Fort Lee is a suburban borough located where the New Jersey Turnpike meets the George Washington Bridge, right across the river from Washington Heights. The combination of excellent public schools, very low crime, and easy access to Manhattan make Fort Lee a highly popular location for commuters raising families.
The center of town is filled by a large shopping and dining district anchored by the Oaktree Mall, which draws large crowds from the surrounding communities. Fort Lee Historic Park and the Hudson Palisades cover much of the borough’s waterfront area, providing scenic views and tranquil natural environments for your leisure time. Rental rates can be rather steep, but there are numerous apartments, condos, and houses in the borough that are quite affordable.

Property Ratings at Hudson Lights
This building has to be the worse I moved in here last year thinking it was nice and it was at first but then I started dealing with a bunch of issues constantly. The elevators would go down and no one in management would answer until they feel like it. I stopped paying rent for a month because I wanted them to fix my unit now I’m in a legal court case that they will not dismiss even though I ended up paying and am now up to date you have to literally have to harass them for everything. Why! I never dealt with such a terrible management company ever in my life
The only positive aspects of this building are its doormen and location, both of which are exceptional, being centrally situated in Fort Lee. However, the overall living experience has been quite unpleasant. Maintenance issues take an average of two weeks to a month to be addressed. When moving in for the first month, I encountered a bathroom leak that rendered the shower unusable for two months. The elevator breaks down on a monthly basis. The air condition in the gmy never got fixed. There are undoubtedly better housing options available around this area, and I am regret signing a lease with this apartment.
Living in this apartment is great. Staffs are nice. I like to location the most. Only concern is elevator and parking entrance machine. Elevator is out of service quite often and parking entrance machine has problem quite often as well. Besides these, everything is perfect.
I just moved here last week and I was pretty bitter about leaving NYC but everything is great between the beautiful apartment, beautiful building, friendly staff, and gym. I cold too have made a better living choice ??
The location of the apartment is awesome to say less. You can find everything at walking distance
2 elevators for thousands of people. Sometimes only one works. When busy, you will not be able to get the elevator for 10-15 minutes. Not recommended
Great management and front desk team. Working to provide a Safe, Clean, and Friendly experience, as the Hudson Lights team works to ensure a quality of life environment, even in a pandemic. Not easy task.
I would highly recommend. I brag about my apartment all the time!
The only issue with the apartment is the space is quite small (which we knew before moving in) and the walls are PAPER thin. We can hear the neighbor's baby crying at night every night.
The apt speaks for itself essentially. Outdoor spacing is huge and a very nice addition to the already well lit apt.
Their customer service is very bad. I called them 2 times about leasing, they told me they are going to call back and arrange me a tour. After 3 days I went there, they took my number and email address, and also told me that they are going to arrange a tour. As you understand, they didn’t do it. So this building is not what it seems to be.
Staff are all polite and aim to please. Had an easy time dealing with on-boarding through the leasing office. Unit is lovely and was in excellent shape upon move in. Everyone has been responsive to our needs.
We actually just finished signing our lease for an apartment at Hudson Lights. Loved the building and apartment layouts. Amenities are great and the location is perfect for us. Wish parking was bit less expensive but overall the value is great.
I feel safe. It's quiet. Respectful neighbors (on my floor). Hallways are clean. Management strictly enforces the no smoking rule.
