It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Homecoming at Creekside
This is absolutely the worst place I've ever lived in. Insanely overpriced for a so-called "luxury apartment" that is infested with disgusting, resistant cockroaches. Luckily, the roaches have mostly been in the garage and downstairs area, but some still afford to make their way up into my private living space, forcing me to dispose of my brand new couch to prevent any further infestation and live with extreme anxiety everyday now. I even signed up for weekly pest treatments provided by the apartment, including an aggressive treatment that required me to clear out my kitchen and bathroom area, and the problem has only gotten worse. Makes me wonder if it's all just placebo treatment at this point or if I am exposing myself to harmful chemicals for no apparent reason. I also keep my place very clean and store all food away. I have also sprayed bleach and roach spray frequently around my apartment, and nothing has helped. Management keeps claiming they're doing their best to help and that it is a problem every year in Sacramento, but that is certainly not the case. DO NOT LIVE AT THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT COCKROACHES INVADING YOUR LIFE
Property Manager at Homecoming at Creekside, Responded To This Review
Lynn,I wanted to start off by thanking you for your residency with us here at Homecoming at Creekside for the last year. We strive to provide an exceptional living experience for all of our residents, and we do our best to remedy any concerns that arise. I wanted to let you know what has already been completed this year for the sewer roach issue. In May we completed an aggressive treatment to all manhole and assessable cleanouts throughout the community. We do this annually to assist in the removal of the sewer roach issue. Additionally, we contacted the City of Sacramento who came and assessed their manhole covers and completed a flush and treatment as well. We cannot anticipate when a pest control issue will arise and because of that we offer weekly preventative pest control treatments scheduled for our building exteriors, as well as offering the option to schedule interior treatments as needed. I have scheduled an exterior ground treatment for your building to assist in your pest issue. I know you have been signing up weekly for pest control services, if these services are not working, we can set up a time for pest control to come and inspect your home and see if there is anything additional that needs to be done to assist in the eradication of pests from your home. If you have some time, I would like to discuss this with you further. You can reach me at 916-419-0995 or via email at Daniella.chapman@lewismc.com. Your feedback is important to us, and I look forward to hearing from you.Respectfully,Daniella ChapmanGeneral ManagerHomecoming at Creekside
Apartment is falling apart. Clearly cheapily made. Management has been some of the worst I've ever dealt with, particularly the night management. They have rules and regulations that make absolutely no sense and have no real purpose to them. Definitely not renewing my lease!

Dear neighbor,I wish I knew what apartment you lived in to help understand what is happening in your home. We take pride in responding to each resident and it seems like we may have failed you. I want to find a way to correct the items in your home and find a way to rebuild our relationship. Please contact the office and ask for Angelika Taylor . SincerelyAngelika Taylor916-419-0995
Love the location and the schools. However, the value is not worth the price. People are friendly and the grounds are well maintained. Amenities areas are well kept also.
Property Manager at Homecoming at Creekside, Responded To This Review
Hi Thank you for the review. I understand our property is currently doesn't seem it is worth the value because everything is shut down and we can't truly show you our full potential and for that I agree. About this time of year we are having tacos and tequila free to the residents with live music and endless fun. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I truly hope we are able to one day return to what we know and understand is a normal way of life. In the meantime, we have to make the best of it and stay safe in the meantime. Sincerely,Angelika TaylorGeneral Manager
I have had the pleasure of walking on the grounds of these beautiful apartments, when I came an visit my friends here. I can truly say they are so very beautiful, but very expensive. lol. it's worth the money to be living in luxury. it I had a choice I would most definitely move here. it would be my first choice..
I have lived here for almost 3 years, beautiful community, over priced leases and rent goes up every year, some management are great and some staff need to be fired for their unprofessionalism and how they speak to residents. I'm glad I work a lot so that I don't have to deal with that individual .
Great place to live; many amenities, great location, .walk to college, dog park, park and 2 freeway access not to incllude back road to lincoln/roseville
I would highly recommend these apartments two single people, to couples, or to families. It's close to parks, schools, stores and has amazing accommodations.
Spacious home with a great layout. Friendly staff and lots of fun community activities. Convient and close to restaurants and shopping
A great place to live. Quiet, clean and friendly. Parks, walking trail and nearby stores without the crowds. What more could you want?
Love living at Homecong. The community events and Clubhouse create a great family atmosphere.
We moved to Natomas at Creekside in 2006 and we are still here because we love not only the beautiful neighborhood, the well kept apartment community but also the management team which we have communicated with often through out or time here. What initially drew us to this area is the gorgeousness of the neighborhood. We are seconds away from beautiful Kokomo Park where many neighborhood events take place. I love engaging with people at the park as I walk my dog through the neighborhood and Creekside often participates in neighborhood events in the park. The second thing that attracted us to the are was of course the Creekside community. When we did our first walk-through to see an apartment, we were struck by how well maintained the community is. Beautiful, lush greenery, two playgrounds, two small parks within the community, the pool area, a library, movie theater, gym and the list goes on!!!! We also really liked the 'homey' feel of the community. Of course through the years we have had some great neighbors and some not so great but that has never affected how much we really enjoy our home here. Another major plus is the staff here at Creekside. When ever there is a problem or a question, the staff here is usually right on top of it. The staff from management to maintenance are all very friendly and professional and they know their stuff. When things break down, they are quickly repaired, when something on the lease is wrong or their is an accounting issue, it is quickly addressed. We have never been let down by the staff here at Creekside. Lastly, major business are just minutes away yet they aren't intrusive on the Creekside neighborhood. Groceries, nail shops, Rite Aid all within walking distance if you want! And this area is so beautiful it makes you want to get out and get some fresh air.
Apartments are nice and it feels safe there, however you hardly ever see anyone outside and there are many rats and huge cockroaches at night outside.
I love our apartment complex. My bf and I decided to get our own place together and searched for a long time. After looking at various apartments downtown Sacramento and North Natomas area. We liked Homecoming at Creekside the best not only because of all the cool amenities, but the walk-in closet was a must for me since I have tons of shoes, purses, and clothes and need the space for it. The new up to date full size washer and dryer in the units were also huge brownie points since I hate walking to a laundry facility late at night with old washer and dryers to find out that I do not have enough quarters saved up to dry my second load of clothes like most apartment units that we looked at were like or had tiny stackable washer and dryers in the units that looked like toys. Also, another plus to why we chose Homecoming was the reasonable price and the attached garages. I have a ton of boxes that I need for work and would not fit in any small one bedroom apartment that did not have a garage or a large storage closet attached to the unit. Besides these 3 top things that my bf and I looked for in an apartment like the washer/dryer in unit, attached garages, and walk0in closets we love the fact that it is a vey safe neighborhood with security and a night manager always taking care of the community 24 hours a day. Te apartments are clean, new, up to date, we have 24 hour maintenance repair, tons of free fun events for the residences, and free fitness class that i love going to for residence of this community. The list goes on of all the positives of this apartment community, but I will stop now before I write an essay.
I have been living at Homecoming for almost eight years. I live in a 3-Bedroom Townhouse and I love my apartment and I like the Community and the Office Staff. This property has a lot to offer residents which I try to take advantage of as often as I can. At one point I had considered downsizing and moving. I looked at other apartment communities in the Natomas area but none could compare to Homecoming; therefore I am staying put.
I like our apartments. The only two things I would say need to be looked into is the pigeons that sit on the roofs. Maybe there Ned's to be a net put over the roof so tjey can't put their nests there. The other issue is spiders during the summer. I think they should spray atleast once a month during the summer time because that's when they seem to come out the most.
It really does feel like your coming home at the end of the day. The units are large in size and the amenities are great! The leasing agents and all staff are extremely friendly and know me by name.. Trust me I'm not one to chat so knowing my name isn't something typical of leasing staff. Our AC went down during the summer and they did not waste anytime to get it working so the turn around time has always been great! Location is awesome I literally open my door to a walking trail that leads to a dog park, playground, splash pad, farmers market.
HCS is the best apartment complex in Sacramento (and I can say this, because I toured just about all of them before moving here). The community and staff are amazing, and the apartment itself is clean, quiet, and well-maintained. Repair staff are on-call 24/7, and whenever there is an issue, it's worked out in a timely and efficient manner. The available amenities compared to other apartment complexes are second-to-none, and the comfort and security of the neighborhood are amazing.
I'm lived at the homecoming complex for over five years. I choose this particular complex for multiple reasons: 1. Ease of freeway access, makes commuting a little less painful each day. 2. Attached garages, great to have storage for my tools and junk I can't live without. 3. Nice layouts, large great room area with high ceilings gives a nice open feel. 4. Amenities. Dog park, walking trail, on site gym, 2 pools; one heated in winter, 2 spas, steam room, Business center, rec room, theatre. They even give you Breakfast on the go once a month as you drive out the gates. 5. It's restaurant and fast food heaven within walking distance.. I'm hoping I can walk off the calories on the way there and back. 6. Maintenance is very prompt to deal with issues. 7. It's quiet. And with security and night manager on sight, very safe.
I've lived at Homecoming by Creekside in North Natomas for over 3 years and have no complaints. Freeway access is very convenient to go in all directions, North, South, East or West. Lots of walking trails nearby with a regular and dog park very close. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. Maintenance issues are handled promptly and everything in the complex is well maintained. They even accept my packages and keep them in a secured room.
My apartment has access to a an excellent community house with free "everything" so its pretty great here.
I actually like Homecoming at Creekside. It has a home feel with lots of amenities within walking distance.
My wife and I have lived at the homecoming complex for over five years. I choose this particular complex for multiple reasons: Ease of freeway access, makes commuting a little less painful each day. Attached garages, great to have storage for my tools and junk I can't live without. Nice layouts, large great room area with high ceilings gives a nice open feel. Amenities. Dog park, walking trail, on site gym, 2 pools; one heated in winter, 2 spas, steam room, Business center, rec room, theatre. I have been living at Homecoming at Creekside for over 7 years now and I've loved every year. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are kept clean and they have great entertainment events.
I have been living at Homecoming at Creekside since November 2014. Management has been easy to work with and maintenance issues are promptly addressed. There are several amenities at this large apartment community; all of which are clean and well kept. This community is only minutes from Downtown Sacramento and the Sacramento Airport. Very conveniently located off of Interstate 5.
I've lived at Homecoming for 5 months now and I have nothing bad to say about it. When my townhouse requires any repairs, maintenance has taken care of them by the time I get home from work the next day. The gym has quite a few machines and is always clean, as is the pool. Resident Services makes picking up packages, renting movies, and finding out what fun activities are going on super easy. And speaking of fun activities, there is something going on just about every weekday: zumba, taco parties, and yoga to name a few! The complex is great for both young adults and families. I cannot say enough good things.
I think this place is a great place to live. The floor plans are great, the amenities are awesome for the price you're paying, and there's a community watch program. The staff are very friendly and can help you as soon as possible when you have a problem. I moved from a very small farm town, and when I moved here I felt very safe.
I had the choice of living anywhere I choose and in the perfect environment I choose. But, I chose Homecoming at Creekside because of its location and the condition and diversity of the property. As well as the close proximity to shopping centers and supermarkets. Being retired and feeling safe is extremely important to me, as well as around people who love what they do and treat you the same is important. Not only was the rent reasonable for this area, the people who work here the maintenance and administrative staff and managers take what they do with pride. In addition, I love that the community provides extra activities on a weekly basis to appease its residences, as well as asking its residences what do they want and need, and that is a plus in my book. I love it here and have resided in this place for over 2 years, and counting.
The apartment/townhomes at Homecoming at Creekside is like living at a resort year round. The amenities are bountiful. The grounds are very well maintained, the maintenance department is top notch and the Events director has things planned for all residents on a weekly basis. The office staff has to be one of the friendliest and professional to work with. The complex is close to major freeways and shopping centers with several in walking distance. There are plenty of outdoor activities in the area and is family and pet friendly. This all can be had in North Natomas area of Sacramento.
people are friendly and the gym and pool are awesome. office has many activities and free yoga classes. However, walls are paper thin and hear everything from neighbor. materials of the walls and cabinets are cheap.
One of the best apartments in this neighborhood, let alone Sacramento! The staff is friendly and provide excellent service, with almost immediate responses to your needs. Clean, roomy, and safe! Spacious garages and plenty of guest and outdoor parking. You've got to love the amenities - outdoor pools, biggest/cleanest apartment gym I've seen, cyber cafe, community room, mini-theatre, game room, and more!
Homecoming Luxury Apartments in North Natomas are located just 4.5 miles from the Sacramento airport. It's close without being in the direct traffic patterns. A mere 15 minutes from downtown by car or shuttle that you can pickup anywhere along Kokomo Drive. On your way to Tahoe or the Bay Area for the weekend, the freeway is less than a mile away with I-80 just 2 miles more. All kinds of fast-food, restaurants, supermarket, gas stations, banks and schools are within walking distance. Many large fashion, electronics, home improvement and theatre are within a couple miles. It borders a park with play structure, baseball and lots of bike trails and lanes. You have the suburb feel with all of the conveniences of a large city. The complex offers over ten different floorplans and sizes of apartments to fit the needs of any family or individual. It includes garage parking, washer and dryer in the units along with gas cooking. Enjoy an afternoon swim in the large pool while you BBQ on one of two gas grills. Or perhaps a morning or evening workout in the gym that includes machines, free weights and cardio options. This can all be followed by a soothing hottub. Along with the gym, the clubhouse includes a business center, theatre, pool table, area for crafts, kids studying, library, meeting rooms and two kitchens. It's perfect for a lazy afternoon to read a book or have a large gathering for friends and family. Oh, and don't forget the mail drop service for packages and movie checkout. Did I mention that it is a gated community and that there is a monthly community watch program. If you aren't already convinced that this is the place for you, then I need to tell you about the wonderful staff and maintenance crew. The office personnel and leasing agents are knowlegable and very friendly. The maintenance service is fast and efficient. It's a well maintained facility that has something for everyone either on the property or within walking distance, bus, shuttle, bike or car. It doesn't get much better than location, amenties and friendly staff. Hope to see you soon as one of the family of residents at Homecoming at Creekside in North Natomas.
This is a real community with numerous events and features for residents to take advantage of. I feel safe and happy here with my family. If the rare maintenance issue does come up, the 24 hour maintenance crew have taken care of us- A for Homecoming at Creekside.
I think this place is a great place to live. The floor plans are great, the amenities are awesome for the price you're paying, and there's a community watch program. The staff are very friendly and can help you as soon as possible when you have a problem. I moved from a very small farm town, and when I moved here I felt very safe.
The average work day can sometimes be a drag, getting up early to beat the morning traffic, doing the same tedious work day in and out, and at the end of the day sitting in traffic waiting to get home. Homecoming at Creekside is the perfect cure for this problem. My spacious apartment gives me and my family enough room to do all that we love, its a great area with amazing amenities. all the little things they offer like free movie rentals, game and movie nights, and free breakfast to go are what make homecoming at creekside such an amazing place to live and break up that rut of a normal work week.
I appreciate the ammenities that are readily availble to tenants. The grounds are very clean and well kept. There is also a prompt response to any apartment break fix issues that makes being a tenant enjoyable. It is a all in one facility!
Homecoming is the best place to live and raise kids. The area is very safe and the stuff provide lots of interesting and fun activities for the residents for free. I have lived at homecoming for 3 years now and I don't think i will find anything better then hear to live. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone that has kids. The playground and the swimming area is always clean and safe. Overall me and my family are very happy hear and we know of so many people that have lived hear for so long. Thank you.

Enjoy a movie whether its in the big room or check it out and watch at home. Kids? No problem! With a playground on site and an awesome kids club there is plenty for them to do as well. Pets? Compare to your current place - Free movie rental (they keep dvd and blu ray library stocked) - free meal at least 1 - 2 times a month - free excersize classes (yoga, boot camp, Zumba) - 24 hour gym - heated pool and a spa - sauna and shower room at gym - kids zone with ping pong and arts and crafts - library - large game lounge (adult feel) pool table, octagonal poker table - free computer and office center Have you put notice in at your place yet?!?! You should Sincerely, Your future neighbor
We've lived here almost 10 months and it's been great! The office staff have been helpful, as well as the maintanenece staff. The amenities are great 24 hour gym, heated pool, computer lab, and all of the stuff actually works! They also gatherings and activities for residents which are great opportunities to meet your neighbors. The location is near parks, trails, school, and the grocery store so very convienient! Totally recommended!
What a wonderful place to live. The neighbor are great. There is a safeway near by. Plenty of places to eat out. Near the freeway. Huge I mean huge park next door. Schools near by. Skatepark, dog park, and base ball diamonds. No disrespectful children around.
Quiet and good privacy. Convenient to freeways and shopping. Excellent gym and complex amentities. Only problem is the bug and insect problem. Spiders, crickets, beetles and roaches all throughout the complex. Pest control should be spraying on a more consistent basis.
Homecoming at Creekside is by far the best complex I've ever stayed. The staff is nice happy and helpful. I love and enjoy everything homecoming has to offer.
The townhouses are well maintained and the extracurricular activities are an added bonus. There is a 24 hr gym on site. They provide activities for children as well as yoga, zumba, neighborhood watch, and boot camp. They have a very friendly staff who actually remembers your name. I highly recommend the complex.
My roommate and I were looking for apartment for a couple months. We had about given up when we drove by and said "how about this place". The staff was so friendly and there is a large selection of layouts. The amenities of attached garages, full size washer and dryer, gym, pools, security, steam room, game room, library, are a huge plus. They also occasionally have food and gatherings at the club house which shows a nice sense of community. Any time I've had a maintainence need they've promptly fixed it and even gave us a brand new AC system to help with the summer heat.
I have lived at Homecoming @ Creekside since October 17, 2014. From my initial contact with the staff and up to this date, the staff at Homecoming have been excellent. The maintenance staff always responds to my maintenance needs in a timely manner. The office staff calls me every month to ensure that everything is OK with my unit and to see if there is anything that I need. I don't live in an apartment building, I live in a resort. We not only have the traditional swimming pool, we can check out bicycles, have a clubhouse, movie theater, players club, after school program, library, business center, full gym, free yoga and zumba classes, monthly events, free movie rentals, and conference room. We also have BBQ grills. All which can be used for free with the exception of the clubhouse. Living at Homecoming makes it enjoyable to come home after a long day at work. My apartment home is relaxing and have been kept in pristine condition. If you move to Homecoming at Creekside, you won't regret it. It is also only fifteen minutes from downtown Sacramento. If you are looking for a place to truly call home where you live in a resort setting and the staff treats you like royalty, then Homecoming at Creekside is the home for you.

My boyfriend and I have lived at Homecoming at Creekside in Sacramento, CA for almost 6 months now and couldn't be happier with our three-story town home style apartment! We were allowed to bring our cat with us (a huge relief) and able to move in just three weeks after first touring the complex! We use the fitness center and swimming pool religiously, are always greeted by the friendly staff whenever we see them around the property, and enjoy the amazing events held monthly! Homecoming at Creekside is conveniently located next to shopping, restaurants, major freeways, and is just a short 10 minute drive to the airport, it's truly hard to find something negative to say. If you live in the Sacramento area and are looking for a beautiful and fun new place to call home, I strongly encourage you to check out Homecoming at Creekside today!
The nicest apartment that we have lived so far. I like how the complex are all gated and should have your own key to be able to go inside. Close to everything we need. Looking forward in living here for years! and would highly recommend it!
I love living at Homecoming. I'm going on 4 years. It's a great quiet place to call home. I love the community. My home is a great place to call "home." I have started taking more advantage of the apartment amenities such as attending Taco Tuesday. The workout room is stellar and one of the top reasons I moved in here. There is also a great walking trail right outside the apartment that I hit up almost every morning/or evening. I had the opportunity to check out yoga a few weeks ago. I wish there was a few more options for the group workout such as a pilates class and maybe a Saturday class or two. I get busy during the week and don't always have the energy for the after work classes.
