Quiet Neighborhood in the heart of Arlington
I've lived in the apartment complex for about 1 month. So far I love it here! I've made a list of pros and cons for your consideration: Pros: Quiet, tree-lined street Close to all the bars 2 blocks from Clarendon Metro 4-5 blocks from George Mason Arlington Campus 2 blocks from a giant dog park All utilities (not internet/cable) included in rent 1 free parking spot Lots of square footage Cheap rent relative to other apartments in the area Lots of storage space (2 closets in the bedroom, 2 coat closets and a linen closet) Cons Will not waive move-in fees for good credit applicants Older building Small bathroom Not all apartments have a renovated kitchen/flooring Washer-Dryer not in unit (though I use a wash and fold service) Can hear creaking of boards in floors above you No central A/C (they have in wall units which works just fine. And since they pay electric bill, I usually have it set to 68 degrees during the summer and have it running all day)
