Property Ratings at Hunt Club Apartments
Manager is AWFUL and really rude to you. Save the headache with all of the problems in the buildings, listen to these negative reviews, they’re right!! I’ve been here 6 years just because the rent is cheap but I promise you it’s not worth it.
The new manager has lost my rent payment twice and put evictions notices on my door after my rent was paid directly to him both times and then proceeds to get a attitude with me bc of his mistakes. He's awful to deal with and should honestly be fired. He's a joke
The list is too long on the negative things about the place so here are just a few examples. If it floods (due to outdated lines and not the tenant) expect your electric bill to sky rocket... they will just run fans instead of replacing the carpet even if the professionals say it needs replaced... If your windows are bad (which from what other tenants tell me they all are) they won't replace them but they will remove the office... Basically if you need something done they won't do it but they will raise your rent. I suggest looking into everything you need to know about renters escrow and start right away on those steps just in case you need to start one because they seem to have no intention on doing their part but will threaten to kick you out over minor things. Then again my real suggestion is DO NOT LIVE AT THE HUNT CLUB. It is practically a slum.
Where do I start? No secure entry. Only a single deadbolt protecting your apartment. Neighbors are loud at all hours of the day. Windows pour in water everytime it rains. Ceilings mold because pipes keep breaking because the building is old. Sinks back up constantly because all the pipes are clogged. Ceilings and floors are PAPER thin. Carpet and vinyl flooring is ruined after a little over a year even with professional cleaning. Parking spots are extremely narrow. Your car will get dings and dents and people will hit your car and not care!!! Parking permits are not followed. Everyone parks everywhere and you’re LUCKY if you can find a spot out by the main road (aka visitor parking). New management is a nightmare. She has no idea what’s going on with the property. Rent increases a decent amount every year with NO renovations whatsoever. The ONLY good thing here is the maintenance guy Aaron and he’s leaving! RENTER BEWARE IT ISN’T WORTH IT!
I live here for 5yrs now and management have been good to me and my wife. Ms. Krista is a person who I feel is very easy to talk too, any question we have she answer, any problems she get it fix in a timely manor. I will never give a 5 stars to anyone because no one is perfect that's me, so 4 strong stars to Ms. Krista. Now about parking, the spaces are to close together they need to have a Foot more space in between them, my car seem to have a new nick on it every day from people trying to get in and out of their cars and truck.I know I nick some by mistake.
Maintenance don't believe in salting during winter! I myself have fell along with my 4yr old! They don't do anything to update apartments and the new manager is not personable and acts like your bothering her when you have complaints or questions!
Everyone there smokes in their apartment and it would smell up my apartment. People were also loud at all hours of the night. The price was really nice. I wouldn’t suggest these apartments to anyone unless they were only there to sleep. Parking was horrible and no one would care how they parked their vehicles, as they would take up multiple spots.
The new manager is a thief does not know how to talk to tenants. Trying to charge tenants fees for things that has nothing to do with the tenants. Police is out in the apartments every other night.
Nothing special or anything to rave about of course but they are perfectly decent for a first apartment or one person or even a couple looking for their first place. Mostly quiet with my experience. Seems safe but the front door to the building isn’t locked so anyone can come in, just keep your individual apt. Locked at all times. Laundry on site is nice. Parking spots are super small and people will park so that you don’t have enough room to get in your car. More annoying of an issue then you’d think. Overall, does the job for a very fair price for being in sylvania and is close to lots of stuff.
These apartments are great starter apartments, for someone who has just retired or for a single person with one income. The rent isn't asking for too much and the apartments are very nice and definitely manageable. I recommend them to any one really when they tell me they are looking.
We are under new management, and she's awesome! She's really gets things done when you ask! It's pretty peaceful and quite here. The people are friendly. The apartments are clean, very nice looking. My husband and I love it here. The pool here is very clean and kept up nicely. The landscape is well taken care of. And actually really pretty. The pet policy isn't bad either. And the rent is pretty reasonable! It's really safe here too. Over all it's a great place to live!
Great looking very clean and nice very great not badly priced
I didn't really care for them all that much. the staff seemed stuffy and I didn't think they cared that much.
This place in my honest opinion is not good. Not going to specify my situation but I have good reason to not like it. The walls are also just about paper thin I can hear everything my upstairs neighbors do and they often wake myself and my son up in the middle of the night.
I have enjoyed my time here as a new renter. Noise is a little loud, but manageable. It's a great place for newly independent young adults.
Had an apartment for 1 year, 10 months ( paying extra each month after the first full year, even though I could give them the date I no longer needed the apartment.). Only used it, at most, every other weekend when I had my kid from a divorce situation. Sometimes not even that often. Left apartment spotless with absolutely zero damage...not even a paint chip. It has been two months...have left phone message and email, and I have yet to receive my security deposit (full month rent) or key deposit (yeah...more money to have a key to the pool and laundry room, which I never used - brought sheets and towels back to my house in Columbus). I have yet to see any of my deposits...2 months later. Guess you have to take legal action to resolve. Good luck to those of you who actually live there and maybe have normal wear and tear....you will never see your security deposits again.
