Hoffman Hills Apartments

I moved in almost a year ago. The previous tenants were smokers, I was not told this. The walls are disgusting and the unit is falling apart. I need new windows as they have no insulation and are cracking. My closet doors are constantly falling apart. I have had people come out twice to fix them. They are still broken. The wall behind my stove had a huge hole in it. All they did was tape it up and paint over it. The ownership is constantly changing which means you are always needing to change how you pay, how you register for parking, and who you contact. It's a constant mess. Police and EMS are always here. I do not recommend living here.

They only offer "self guided tours" that require you to give credit card information. On top of that, we attempted to talk to who we assume is a property manager in the front office, who briskly and half heartedly brushed us off completely. They don't do anything related to the property on site, as we were told in our very brief interaction, everything including leasing is done strictly online. In addition, when we tried to do a tour, the code they sent did not work. That's way to many red flags for me and my wife.

Units were as pictures but as soon as you Stepped out the “ tour room” you smelled nothing but w33d and food condiments. Hallways were small and old

I moved here at the end of October 2020. The entire process was smooth. From the time I applied to when I moved in. I had a lot of questions when I was approved and Cynthia didn’t hesitate to answer every one of them. Once I got closer to my move in date Corrine began assisting. When I first moved in I noticed the shower head was leaking and I didn’t feel the heat was turning on so I called maintenance. Once I hung up from them someone was knocking on my door to resolve the issue. They are renovating and trying to make it look really nice. It’s pretty quiet but every now and again you might here the kids outside playing around. I would highly recommend.

Management is nice and communicates efficiently through the app/portal and email. The maintenance team is super fast and really nice as well! Since I moved in at the end of April 2020, management has replaced all the awnings over our doors and just added lines so that Comcast internet is an option (previously was only at&t). The interiors of the renovated units are really nice-looking and modern. The only issue for me is that the kitchen is REALLY small. Very little counter space and cabinet space. But the appliances are new and the stove is gas, so that’s great. The laundry is a win and a lose all in one...it’s conveniently paid through an app (no quarters!) and reasonably priced, but it’s not in the same building as my apartment! We have about a 30-second walk 2 buildings down to get there which sucks in bad weather. Luckily the app tells you the status of your clothes and if there are washers/dryers open. Haven’t had issues with neighbors; everyone seems nice and no one is too loud. We love the location and would want to stay here if we can but may move out at the end of our lease because we want a larger kitchen and closer laundry. But overall it’s a great apartment complex and we definitely recommend it!

I have lived here for about two years and I can honestly say my experience has been positive. The area is very quiet and has a safe and comfortable feel to it, even walking in the parking lot at night. Everything, stores, schools, activities, etc. are within 10 minutes away. The new website really makes you feel like part of a community. Free online rent payments is a great bonus as well. Parking is pretty decent as well. A little more difficult in the later hours of the night but that's expected anywhere. Definitely better than average. Staff has always been kind to me and have always been friendly and welcoming. I haven't really had any maintenance needed but when I did there was prompt and efficient response. If you're looking for a nice, safe, quiet area with a friendly community, this is it. I'd recommend it to family.

I’m in the process of relocating back to Illinois. I made an appointment with cyndi at autumn Chase Apartments for that Saturday in September. I decided to drive out to Hoffman Estates to look around check out the area and also stop by the Apartments’s. I was glad that I stopped by even though I was a day early and cyndi was off that day. I was treated very well by Corrine. She was very helpful and took the time to make my appointment happen that day. She gave me a tour of the apartment and I was very impressed. I will be relocating after the first of the year and autumn Chase Apartments is my pick. Thank you Corrine for making my experience with autumn Chase Apartments wonderful!

I have lived at Autumn Chase since July 2016 after moving to Illinois from Florida for work. I walked into the Autumn Chase Apartments office to inquire about availability on a one-bedroom apartment. Cyndi and Corrine were both very pleasant and extremely helpful during my inquiry, which lead me fill out an application. Prior to applying here, I did visit a few other locations within 5 miles of this area. At some of these locations, the staff was not as pleasant and attentive as Cyndi and Corrine were at Autumn Chase. They were never rude or made me feel like I was bothering them for asking questions. The service, politeness, professionalism and attention they provided were one of the main reasons I choose this location. I recently changed from a one-bedroom unit to a 2-½-bedroom unit and they made the process very fast and simply. Only on one occasion did I feel to question the staff. My girlfriend called in to inquire about her application and someone was really rude to her. We weren't sure who it was but I don't believe it to be Cyndi or Corrine. The location is awesome by being close to plenty of restaurants and bars, Woodfield Mall, a lot of parks, safe and quite neighborhoods, church and grocery stores. The highways are really close by including toll road I-90. I can’t say enough about how thankful I am to have Cyndi and Corrine assist me during my relocation process to my new home. I had only one maintenance issue since my time here regarding a leak in which I thought was coming from beneath my bathroom sink. I called in the morning and when I got home after work in the afternoon, they replaced the toilet which was the case of the leak. Great place!!!

I have lived here for over a year and have had nothing but a positive experience. The pricing is reasonable. The staff is always friendly and knows me by name when I come in to pay rent or fill up my laundry card. And they always respond promptly to any maintenance concerns. If you have kids there are kids on the property to interact with and the school system is fabulous. My kids argue about who has the best teacher. All in all it has been a great place to call home. I highly recommend Autumn Chase Apartments.

I stayed for more than a year in Autumn Chase apt. My experience living has been excellent. The staff in the leasing office as well as the maintenance is very helpful. Nice apartments with prompt maintenance support. People in leasing office have been friendly as well. Apartment location is great. Near by school and grocery shops. Above all of these excellent features and services, the rent for this community is highly competitive as well. If you are in the market for a new rental apartment, I would definitely suggest you to consider this community as an option to consider.

When I first start looking for an apartment I went on here to find something close by the area from my job.It wasnt a easy thing honestly it was a lot of work and a hard time looking for an apartment. But I looked in a lot of places but when I finally reach out to the property I went to see the place.And as soon as I step into the apartment It felt like home. The prices was reasonable for everything that was included in the rent.I like the realtors that I worked with they were friendly, understanding, and very helpful in my journey in finding an apartment for my daughter and I. The apartments are very clean, nice, and very convenient for every resident. There are places you can go out to eat, shop, swimming pool outside, and you can wash your clothes in or around your apartment. I highly recommend Autumn chase apartments.

Moved in this summer with my fiance', our first place together and the first place either of us had out name signed to. The management is great and wonderful to talk to and our neighbors are courteous, pleasant folks.

Been living in different places in the last 12 years, and autumn Chase is the best place where I ever known to live, this is the 3rd year here and I been have good experience with the people who manages this place, they very nice, always taking care of my needs, I will recommend it

It has been nice living at Autumn Chase, when I first moved in, management replaced my stove twice within a matter of days because it had some issues. I've learned to live without a dishwasher or central air. The wall unit works perfectly. The thing I like most about my place is that when you walk down the hall you can hear everybody through their door and smell what everyone is cooking for dinner, but as soon as I step into my place and shut the door, I have complete silence; no outside smells or sounds! Also, I have not seen one bug in or around my building. They're doing a good job here.

I have lived at the Autumn Chase Apartments for about 6-7 years now. I love that it is a peaceful complex. Everyone mostly keep to themselves but are quick to help with the door when bringing in groceries or laundry :) I have a gazebo in the back with 3 grills. Great for throwing birhtday parties or special Hoilday events! The pool is also fun to have on hot days, has plenty of lawn chairs, and tables w/umbrellas. There are 4 washers and dryers to use downstairs. The Office/Club house workers are very helpful as far as repairs go and any thing else you may need to fix up the apartment. A 7-11, Laundrymat, Liquor Store, Resale Shop and Pizza place at a walking distance. The Elementry and Junior High Schools are walking distance as well not to mention they are great schools! I recommend living at Autumn Chase!

Autumn Chase Apartments is a good place to start.. Especially for living on your own for the first time. Nice and quite area with affordable pricing. Everyone that works in the office is really sweet and helpful. If anything needs to be repaired they fix it right away. I recommend this apartment complex.

There are many outstanding things about this property, but I wouldn't have enough room to list all of them! The location is great , very close to many stores and also proximity to expressways. The property is managed by very polite , friendly professionals . The property is manicured with pride, maintenance Is always right on the spot when needed. Laundry facilities are very clean , and abundant. I am a swimmer, and the pool is extremely clean and looked after, plenty of space to sun , and if you're looking to sit and read in the shade , there is s beautiful oak tree overlooking the pool . There are tennis courts and places on property to cook out with your family. Mostly , being a single female and living alone , I feel completely safe. This complex is family oriented. I have lived in many apartment complexes throughout the country , I travel for a living and without a doubt , Autumn Chase has everything I need and want. I truly call Autumn Chase my home and wouldn't want to live anywhere else !

Not bad for the price, problems: car was towed with a sticker on it, Pool is not heated, peeling paint, old plumbing, faulty electricity, old apartment complex, sometimes try to evict me then magically find my rent on the floor. Good stuff: great location, decent community although surrounded by other questionable apartments, pool, rent is ok, honestly just going for the free rent for life

I really like the Autumn Chase Apartments. The people who works in the leasing office have been very polite to me. They always communicate via phone, e-mail, and regular mail. What I also like is the hand out news they gave to renters. It informs about swimming pool hours, reminders about how to be safe, the snow remove schedule, bed bugs factors, parking permit rules, renewal programs., maintenance emergency phone number, and etc. The laundry rooms are located in specific buildings. They are three ways to put money in the laundry card. The renter can call a toll free number, via internet, or in the leasing office. The apartments have large closets and neat kitchen and bathroom. In Winter is warm and in Summer the air conditioner works excellent. In general the buildings are very quite. In Summer people some times they are so excited about the weather that when they come late you may hear from outside of the building a little car noises. Also, there was one time in Summer, some people were knocking the doors saying they were sent to check the apartments. It was a false alarm.

I am about to enter my 5th year here in Autumn Chase Apartments. It’s just perfect from every aspect. It's location is very close to schools, parks, Woodfield mall, shops and both Hoffman and Schaumburg police station. It’s in a prime location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The apartments are very well maintained, never any complaints. Whenever, there was something that needed to be fixed, the staff on duty were there to help. It’s a very friendly and quiet community. Unlike other apartments, there’s the pool and BBQ area which is great for family time. I lived in many apartments in my life, but best believe it Autumn Chase is the best in the area.

My family and I have been living at Autumn Chase for nearly five years now, and have nothing but good things to say. This building is smack-dab in the middle of all your needs and necessities. You may find that schools, restaurants, super markets, and grocery stores are within a five minute walk or drive radius. The staff is very helpful, just give them a call and they can fix you right up! Close by, Autumn Chase has their very own swimming pool, tennis court, and an outdoor barbecue hut. Sadly, Autumn Chase does not provide a living space for your pet puppy/dog, but kittens/cats are welcomed. Nevertheless, Autumn Chase has nothing but goods things to offer.

I've lived here for over 10 years. Water & gas are a flat rate per month & the grounds & buildings are well kept. You don't have to worry about moving after a year due to $100 rent increases like some complexes. There are regular Rent Incentives by signing your lease early. Quick responses & follow up to maintance requests due to the very personable Assistant Property Manager & others. Autumn Chase Apartments is a place you can call home!

Ever since I came to Chicago IL, I have not seen an apartment such like autumn Chase. In management, Autumn chase is the best, talking about maintenance they're the best, in security purposes which is one of the most important, Autumn Chase Apartment are excellent, the staffs are nice, patient, and understanding Whenever you call to their service within 5 mins they give u a response Long live Autumn Chase!

Autumn Chase is nestled in a quiet Neighborhood with Luxurious Landscaping , A Gazebo with picnic area, tennis courts and swimming pool. The Apartments are clean and roomy with loads of closet space. the Leasing Office Staff is always ready to help and Maintenance is always quick to respond to any repair needs. Prices are so reasonable! Autumn Chase has been my place of residence for 13 years now! Its my Home and I Love it!

I have lived here for over a year and I have been very happy. The staff has always been helpful and has quickly responded to my questions. The grounds are kept beautifully with lots of trees, shrubs, and flowers. There is a pool, tennis courts, gazebos, barbecue areas, picnic areas, and laundry facilities. There are grocery stores, convenience stores, and a bank all within walking distance. The location has quick access to all the major expressways, but is far enough off the main path to seem like we are in a nature area.

I’ve lived here since 2012. The apartments are clean, (no bugs!) and the buildings themselves (hallways, stairs, etc.) are regularly cleaned and maintained. I live in a one-bedroom, and it is very spacious. The bedroom itself fits my elephant furniture (not literally furniture of an elephant, but each piece is enormous and ridiculous, but fits well). I’d have to say that the only negative is the fact that there is not too much counter space in the kitchen. There is just enough, but I usually have to end up going to my dining table for more room while I’m cooking. It’s not too much of a bother though, and not bad compared to other complexes I looked at. Personally, the GIANT bedroom closet makes up for the lack of kitchen counter space. My closet is so big that it’s almost like a second bedroom. Don’t let the small door deceive you – it goes on forever once you open it. The complex is located very close to many Schaumburg restaurants and it is about a ten minute drive from Woodfield Mall. Management is friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. I’ve rarely ever had maintenance issues while living here, but whenever I did, they sent someone out right away. Rent is very reasonable compared to other “not as great” complexes in this area. It’s perfect for someone moving out on their own for the first time, but it’s also perfect for families. Best part of all…it is walking distance from a 7-11, a liquor store, a great “pizza by the slice” place, and tacos. Seriously. What more does a person need?

It's decent. I recently moved in here. The management seems proactive, I requested several maintenance services and they were helpful.

I only been living here a month, and so far I love it. It's extremely close to everything the malls, little strip malls, express ways, department stores, grocery stores, and many food places. I like the convenience of everything especially driving wise with less traffic. I love how quiet it is at nice and very peaceful. The apartment itself is very spacious which I like the only down fall is I'm short 5'1 and something's are high, but other than that the place is great. I love it here..

I've been living here for a good number of years. It's located close to pretty much anything you would need, from shopping to services. Fire and police departments are located very close. The management takes great care of the surroundings in comparison to other places I have lived and places that friends have lived. Management has always been courteous and friendly to me and worked with me if I have ever had any problems. Maintenance has also always been prompt and courteous with me. While not completely soundproof, walls are decently thick, thicker than many places I've lived. Laundry facilities are a little sparse, but are cheaper than the alternative laundromats in the area. Late fees for rent have also gone up in the recent years, but if you're never late, it's nothing you would have to worry about. Only other problem I've had was having two vehicles damaged (one totaled) in the parking lot, but that was due to reckless drivers. All in all, I can't say I've had much to complain about, and have not had many issues.

In June of 2015 I was in urgent need of finding a new place to live as my previous living arrangements did not work out very well. I went weeks looking for places online, calling and emailing people. Then one day riding through the neighborhood I came across Autumn Chase Apartments. My initial reaction was to just go home and come back another day but I went instead. Got into the office and spoke with a former employee (John) and explained to him my situation and what was to be expected if i were to go through the application process. John was very helpful and kept in contact with me day to day keeping me up to date on any problem that may have occurred or if there were any additional things that I needed to do to move forward. About a week went by and I got the call everything has been accepted and I was able to move in. I really appreciated everything that he and the Autumn Chase staff has done to help get me what i needed and in a timely matter. I couldn't have asked for such a more supportive and helpful staff here and I'm sure if there were any other problem that were to occur, that the Autumn Chase staff will be there to help from beginning to end.

I have a very nice. Sized one bedroom. I truly. Enjoy. Having. The. Large. Living. Room. It is so very spacious. I enjoy having a walk in closet in the bedroom. And lots of. Sheles. To put things away.

Im living here now for 5 yrs. What i like in this aparment is everthing are close to the apartments like shopping mall,restaurants,schools. And the management they respond to all your needs. When you called them and later maintenance is there knocking on your door.

I have been reading these reviews because I'm looking for a home for a job re-location. I have lived here for 5 yrs. now and yea like any apartment problems may arise, but they have always been taken care of in a timely matter. It takes one bad persons experience to ruin it for everyone who is considering living here. Budbugs and spiders are found in some 5 star hotels but its about how you handle it which if any problem were to occur here it gets done free of charge and in like I said a timely matter. I had an issue in which I called the office and a young lady by the name of Tess who was extremely helpful and caring took care of it right away and went above and beyond . I do recommend you making your own opinion because I personaaly have enjoyed my stay here!!!

I love my apartment. The area is very quite, everyone is friendly, and parking is great. I do not have to worry about bugs. They keep these apartments very clean. There is so many restaurants around, shopping, and the list goes on. They throw pool parties throughout the summer. We have BBQ grills which doesn't get too busy so it's not hard at all to grill whenever you like. All of the apartments have dishwashers, large walkin closets, large living rooms, and large bedrooms. I love it here.

Have been at this current apartment for 2 yrs and am happy here. Very clean, always get a quick response to any maintenance issues. Staff is always friendly.

I like living at Autumn Chase Apartments, because if or when something goes wrong they come right away no matter what time of day it is. also i like because it is very close to everything that i need to go . like it's close to the expressway, the mall my kids school, grocery shopping etc.

This apartment has roaches that ALWAYS come back. The police are ALWAYS there because of one thing or another. The only reason I had to move here is because of the school district which is great. Toni who used to work in the office is rude and argues with you when you complain about things. Parking is horrible. The tow company that checks tags looks into your car before they tow to see if you have valuables (ive watched them do it ). The laundry room is always being used. the air conditioning eats away your comEd bill. the walls are also paper thin.

apartments are very nice, in close proximity to malls, grocery shopping centers and it has a very conducive environment. Has an elementary school opposite the apartment building. Overall I enjoyed the place.

Autumn chase is a very good apartment to live in. It is close to all basic amenities and provides us the privacy that we want.

This is a decent, affordable apartment in a good location. Only 45 minutes from the city and centrally located to shopping, movies, and parks. The complex has great outdoor spaces with gazebos and a pool. The staff is courteous and professional and all of the resident's I've met are kind and welcoming. Most utilities are included and they have a generous pet policy.

I lived in Autumn Chase from December 2003 until November 2013. I have nothing but praise for the staff and complex. The three times I had to call for service, the staff was quick and courteous. Oscar and Don (maintenance) were especially helpful. The complex manager, KC, worked with me when I had to move out due to health issues. The building was kept clean and fresh. When we had a problem with a lot of geese, they hired a service to scare them away from the property. Parking was good and well lighted. Heat was more then adequate. Pool was always clean. Neighbors were great.

After living in apartments for the past 7 years, Autumn Chase has proven to be a very adequate complex. Being from out-of-state, the entire staff has been very welcoming and helpful, many times going above-and-beyond their job description. The grounds are well kept and the parking areas are very clean and fairly spacious. I have not had any problems parking within a few feet of my complex door, even when arriving back well past midnight. They have taken action in reducing the amount and frequency of the presence of geese on the complex grounds. I noticed a quick and lasting result from their efforts. This is something that most people don't notice, because it is the elimination of a nuisance, not causing a nuisance. The staff is very helpful. As I frequently travel and am away for 5-7 days at a time, the staff is very understanding and helpful with safely storing all package deliveries. As some of my deliveries were urgent, I kindly asked if they could notify me, either by email or phone, of the arrival of any packages. I have received a call each time, and I receive monthly packages. I had some unforeseen circumstances arise, resulting in a small delay in rent payment. The staff was very understanding and worked with me to arrange for a timely payment, something very unheard of with most of the apartment complexes I have rented with in the past. The maintenance department works very hard and has addressed the few concerns I have had in a timely manner. There are no complaints with how the management operates the complex. I would highly recommend Autumn Chase to anyone looking for a place to stay. For the price and location, Autumn Chase is a great complex.
