Victorian architecture and brick-paved sidewalks … the Gaslamp Quarter and the coast … palm trees and balmy ocean breezes … stunning mountain views and historic sites … it’s no wonder San Diego is the nation’s eighth-largest city. If you want to live in the very heart of this large, dynamic city, find your apartment in Downtown San Diego!
Downtown San Diego contains the central business district, or the Core District, as well as East Village, the historic Gaslamp Quarter, Cortez Hill, Columbia, Seaport Village, Marina, and Little Italy. The problem won’t be finding San Diego apartments – it will be deciding in which fantastic district to live. The historic Gaslamp Quarter is a Historic District dating back to 1867. The nearly 100 Victorian buildings contain a variety of shops, restaurants, and nightclubs. If you are looking for a trendy loft in a historic warehouse, head to East village, San Diego’s largest downtown neighborhood.

Property Ratings at Horton 4th Avenue
I don't know who wrote the glowing reviews, but they're false. There isn't in-unit laundry or underground parking for one. And the homeless population is large.
The accessibility was key here along with laundry in unit and underground parking. My questions and needs were always answered in a timely fashion by Janine who was so pleasant to work with. Highlight suggest living here
I love this community. I feel safe and never have any issues with homeless, especially being downtown. Janine made the move-in process so easy for me! I would recommend 10/10.
The staff was quick in responses and provided welcoming services.

Horton 4th apartments not only have beautiful apartments but the real hero of the place is THE STAFF, they are friendly and extremely accommodating. Debbie is the best.
Living here has been amazing. Having a washer and dryer in my unit and parking is so beneficial here. Also management knowing all their residents on a first name basis is great customer service.
Love it here. Been here for 7 years. Debbie is the best.
Its great here. Problems always fixed in a timely and professional manner
I dont think Horton is a place most people get in cause availability is limited and its the best place to live in San Diego. The staff are polite and professional, the location is premiere and its luxury living with people who care.
Great location right in the center of the Gas Lamp. Noisy on weekend nights but you get use to it, it's downtown! Great management staff in the office, always ready to help. Secure parking and pass code entrances are a great feature.
In a great location- the heart of downtown San Diego. However, it can be a bit noisy due to the fact you're in the middle of Downtown but another pro- lots of places to eat and everything is within walking distance. Property manager is awesome. She is very friendly and accommodating. I was worried about the nose level so she let me sing a 6 month lease term instead of 12 month with no extra money.
