A resurrected beauty located on the corner of Front Street and Short Street, The America Building (previously the Ross Building) provides a creative alternative for your urban lifestyle. Distinction is drawn from the playful use of color, character, and contemporary vibe that manifest themselves in the spirit of Laissez-Faire. Its reclaim on life fosters an atmosphere of acceptance while creating the kind of work-live-play place that seeks those who embrace the fact that we can change the world. John Carter was a distinguished gentleman whose name was synonymous with stalwart character and a rich love for Hattiesburg. It’s in this spirit that the magnificent building which bears his name will be resurrected to reflect its original strength and beauty. Located on the corner of Front Street and Main Street, The Carter Building’s (previously the Faulkner Building) handsome stature and strapping details portray a confidence and purpose as resolute as the revitalization of Downtown Hattiesburg itself.

Small-town southern charm and a collegiate energy define the city of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. A quaint city on Interstate 59 just north of the De Soto National Forest, residents have unbeatable access to hiking, camping, canoeing, fishing, horseback-riding, and all of the outdoor adventures you can think of. The northwestern corner of Hattiesburg revolves around the University of Southern Mississippi, a thriving institution and a cultural hub for the community.
Locals head to this campus to cheer on the Golden Eagles at Roberts Stadium, admire the All-American Rose Garden, or catch a live performance at Bennett Auditorium. This city boasts a vibrant nightlife scene with restaurants, patio bars, breweries, and lively nightclubs. As you make your way a few blocks from the Southern Miss campus, you’ll be surprised to find tree-shaded suburban streets and tranquil city parks. This relaxing atmosphere is perfect for families or residents looking for a bit of suburban seclusion.

Property Ratings at Hub City Lofts
The lofts are so beautiful with the high ceilings. I also like that all the kitchen appliances are included. The brick accent walls add another dimension to the over all look and feel of the loft. The black and white tile in the baths give the bath a real cute Art-Deco look. Anyone looking for a place to live in Hattiesburg needs to check out Hub City.
