National publications constantly place Pittsburgh near the top of the list for most livable cities in America, and it’s easy to see why. The city has a rich history as an industrial and economic hub, which led to the construction of many grand buildings and public sculptures which still stand today. Downtown in particular is rich with beautifully preserved buildings and lush public parks dating back well over a century, giving the entire community a timeless atmosphere.
Pittsburgh is split into three sections by the rivers passing through the city: Downtown (a.k.a. “The Golden Triangle), the North Side, and the South Side. Each has its fair share of attractions and landmarks: the North Side is home to Acrisure Stadium and PNC Park (making it a perfect area for sports fans), the South Side features big, beautiful greenways and refurbished steel mills, and Downtown is where you’ll find the most variety in dining, nightlife, and entertainment.

Property Ratings at Holiday Park Apartments and Townhomes
I lived on Logans Ferry Road. The bathroom is very outdated. Typical cheap place with 18 coats of paint on the wall bare bones minimum to just keep up appearances. They expect premium rent for lipstick on a pig. When I moved out they stole my security depsoit for a bunch of bogus reasons you cant prove or disprove. If you ask around I would imagine a lot of other former tenants have similar stories. They are liars I wouldnt live here. If you like the area call a competitor there are enough in the area where you shouldnt have to settle for this

Lived at one of their small satellite townhouse groups from 2015 to 2018. Pros: Nice location, lots of places conveniently close, good price for space and well kept property. Pretty well located for getting into Pittsburgh, and right on a main road to get to the Monroeville shopping areas. Cons: There were neighbor issues (though the worst one moved out before I did), and the neighborhood kids have nothing to do in the summer except annoy passers-by. Nothing terrible, though my car was slightly vandalized by a neighbor kid. The office also seemed to have a lot of trouble remembering details about our location. They insisted everyone had 2 parking spaces, but there were 13 spaces for 8 units. There's an "overflow" lot, but the first time they gave directions to it, they gave the wrong location. There are some animal issues when it comes to the garbage area.
Lived here for four years and paid about 50,000 in rent. When I moved they held on to my deposit and charged me an additional $38 along with my deposit for simple petty stuff just keep my deposit which I was never paid interest on for the years I lived there. They became so petty that they even charge me $10 for cleaning microwave and $20 for fridge. Now this is their property that they need to get ready for new resident but they had me pay for it.
I HAVE RENTED THIS 3BEDROOM 2.5 BATH TOWNHOUSE FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS AND HAD MINOR TO MAJOR MAINTENANCE PROBLEMS WHICH WERE ALL RESOLVED IN A TIMELY AND PROFESSIONAL MANNER. EVERY SINGLE TECH THEY SENT OUT, WHETHER FOR ELECTRICAL, A/C, CLOSET DOORS OR WHATEVER, WAS PERSONABLE, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THOUGHTFUL. THE COMMUNITY IS QUIET, THE NEIGHBORS FRIENDLY AND THE PETS I HAVE ENCOUNTERED HAVE BEEN WELL BEHAVED AND WELL CONTROLLED. THE GROUNDS MAINTENANCE AND SNOW REMOVAL HAVE BEEN PRO-ACTIVE AND ABOVE AVERAGE. I HAVE TRULY ENJOYED MY TIME WITH HOLIDAY PARK AND HOPE MY NEXT LOCATION WILL BE AS POSITIVE AN EXPERIENCE.
I've lived in a two bedroom townhouse for nearly a decade and am generally pretty non-needy as a tenant. Garage is decent and private laundry is a big perk. Kitchen is small but usable. Normally with as neutral an experience as I've had I wouldn't take the time to write a review, but I feel compelled to share one of the worst maintenance experiences I've ever had. On Thursday October 4th I found that the central AC was failing to cool the unit and the apartment was 82 degrees inside. As it was after hours I decided just to submit a workorder via the website. I received no confirmation so on Friday morning I called the office during business hours. They had no idea that I had submitted a workorder, so definitely don't trust their online tools. They did dispatch a technician on Friday and I came home to a note saying that they needed a motor. I suffered through an uncomfortably hot weekend as the outside temperature was just as warm as the inside for the weekend and left on a business trip on Monday the 8th. I called to let the office know I was travelling and that they were welcome to enter without additional confirmation to get things fixed. I returned today, October 11th and entered my apartment through an unlocked front door. Looking at the maintenance note They timestamped 51 hours before with a note that the AC was fixed. As I write this I have the AC set to cool to 72 degrees and I am sweating in my 81 degree apartment. The AC is not fixed and my apartment was left unsecured, thankfully nothing was missing. I called the office at 5:21 PM and was basically told that there was no one I could talk to that could help and their concierge would call tomorrow as would maintenance. I would advise against renting from this company unless you think you can make it your entire time without maintenance issues or don't like your worldly possessions and want your landlord to make sure people can take them off your hands. As an additional note I spoke to staff in both the local office and the management office who felt that the level of service provided was acceptable levels of service and that because nothing was stolen that leaving an apartment unsecured was not nearly as big a problem as I feel it is. Based on this experience my opinion of the staff and overall has decreased. Consider that if this is how they treat a tenant of nearly a decade how you will be treated as a new tenant when deciding on where to live.
This apartment is carpeted throughout except the galley style kitchen. This is a one bedroom that is somewhat lacking in style, or taste. Recently I've had an infestation of bees invade my apartment. After a few weeks this is still a problem. The windows are somewhat broken, and constantly leak air, or heat. The front door does not seal properly. I had an electrical issue with a socket. Being handy I evaluated the issue, and found that the ground wire was sparking inside the outlet. The ceiling fans work! Laundry is provided on site, but I end up spending quite a lot of money in order to keep my clothes clean! The dry doesn't dry in one cycle. Its approximately 800 square feet, and it appears I have 900 sq feet of stuff. I am currently looking to upgrade my living to a smarter location with something more stylish.
