Spring City is a small borough on the banks of the Schuylkill River, roughly thirty miles northwest of Philadelphia. Perched on the line between the suburbs and the countryside, the community fosters a distinctive small-town atmosphere, with historic buildings lining Main Street and charming homes filling the friendly neighborhood streets. Rental rates tend to be quite affordable, whether you’re looking for a single-family home or a downtown loft condo, making Spring City a popular location for Philly-area commuters seeking a more tranquil home environment.
Living in Spring City puts you just minutes away from two of the region’s biggest attractions: the historic Valley Forge National Historic Park is a beautiful nature preserve filled with monuments to the heroes of the American Revolution, and just a bit farther down the road the King of Prussia Mall offers one of the most opulent shopping experiences in the nation.

Property Ratings at Highview Gardens
I’m going to be honest, this isnt a bad apartment complex. Walls are very thin but not to the point that its an annoyance. I’ve never had an issue with a loud neighbor. There is no pool on the property, you have to purchase a pool tag for the community* pool that’s within walking distance. There is no “in-unit” washer/dryer, it’s located in the basement. Storage units were being offered for free, now the property is taking that away. But we can get a discount at a local storage facility down the road….yay? Parking is a nightmare in the winter when you arent allowed to park on the street during snow emergencies. “Controlled access” and “gates” dont exist. Anyone could walk in from the street, although the surrounding neighborhood is nice.
It is clean and meets all basic needs. They recently switched management and were quick to remodel meaning they rushed and it is not all neatly done. I could deal with all that because the price was great. However, hearing everything that happens next door and downstairs is a deal breaker. There is no padding under the carpet and I am able to hear every conversation and drawer open below me. I feel I can't relax and am conscious of every sound I make as I assume my downstairs neighbors can hear me equally. With all that being said they have a good response time for work orders and the maintenance man is kind and helpful.
Well maintained and well managed. Relatively quiet and reasonably priced.
Very clean and simple. They gave me new carpet, painted the walls, and updated the kitchen and bathroom before I moved it. Sarah was quick with emails and phone calls when I have questions. The community is small and quiet. I've been here for 5 months and have no regrets. Maintenece is great and the guy lives in the apts and is prompt and trustworthy.
Highview Garden Apartments is a good apartment for a young person to start off to live in. There's really nothing much to brag about, the walls are thin and there's a washer and dryer in the apartment complex but I would advice to not use them. Besides those flaws it's a quiet area and any maintenance issuses they get to it really quick.
