Sandwiched between Fort Worth and Dallas, Arlington is part of the massive DFW Metroplex. This big (even by Texas standards), busy, thriving city is home to some powerhouse locations, including the University of Texas at Arlington, AT&T Stadium (home of the Dallas Cowboys), Globe Life Park (home of the Texas Rangers), Six Flags Over Texas, and Hurricane Harbor. These, along with Texas Health Resources, General Motors Arlington Assembly, and GM Financial, are some of the city's largest employers.
With so much happening in and around this active, dynamic metropolis, you'll never sit around your Arlington apartment wondering what to do. Head to the Arlington Museum of Art or the International Bowling Museum, visit the Village Creek Historical Area or SW Nature Preserve, go hiking at River Legacy Parks, see the animals at the Fort Worth Zoo, and go shopping at Grand Prairie Premium Outlets or the Parks at Arlington.

Property Ratings at Hudson Apartments
My review is based on the apartment property manager not assisting with helping residents move out or move to a unit with no roach activity ! I was promised a move out and then later they told I couldn’t and I just want to be out this apartment due to the roach infestation! It’s too much then us the residents pay for pest control but clearly there not doing what needs to be done because there are still ROACHES!
Terrible the office people have no concern what so ever sometimes they answer there phone most of the time they don't when I get the chance to move away I'm gone from here I hate these apartments they office people sucks rude better believe me and don't move here. I pay my rent every month automatic ok I mind my business I don't complain constantly but when there's a issue I do complain cause they ignore your issue your work orders stay on there site forever if you go to office to put in work order or mention it has not been done they act like they writing it down but they not I'm going to talk to someone about the issues I have with authority
DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! The absolute worst property I have ever stayed at. I moved in in May, and the day of moving in, my apartment was not ready. I was told they would have everything fixed in two days. It was not fixed. There is visible water damages throughout my apartment. Severe roach infestation. A lot of the kitchen appliances were broken. I reported all of these issues in my move in checklist and through online maintenance request. However only one thing has been resolved out of the multiple issues I have reported. My mailbox key does not work, and it was reported and told it would be resolved, however it still has not been fixed. It has been three weeks since I have spoke with the office about my mold issue that was there before move in, and maintenance caught an attitude when asked about an ETA. I had a vehicle towed two weeks ago, and when I spoke with the office, they stated that none of my vehicles had been registered, and they had advised that they went ahead and registered my vehicles that day. But this weekend, my other vehicle was towed, and I was informed the office put it under "visitors parking" instead of registering it, like they had told me they did when my first vehicle was towed. The office isn't open until 10am, which is very inconvenient considering of the fact that they never answer the phone, so i'm not able to speak with anyone about my issues via phone or in the office. Why do tenants have to uphold their lease agreement but apartments do not??? Why am I paying rent to live somewhere that is hazardous to me and my pets? Do NOT move here unless you want to deal with your car being towed every other week and not being able to get it back, and dealing with maintenance issues that will never be fixed. Or if you want to deal with negligent leasing staff, and maintenance.
I stay at these apartments right now, can’t wait to move been here since April of this year, The visitor parking rules is ridiculous you can only registered the same car 3 times a week, If you have the same person come over a lot, this is not the place for you. I promise you. My girl car got towed cost me 356.60.
I was particularly attracted to this property because they had a special going of first month free. I booked a showing and when I arrived I was told that the special is half off second month. Also, the the additional fees which are not included on here. It’s $350 for Admin and deposit. The info on here was incorrect, it never mentions admin fee. The complex also charges $120 additional per month for trash, water, garbage, security, and package collection services. Like I mentioned before very misleading. Additionally, they only have one of the floor plans staged to show. When there are at least 3-6 different floor plans. It all was just very disappointing. I declined the showing because it was not the floor plan I was interested in renting.

Worst apartment complex in Arlington. Since moving in I've complained multiple times to the front office about roaches and they have yet to fix the problem. The water is constantly getting shut off at the worst time of the day and they have five pools that they have recently just opened. There is a 250 dollar fee you pay every month to the apartment and there are still no good updates. I pay a pest control fee and I still have roaches all around my apartment. It doesn't help that they literally come out while cooking or baking, so I've stopped cooking completely. I've even tried getting rid of them myself, but its like they continue to multiply over night.

Worst apartments I have ever stayed. They don’t even care to answers the call or even they don’t reply you back. I called them over 100 times and every time the call will go to their voice mail. I just moved in to this apartments a month ago and I said fee items weren’t working and I gave them the list no one responded yet those are not emergency so I thought it can be done in couple of days. But from three days there was a water outage and no one responds to that. Even I raised couple of requests and no one took care of that. I don’t get one thing how can someone stay without water. If I go to the leasing office they are closed all the times. Don’t get fooled by looking at the vacant apartments everyone knows about their service and no one is willing to rent this community. Looking forward to cancel the lease and move to a nee place. I don’t have option to give 0 stars that I’d the reason I gave them 1 star.

It's sad to see this place go downhill everyday. careless and rude property management staff. If you don't want to feel frustrated everyday... don't move in :)
please spend your money somewhere else. The upkeep is terrible. The pools are green. trash is everywhere. the office staff is unresponsive. Maintenance orders do not get filled. I am very disappointed with the way this property is managed.

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you're not enjoying your experience with us. Our team is experiencing supply and staffing shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We understand that waiting for a request to be completed is frustrating and apologize for the inconvenience. Our team is working diligently to get to all requests in a timely manner and asks for your patience during these uncertain times.
Wow, where to begin. This "gated community in the heart of Arlington" is neither gated nor anywhere near 'the heart' of Arlington. The leasing agents will do anything to convince you that this place is nice. GATE - I was told I would receive a gate remote when I moved in and checked back over and over, the gates didn't close once. Some reckless driver in their modded-out, low-riding, bass-blasting Chrysler 300 actually smashed the back gate off the rails months ago and it still hasn't been fixed. This Property can't even maintain the big "H" sign out front as their residents destroy it every couple months with their unmaintained vehicles. WATER- The hot water here is a boiler system. This is a great feature as you don't have to pay for electricity to heat your own water BUT the boiler system is constantly on the fritz. The management will occasionally send out a typo-riddled mass text message letting residents know that they are aware of the issue, but usually you find out by not being able to take a warm shower before or after work. RENOVATIONS - Every unit at this property has popcorn ceilings, collecting dust and raining plaster on everything under the roof when noisy neighbors are making a ruckus. The counter-tops are composite stone, not granite so don't be fooled. And the laminate flooring has waves from the poor construction. My sink fell completely through the counter and it took maintenance 2 hours to arrive. Don't even think about calling them for something that isn't an absolute emergency. AMENITIES/FACILITIES - The "resort-style swimming pools" and "fitness center" upon which the Property convinces people to lease were closed the entire time that I lived at this property, 13 months, and they still aren't open. "Due to COVID" said management. It is absolutely a cost-cutting measure and the pools haven't been maintained at all since their closure. PESTS/NEIGHBORS - I had a severe small-roach problem while I lived here and they would be everywhere. I even had one in my bed. Management charges a pest control fee monthly and didn't come out to help once. I ended up using countless chemicals to get the problem under control; another expense on top of the outrageously high rent.

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you're not enjoying your home here. Our property strives to tackle every request in a timely manner and is on a priority-level response in an attempt to limit the exposure of COVID-19. The amenities will be reopened when it is safe to do so. We hope to get back to normal as soon as possible and understand your frustration.
The apartments look great from the outside, but whenever I need a repair, the residential portal is like a black whole. Either they ignore the request or close it without communicating why. If they finally acknowledge a repair request, they half way do job and have to come back again. The potholes in the apartments are all over the place just like the dog crap that’s never picked up. I’m moving as soon as possible.

Thanks for reaching out. During this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Hudson is taking extra precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and residence. To minimize the impact of exposure, we are pausing all non-emergency maintenance requests. We are sorry for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience during these uncertain times. If you have questions on what qualifies as an emergency or if your work order is an emergency, please reach out to our office.
Went to visit this property 3x’s. There was always run around and miscommunication in the office. We were scheduled to look at an unit today but when we got there they had no unit to show. We’ve been waiting for this unit for 2 weeks now. Staff assured us they’ll have a number of them to show. However, nothing to show. Office staff didn’t even offer to show us other units or remedy the situation. If we experienced this and we’re not tenants I can only imagine how they feel when they experience an issue
i can't wait to move , don't even waste your money or time . worst management and maintenance.
..I've lived in this place for 10 years, I've had very few bad experiences, but this last administration is the worst. They are not pending to solve the damages that are caused in the apartments. They don't have a good maintenance group. The manager is rude and impolite. Those in the office are friendly but the only thing they answer is that they are going to put the report. That very belatedly resolve. They have a problem in this apartment complex with the water. Putting ourselves in danger of sanitation, it leaves constantly and also the hot water is damaged since they always say that it is a leak and make small arrangements. Not giving a real solution. Please do not be fooled with showing them remodeled and beautiful aparments .........Llevo 10 años viviendo en este lugar , he tenido muy pocas malas experiencias , pero esta última administración es la peor .
i moved here and they are horrible, please don't waste your money

I had an unforeseen circumstance come up, and with one phone call they were able to turn everything around!! And believe it or not, their excellence didn't stop there. After their shift, they even came and helped me furthermore resolve the issue ( Which I was not expecting at all). THAT IS WHAT I CALL GOING THE EXTRA MILE. I would also like to give THANKS to Crystal and Alex who constantly demonstrate TRUE PROFESSIONALISM!!!
Property Manager at Hudson Apartments, Responded To This Review
Thank you so much for the five stars! We are so glad to learn that you have had a positive experience with our team! Thanks again for the positive feedback. Best,The Hudson Management
I lived for a year in this place and it was a nightmare. The manager is super rude and never solved any of my problems. I was constantly complaining about my downstairs neighbor who would listen to very loud music almost everyday and nothing was ever done. The apartment smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. They constantly shut down the water services. I never felt safe in this place. The best day of my lease with The Hudson was my moving out day. If you want to have peace of mind do not rent here.
Apartments are not worth the money that you pay. Newly renovated apartments but done but the maintenance guys who are friendly but don't seem like they know what they are doing. Front office just simply does not care about concerns and needs. For the money you'll spend here you're better off going somewhere else. Can't wait for my lease to expire and move somewhere else.
Save yourself the headaches later on, and spend the extra money to stay elsewhere.
This place is a mess. Pay a little extra and go elsewhere. Maintenance is friendly, but when they can't resolve an issue it's up to the office manager. The office associates and manager do absolutely zero to help, and you are inconvenienced. Meanwhile you have a contract that not even death lets you out of, and management knows that, so you are stuck in less than desirable conditions. Don't be fooled by a newly remodeled sales office with ice cold ac blowing, it's all a front for the property that lies behind. Save yourself the headaches, and rent elsewhere.
Hudson property management has a great customer service, they're friendly and accomodating to their customers. Property are maintained, clean and a safe area to live.
Ive been here for over 5 years and have witness these apartments undergo 3 different managers and it gets worst ever time. The apartments are not up to date but they paint them only to raise the rent. Takes them forever to answer the phone or fix anything. Its just a hot mess and i cant wait to move once my lease is up.
I have been a 8 1/2 years and have had no problems. Management have completed some amazing upgrades to the apartments. We have 5 pool areas that are awesome, along with a great workout facility, and not to mention there is a Full Size Washer and Dryer in every single unit,Tennis Court, blocks from shopping areas and restaurants, and blocks from the Texas Rangers Stadium and the AT&T Stadium . As you can do there is sonething truly special about this place because I'm a living example I've been here 8 1/2 years and just renewed my lease.
Forest Ridge apartments is HUGE. Basically a little village. We had 3 problems in our apartment that were all fixed in the same day. 5 pools that never seem to be insanely busy, it's quiet for the most part and spacious living. Our kitchen is outdated but aside from that everything is aesthetically pleasing and stable.
When I first moved here, it took all of 3-4 hours to get me applied/approved for these apartments. I moved here over a year ago from another state with my five year old son. The first apartment complex I moved in was roach infested and I had to take them to court to get out of my lease. In the meantime, I found these apartments. It's been great so far! In fact, I've renewed my lease. They do a lot for their community, ie; events for family and friends, holiday emails, encouraging emails, etc. I am extremely terrified of bugs and since I've been here, I haven't seen any. They've done a great job taking care of their tenants. They keep the complex clean, the staff is fun and very enjoying to be around. I honestly feel like they gave me a chance being that I had just moved here with nothing or no one. I was new to everything and to find a place to call home has been nothing but a peace of mind. They have on site officers and on site securities so that you are safe. They also do valet trash!!!! :-) On a hot sunny day or even a cold winters day, you do not have to step foot to take out the trash. For the ladies, this is definitely helpful for us lol especially us single ladies, we don't have to lift a finger. This is why I chose Forest Ridge Apartments.
This aparrment i have been staying in ia by far the best apartment ive ever stayed in my whole intire life. The 3 years ive been stayin here ive gotten a free rug shampoo every lease renewal an also there has been no maintance issues with my unit so far. I enjoy the greater living of forestridge apartmnents here in arlington tx. I will recommend any family or friends to stay at forest ridge apartmnents.
I recently graduated college and I was beyond over the "college living" life with ROOMATES! I found the apartments just by looking online and was a bit skeptical by the reviews. As soon as I stepped into the apartment office facility, my skeptical thoughts were gone. The staff is extremely helpful and heartfelt. They made sure I knew every detail from top to bottom about the Apartments as well as the surroundings near by. They treated me like I was apart of their family from the start. That is exactly how you draw a future resident in. Since then, I am enjoying my aparment. It feels good having my own place, as well has having a office team that make sure their residents are appreciated and are comfortable. I commend them 100%!,
I have been here since 2009 , I love the location even if the rent went up . The managment work hard by doing their best to keep it runing smooth. Nice place to be . MK
I’ve been job coaching teens and young adults on delivering good service to customers, for years now. Therefore, I notice this type of stuff in my sleep and don’t give credit unless it’s due! ;) Anyhoo, while out on personal girl time with a friend and Leasing Agent (Ms. Cromartie). She mentioned having to make a “quick stop” at her job, before we go hang out. :/ Upon our projected quick arrival and departure; my dear friend quickly observed a leasing office w/ a notable amount of tenants, waiting in the lobby for services. With no hesitation, the five star employee (Ms. Cromartie) dropped her purse and offered her professional assistance to her busy co-workers and jumped right in servicing the congested lobby, until it was all cleared out! Although, I was a bit anxious to hang out; I genuinely stood by with patience and a smile... ;) Her natural reaction was indeed notable and spoke volume to me and the potential Forest Ridge residents waiting on service. ;) Ms. Cromartie is a jewel and showed real passion for the reputation of her Forest Ridge team. She’s naturally selfless and holds all the qualities of an excellent customer service representative! We did finally make it out to dine and had a great time! The service world appreciates quality people and she’s one of them! Just thought I’d share my notable Forest Ridge experience. ~Quality Property and Service Team!
Nice cozy place to call home and the staff are very friendly. Dealt with roach issues but they fixed the problem!
Ive lived in forest ridge for years. Always changing management . Forest ridge has great maintenance and always has events for residents
My husband and I moved to Forest Ridge Apartments June, 2009. We have been treated with the upmost respect, and whenever we need anything fixed within our apartment, the response is always within a timely manner. The office staff members are always friendly and very professional at. Anytime, I have a concern, they ensure that the matter is taken care of without hesitation. I cannot think of anything negative to write about Forest Ridge Apartments, and I would highly recommend this complex to anyone who’s seeking a quality apartment life.
Pros: This apartment complex is clean and good about taking care of any maintenance request in a timely manner. I have only been here a few weeks but I enjoy the area. Staff are friendly and helpful and the pool area is small but nice. The apartment has no major issues and looks newly remodeled. Good place at a descent price. Cons: Although staff are friendly and helpful, they are bad about returning calls and/or messages. The walls can be fairly thin and if you are in a room that is next to the stairwell or hallway you can hear every footstep and every conversation, which isn't too bad considering it's a fairly quiet community.
These apartments are great. There are 5 pools none of which seem overly busy, a dog park, tennis courts, and a volley ball court. The apartment complex is huge and for the most part quiet. The staff has been friendly and helpful but we don't go to them for much. I haven't found anything wrong other than our plumbing kind of sucks. One side of the sink leaks, our toilet is a 50/50 chance whatever you deposited will be whisked away, and our shower had a hard time draining (3$ worth of drano fixed this issue) so literally if it wasn't for the plumbing I wouldn't have a complaint. 7/10 would recommend.
