We are glad to hear Rosa is doing such an amazing job. We will make sure to pass along your kind words. Thank you!
I’ve come this place twice and told them I have fish tank and dog and they say it’s okay to have these just send out a application first. After I spend 40 of none-refundable application fee and application approved, they ask me come to their leasing office again for a copy of my ID. The day I get their leasing office which is an hour and half away from where I live now, they tell me they not sure about fish and gonna call me later. After two hours they called me that they don’t allow any fish tank in the building, what a JOKE :(

After trying to contact the leasing office unsuccessfully with emails, I decided to call and make an appointment for a tour. The day I was supposed to have the tour, I called to confirm that I will be there at the exact hour. I took a day off from work and spent $140 on Uber so I can see the place. I arrived 30 minutes earlier and realized that nobody is there. I called the company to ask why is nobody there, and the lady told me to wait a little bit. I did wait for more than 1.5 hrs and nobody showed up. I tried to call the leasing office more than 6 times after that and nobody answered the phone. I wasted my day and money for a company that obviously takes the customers for granted and doesn't care. What a horrible experience...

Have had homeless come in and sleep at my doorstep. No air flow creates a musty, dead air feeling as you come home. Very kind management and maintenance team do their very best. Have been assaulted on La Mirada Ave. There’s trees!

Came into an apartment with a non-functioning stove, heater, roach infestations, at times no parking and was forced to park in illegal areas. On a never ending parking spot waiting list. Paper thin walls. View outside is of my neighbor’s apartment(room). Zero light comes in.

The exterior is littered with homeless people and a newly forming tent city. The parking situation is horrendous. The feeling of “I’m probably going to get mugged” fills the air in the surrounding neighborhood. The apartments are musty and a funky smell shrouds the halls. Everything looks poorly put together, as if a single knock to your front door would bust it wide open. 10:10 do not recommend.

We're very sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied, but we appreciate your feedback. Although we're unable to respond to activity beyond our community, we do provide Courtesy Patrol on the property in the event they are needed. We do offer parking on-site, though we understand it tends to fill up quickly. While street parking is not always ideal, we are lucky that our area isn't typically too busy on the street. Air fresheners are in place in the hallways, but we encourage residents to let us know if they notice an issue so that we can determine the source. While our residences don't have any structural issues, we are pleased to announce that all residences becoming newly available will be completely renovated and remodeled to provide a modern living experience. If you would like to discuss your concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the Leasing Center to speak with our Community Manager. We're here to help! Thank you, The Hollywood Off Vine Team
First month living there I had roches! And all different kinds of bugs! Sure the apartment is cute, and has a nice size bath room. My fridge stooed working and two of my burners on the stove didn’t work. But the area is awful! It’s right next to a mental hospital, there are homeless everywhere, and the police are constantly getting called. I got mugged literally right on the front porch. Definitely not a good area. I would definitely not recommend.

Thank you for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear of your recent frustrations at Hollywood Off Vine. Due to our central location in the city, pests are common, but not to be expected. Pest control is on the property two (2) times per month each month, and any tenant who would like their unit treated can submit a request to do so free of charge. As mentioned, our property is in the city so vagrants would be expected, although harmless. Also, we do have Courtesy Patrol on the premises from 9 PM - 6 AM every day of the week. If you have any other questions or concerns, don't hesitate to speak to our community manager, Rosa. Sincerely, The Hollywood Off Vine Team
Stay away from this building. I have lived here for a year and has to be one of the worst places to live in Hollywood. First off this building is infested with roaches. The studios are small (not even 300 square feet.),and have have unsmooth cracked walls. I had semi hot water for a month because the boiler broke and took forever to fix. Rosa the property manager is rude and very unattentive. It took her weeks to fix the hot water. She would constantly tell me the hot water was fixed but it would go off again a day later. And then she would tell me it's fixed and then again the hot water would go off. It literally took a month till the hot water started to work consistently. I cannot tell you how many times i've gotten sick from taking cold showers. Stay away from this place at all cost.
These studio apartments are VERY small. That's not necessarily a dealbreaker, it helps makes them really cheap, especially for the area. No closets, but cheap Ikea-type armoire/wardrobes are provided to make up for it. They also provide a wall-mounted TV with an antenna for OTA channels, and reception is really good, but you can also get cable through Time Warner. There's also free wifi (ask Rosa in the office about it!). It's pretty slow, but it's definitely nice to have something available in the interim between moving in and getting real internet installed/turned on, if there is one! Small dorm-style fridges with a "chiller" are also provided. Don't expect to be able to keep ice cream, but it can freeze ice. No oven and very little counter space in the kitchen. No storage or counter space in the bathroom.
