Property Ratings at Hudson Harbour
Bathtub, toilet and sinks filled with wastewater over 20 times while I lived there. Flooded entire bathroom. They could not fix the problem and would not adequately reimburse me for damages. Worst place I've ever lived.
The day I moved in, I found my toilet backed up, and the bathtub wouldn't drain. Ever. Multiple tickets, video proof, etc., and they just shrug. My apartment smells like an ashtray because someone smokes inside, and once again, management just sorta shrugs. Worst place I've lived, and I'm absolutely furious to pay outrageous rent, only to have an apartment that is barely usable.
While my holding fee was pending on my application, the room was given to someone else, so it was not taken into consideration at all. I’m asking for some kind of refund, and I haven’t received any response so far from management.
This is a terrible place to live they take care of nothing say it’s a pet friendly environment but the won’t turn on the air conditioning THAT WE HAVE TO PAY FORE ANYWAY they never fix anything my washing machine has broken 3 times and it takes weeks they are truly the worst I had to take my dogs to the vet on 3 separate occasions because they don’t turn the air conditioner on till late May it’s really a bad place. P.s. you will not see a dime of you’re security
The apartment was fine. The maintenance and office staff were also very considerate when there was any problem. However, the company that owns these apartments is absolutely ridiculous with their fees and charges. They charge $350 redecoration fee and $75 turn over fee (which they subtract from your security deposit), and that is if they can’t find anything wrong with your apartment. The security deposit is crazy high ($400). I have stayed in numerous apartments but nothing has been this crazy. For the standard of the apartment, their fees treat it like it’s some extremely high quality place. If you don’t mind paying all this, then go ahead. I wouldn’t for what I’m getting.
very bad place to live, you will never get any of your deposit back.any place is better than here.so many people have moved away from this place.
Hudson Harbour is a great place to rent. Located just of rt 9, the apts are conveniently located but have a quiet, secluded feel. Hudson Harbour is pet friendly, for a small additional fee. There is a fitness center as well. The apts have a washer and dryer located in the apt. No need to carry your laundry around! For those with children, there is a playground as well. I've only had to contact the maintenance crew for 2 minor issues but the response was immediate. Hudson Harbour is a great place to live. I looked at many other apartments in the Poughkeepsie area and nothing else compares to Hudson Harbour.
