Property Ratings at Holly Court
Great experience. Could not have asked for everything more from the staff or with the apartment
Property Manager at Holly Court, Responded To This Review
Hi Kenley, we’re so glad that you had such a great experience with everything!
Management is rude and unhelpful. Maintenance is lazy. Apartments have very little insulation making bills go crazy when weather hits extremes. Amenities are overpriced and poor quality. Only one community out of 3 has a dumpster for large furniture and yet we still pay for trash collection. Rent is far too high for the poor quality of living. Aion Management is unprofessional and never returns calls.
I am a long term resident, 23 years. I have only good things to say! Marie and Terri in the office are so friendly and helpful with everything! Jeff with maintenance does a great job and Todd is always approachable whenever I needed! I recommend Holly Court Apartments!

My July electricity cost $263.00 even though I was on vacation for 2 weeks with the air conditioning turned off. We just received "tips" from management on how to lower our electric bill in the summer. It is almost November but I still read it. The suggestions were laughable: Our blinds don't block the street light let alone block the heat from the sun. Ceiling fans - we have one. Energy Star appliances - all of our appliances are so old they heat up the apartment. Not sure where that renovated apartment is they show on their website, but mine is worn out and full of holes.

First of all the downstairs apartments sit on a crawlspace/basement in which rodents , insects(spider crickets), and water get into creating a pest problem and strong mildew smell. One of the basement doors has been open for a few weeks now god knows what could be alice or dead down there

I had a scheduled tour today, November 9th, at 1pm and unfortunately I did not have the privilege of seeing the inside of Holly Court apartment homes. I arrived early waiting in the parking lot... when I went to the leasing office door,(locked) there was a sign on the door stating the office went to lunch and will be back at 1:15pm! ..i didnt even get a courtesy call. As a benefit of a doubt, I waited... once 1:15 came around, I called the office and was transferred to a gentleman(answering service off site). I informed him of my issue and he stated that he will call the ladies who went to lunch. I was also informed that the leasing office staff will call me shortly to apologize and see me right away with a call... well it is now 3:25pm and I have NOT received ANY phone call back. Holly Court, this is NOT a good first impression.

I have been living in this apartment complex for two years, and ever since the new management took over we have been experiencing nothing but issues. They send notices that they will need to enter your apartment on specific days, and never show up. You don’t hear from them often, and when you do it’s nothing but an inconvenience. I have confronted management several times about a mold/mildew issue with the bathroom because they feel as though a window will suffice over ventilation. Rent goes up every year a ridiculous amount. Don’t get trapped like we did.

I have lived at Holly Court East for over two years. This has been a wonderful place to live. The girls in the office are amazing. You feel right at home from the minute you walk in. My apartment was clean and freshly painted when I moved in. The maintenance staff is superb. I never had to wait over a day for anything. The lawn and gardens are very well maintained, as well as snow removal and salt during the winter months. I have very many fond memories here. It has been a wonderful experience, and will miss it tremendously. If you are looking for a great community, and a safe environment with an excellent office staff, look no further than Holly Court Apartments. T. Smith
Holly Court is average as far as apartments in NJ go. The area is really nice, quiet, and safe. The buildings are a little run down, but that's to be expected for older buildings. The office staff and maintenance are 5 stars for sure, though. They are super responsive, friendly, and understanding, and will do whatever it takes to make sure any issues are fixed. They're also very pet friendly which is great. The buildings might not be the best or fanciest, but the service and the area make up for it. All my neighbors are really nice too!
We've been living here in Holly Court (The half of the complex near Delsea Drive, the one without the pool, hah!) since August of 2013 and it's met all of our expectations. Though my wife isn't fond of using the laundry room because she says the ladies there are nosy, I haven't had any such problems. The apartment is clean with friendly neighbors, it's close to all of the stores/restaurants on Delsea and downtown Pitman, and the complex itself is very well maintained. Grass is always cut, bushes are trimmed, and you're on the same block as a gas station, bank and a WaWa, which means you're a short walk away from getting anything you need. Maintenance is good too, since they always come up very quickly after I call and are very respectful about your place. Owner is a sweet lady too. Overall, I'd have to recommend it to anyone looking to move into the area. Only real bad thing is that parking in the back, where we're at, can be tough at times.
My apartments were built in 1968. They are well maintained and when something needs to be repaired it is done asap. The grounds are kept nice and shoveledd immediately during a snow storm. Never plowed in your spot. They do, however, increase rent each year. This year my rent went up $60 and it seems everyone pays something different?
Nice quiet country living, close to major highways, shopping and restaurants. Close to Rowan Campus. Nice pool, Nice size apartments, large bedrooms and closets. Parking is sometimes a problem on the weekends and the rent is on the high end. Your monthly bills will be Rent, Hot Water, Sewer, Trash, Heat, Water, Electric, Cable, Food and billing fees. Cats are welcome but there are fees.
