Every city has an “it” neighborhood – fun, funky, close to everything – and for DC, that neighborhood is Logan Circle. Named for a historic traffic circle ringed with Victorian homes, Logan Circle is beautiful, trendy, pedestrian-friendly, and filled with terrific boutiques, restaurants, theaters, art galleries, and bars. Think second-hand stores and avant garde films, dive bars and elegant French restaurants. Being DC’s “it” neighborhood, Logan Circle apartments are in very high demand.
You’ll find a variety of shops, restaurants, bars, and theaters along 14th Street. If you are out shopping and want to stop for lunch, Le Diplomate is rumored to have the best burgers around. In the evening, Sotto is the place to be. For tapas, head to Estadio. Catch a play at Studio Theatre, or take a walking tour of the area’s numerous art galleries. If you want to furnish your new DC apartment, find just the right vintage or shabby chic item at Miss Pixie’s Furniture & Whatnot.

Property Ratings at HOLM
My Holm experience in one month... 1. Shooting. (Yes this actually happened AND there was blood spatter left on the communal wall through the weekend.) 2. Car broken into in the "secure" parking garage 3. Neighbor's bike stolen 4. Key fob broken to enter apartment, twice in one month. 4. Elevator is broken.... a weekly experience here. 4. Broken shower, floorboards, heat... need I continue. 5. Countless other issues Holm is the worst apartment building that I have ever experienced. It is far too expensive for the low quality of the unit. It is extremely overpriced, poorly made, and poorly run. You would think that the management/ owners would do something to try to remedy the situation. Most of my experiences have been that they blame someone else. Nothing is ever fixed, just a band aid. I would never recommend this building to anyone. I am sure it is not up to the DC safety code. Just a lawsuit waiting to happen.
One of the worst places I've ever lived in terms of pricing, construction and management company/ staff. Nothing gets fixed properly or fixed at all. I've lived here a year so far and the only thing nice I can say is that it is a great location. Most of the problems existed before moving in and just wasn't caught by myself and wasn't QC before moving in by the property. When issues are corrected the work is usually completed poorly which makes it look worse than before the repair was started. When issues are brought to the attention of the management company they continue to blame staff that has been replaced due to their poor performance. As a tenant, I don't want you to blame others, I want you to fix the issue. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a future residence.
