As one of the major economic centers of Alabama and one of the signature cities of the Southeast, Birmingham has done an impressive job of adapting to the new demands of the 21st century. The city that once built a reputation as the “Pittsburgh of the South” thanks to a robust steel manufacturing industry is now a hip community attracting entrepreneurs, artists, and innovative personalities. Birmingham remains one of the most active business hubs in the region, with headquarters for everything from banks to biotech firms operating in the city.
The dining, nightlife, and entertainment scenes have all grown rapidly in recent years, and just about everyone in town has an opinion about where to find the best brewery. Gorgeously preserved historic buildings and a pervasive attitude of down-home hospitality have kept Birmingham’s famous southern charm intact as well, creating a unique environment where the best elements of the traditional and the modern complement each other.

Property Ratings at Homewood Townhouse Apartments
I live a unique lifestyle in my apartments. They were built in the late sixties. That is the era I grew up, so I feel right at home. The management is awesome. I have never had a maintenance problem they did not repair within one day. I would not want to live anywhere else.
Homewood Townhouse House Apartments sits in the middle of the beautiful town of Homewood Al. The apartments are beautifully landscaped every apt. has its own porch to entertain front and back. Upon entering at first glance it reminds you of home the beautiful hardwood floor the charming staircase. And a good amount of space where the possibilities are endless! The kitchen has space for storage, washer and dryer and top to bottom cabinets with a great hooded stove and refrigerator.Laminate wood floors with laminate wood counter to match and bright lights. The upstairs has great hardwood bedrooms with enough space for double beds and an arrangement of other furnishings top to bottom Windows beautiful lighting fixtures walk in closets. Bathroom is dainty enough the ladies or masculine enough for the guys it's up to you. There is also extra storage space for in the attic and on the back porch. With insight like this there's only 1 thing to say where do I sign.
I lived at this address for about a year, absolutely loved it! Yes, it was sort of loud living on valley ave. and the issue of backing out was sometimes problematic. This specific apartment was better than others in the neighborhood because it was between traffic lights and both lights can be seen when trying to back up, thus being easier. Great apartment to entertain in and can have lots of people over without it feeling cramped. Huge master bedroom, medium second bedroom, and tiny, but functional bathroom. Great water pressure and tons of storage!!!!!! The pantry is huge too!!!! Lots of windows in this endunit so lots of natural light, but the windows are older and not sealed well, thus letting in heat and cold. Great place to live, and being an end unit means more space than the other units inside and out!!!!
