Property Ratings at Historic Audubon Court
No heat since before Thanksgiving. They said they fixed it, I smelled an odor and called the Gas Co. They said it was carbon monoxide and turned the gas off completely until a new unit is installed. Have NOT seen or heard from property management since just before Thanksgiving. FED UP!!!
Honestly this place has a lot of character, but it also has a lot of problems. Now I know it’s an old building, but the mouse problem is out of control. We’ve told maintenance about it serveral times and all they did was give us these traps that were only big enough to fit the baby mice. We’ve tried all sorts of things from sticky traps to peppermint oil. Also, another big problem is that a lot of things break. Our blinds have come completely off, our windows never had screens to begin with, and there was a window that was broken and supposed to be fixed before we moved in, that didn’t get fixed until months after. The drains are also very slow to drain and the disposal clogs up frequently. On the bright side, I love the community feel and I honestly feel very safe, but I’d prefer it if most of the things around the house worked properly.
