bill be outrageous. The rent should be reduced to accommodate the air conditioning problems and then the complex would be perfect; with the exception of the pool closing to early for the grown ups.
I've lived at Highpoint Townhomes for 11 years. I like the townhome style floorplan. My neighbors have been here for 19 years and they are very nice people. It's quiet for an apartment and the covered parking has been a real benefit. Rent has gone up some over all these years, but not unreasonably. There have been a few times that I have seen people from the neighboring property jump the fence to use the pool. The maintenance is prompt and the office staff is helpful.
