Property Ratings at Hollytree Apartments
This apartment complex was completely useless. Me and my husband were tugged around for 3 weeks after our application was sent in due to a mistake on the background check. I am 8 and a half months pregnant and they repeatedly told me not to look for another apartment and that it would be no problem to get accepted. I find out today, one week before our hopeful move in date that we had been denied with no explanation other than the background check mistake that they admitted at one point was a MISTAKE. The management team was completely useless and I was only able to talk to them once I showed up and demanded to speak to them. While there, there was other people complaining about things as well including one man who was told he didn’t pay rent when he had proof that he had. This apartment is nothing but incompetent and worthless. STAY AWAY!
I stayed here for a month and when I tell you they never came to fix anything! My sink was leaking from the week I moved in until the week I moved out. A/C stopped working my apt was hot! They NEVER came! The complex was terrible. Loud neighbors! The police was always there! I wouldn’t suggest you move your animals here!!!!!!!!
This is the worst place I've lived at yet. The staff is so disorganized and completely unprofessional. Before I even moved in, I was told everything would be ready and the lease would be prepped for me to sign on move in day. Come move in day, I was told move in time wouldn't be until 4pm which is completely outrageous because I found out nothing was done not even the lease due to the fact they were in the middle of changing management. So all my belongings and paid movers had to wait all day until I could officially move in. All the repairs that needed to be listed the first 24 hours were not handled until 3-6 months later. The AC was leaking for at least 2 months before someone took a look at it. My garbage disposal was out for nearly 6 months. Toilet didn't work first day I moved in. Tubs were clogged. They took so long to even get back to me I ended up using my own money to fix it myself. I was referred by a friend who was supposed to get a $200 referral. Guess what. Never did. They'd constantly blame their inefficiency to techinicallities. Like if you requested a work order online they'd say you had to call or show up. Vise versa. One night I came home from work and they were upgrading the apartment above me. I didn't complain about the noise until the next morning after a long excruciating night of drilling and mass weight drops in the middle of the night all night long. They thought it was a better idea to say screw you to the current tenants and accommodate future residence instead. I asked visible workers how long they think the noises will last. No one had an answer. I went to the office and I overheard the manager telling the girl in front of me say "it is what it is. This is not their house. Its their apartment and they get mad when we don't fix things and they get mad when we do fix things." She then shut the door and closed me out not once making direct contacts with me or apologizing for any inconvenience. It is inappropriate to do construction after hours especially where people reside. They could have at least given me a heads up. The unprofessionalism is way beyond terrible borderline tragic. No one seems to care and no one gets their job done. They never put relevant notices out and its always the tenents fault for anything and everything. I can't imagine paying nearly a thousand dollars every month for service like this. Do not live here. The cockroaches can pay rent since they're the ones who live here unbothered.
Is quiet during the night so quiet and peaceful deer in the days to fair prices are wonderful office staff and a great place to raise a family
I am a long term resident of Stone Creek. When I first moved here, this was one of the prettiest places of it's kind in town. It stayed that way for a long time, then new owners took over. There was one owner, in particular, that obviously did not care about the conditions which caused lots of issues. Thank God they are no longer the owners!! The next owners made lots of improvements including upgrades to the flooring, new appliances, and contrast painting in the living area. These improvements helped me to decide to stay! The current owners have continued to improve the property, picking up where the last owners left off. The maintenance staff is competent and attentive to my needs as promptly as possible. I have to say that the office staff is much more professional than those in the past. Their presence has improved quite a bit and that is impressive. It makes me more apt to recommend others to consider making Stone Creek their home. I recently had to contact the owners, myself, to question my concern for the online payment system. I was relieved to know that they, too, are concerned for the welfare of the residents and were very professional and compassionate. Stone Creek is improving and it is making good progress to be GREAT!!!
From day one that I moved into these apartments the following matinence issues have occurred: from day one, we have called about the leaking AC. At this point there are water stains on the ceiling, and there are water stains and the ceiling is crumbling. They have yet to fix the AC and we’ve been here 6 months. Our apartment was broken into and $700 was stolen from us because the “security features” on the back sliding door were not properly installed, and when we called matinence to come over and fix it, they screwed the main lock back into the already stripped holes and told us that we just had to get our own bar and pin (which is totally against regulation). Our toilet has overflowed more than once, and has actually leaked under the wall and into the closet. We called matinence about it and have yet to hear anything. Remember the AC Issue? We have 4 bowls on the floor because it won’t stop leaking and we have even called to get filters replace to which they replied “were out” there is now black mold growing in the AC and the carpet stays wet. Oh. And the apartment above us flooded and messed up our light fixtures and put even more water stains into our ceiling that they have yet to fix. If you’re okay with your already raggedy apartment falling apart... please move here. We’re about to just leave because of all of the TAA lease violations. This place is a joke. Do not move here if you value cleanliness and upkeep of your home.
It's a good place to stay. It's super cheap and the apartments are nice for the price.
The only reason I rent here is because it's a good price. The apartments aren't to bad but they're not great either. Office staff doesn't seem to care about anyone but theirselves. I've had so many problems from the moment I've moved in. From a filthy apartment to my whole apartment flooding. Like I said the only reason o live here is because the price is decent.
Stone creek apartments is the perfect place to hide away from the city life. When you turn the corner into the stone creek apartments you're quickly reminded that there is calm in the crazy place called "downtown". A swimming pool sitting in the middle of the complexes gives you a place to relax even more and a doggie park gives your fury friends the same opportunity. Calm in the middle of chaos.
Baby's first footsteps, baby's first word, now baby's first apartment. Stonecreek apartments meets all the requirements for a PERFECT first apartment. Location makes it easy to get my fast food grub on, and to fulfill my monday-friday movie cravings. Doggie park allows me to take my partner in crime out for a good time too. Also, for my non-fury friends there's a beautiful pool to take the texas heat away. Great place for a baby's first apartment.
I have lived here for just about 2 years now and I have to say, this is the longest I have stayed at an apartment complex. Everyone is so friendly, the maintenance is always right on time, they work with you when you need help, the staff is great and the amenities are amazing! Pool, new gym, fireplace! The rent is the most affordable I have come across in the last 4 years of living in Tyler. And they even give you discounts that are more than other places around. There is no problem with the neighbors, it's a safe environment and pet friendly! I love living here!
