Property Ratings at Hoboken South Waterfront
It’s clear the other reviews on here were written by management, so I hope this review helps people to not be tricked. After the first year they will raise your rent at least 4%. If there is an issue with the apartment you will have to go back and forth forever to prove your case to get it fixed. One elevator (out of the two) is down on a weekly basis. You can’t (or at least I and multiple others) drink the water as it makes us sick (not sure if this is because of the plumbing system or more to do with the source). Management will do awfully cheap renovations right before it’s time to renew the lease and pass the cost on to the tenants. Apartments are outdated and there are better options in the area for the price. This building as become so overpriced that you’d be much better finding something in the city.
Hey there! I'm 27 years old, work full time in manhattan in sales for a tech-start up. My current apartment is pretty amazing! It's an elevator building just a couple blocks from the PATH train and one block off the main drag of Hoboken, Washington Street. It's a three bedroom, two bathroom apartment with a HUGE living room. The living room gets amazing sunlight as do the bedrooms - all of which can fit queen size beds a dresser and come with good closet space. This place is pretty amazing, it has a sister property across the street with a concierge staff that takes all packages for you. The unit comes with a 2 in 1 W/D and dishwasher, as well as a laundry room on the first floor. The building also offers a parking garage to residents as well as a well maintained courtyard as you enter the building.
This apartment building has got it all! Only one block from the waterfront in Hoboken - directly across from the Empire State building - and just 3 short blocks from the PATH station into NYC, this buildings location is ideal. Surrounded by great restaurants, parks and shopping, each apartment has a spacious floorplan and the building has its own courtyard where tenants frequently relax outside. With a great price on a great building, you cant say no to a pet friendly place with a washer/dryer in each unit!
Nice, bright, and clean apartments in the heart of the city. Not the latest amenities.
