Baytown presents a thriving residential area with an emphasis on family life. This community offers a balance between a quiet suburban lifestyle and the energetic ambition that comes with ample business opportunities. Speaking of – the city’s economy relies strongly on petroleum production.
Located by the water, Baytown’s Houston Ship Channel is one of the neighborhood’s biggest attractions. The nearby nature center is a sight to see and home to hundreds of land and aquatic animal species. When you’re not at home in your apartment, the Downtown Arts District has a number of culture programs like the Baytown Little Theatre, which has been run exclusively by volunteers for over 50 years.
In the event you’re not outside enjoying the bay views, you might be shopping at the San Jacinto Mall or lavishing in the comforts of your Baytown home.

Property Ratings at Hunt Garden Apartments
BEWARE OF THESE GARBAGE APARTMENTS!! This place is so OLD and MUSTY , there was constantly LEAKS during our year here. The apartments burned down during the freeze and there was so many cats and pests afterwards. After moving out we received a bill of almost 1,000 dollars in 'repairs' when we gave 400 dollars for regular deposit plus another 300 dollars for pet deposit. Mind you the apartment we moved into we never got to see in person prior to moving otherwise we would have never lived there. The screen door was broken when we moved in, there was constantly pests to the point where I had to buy my own pest control. DO NOT MOVE HERE
Lived here for 2 years. Supper quit and affordable living. Professional staff and great maintenance keep up.
Can’t find one nice thing to say about this place. Unprofessional in all aspects at this place. Find a better spot.
Property Manager at Hunt Garden Apartments, Responded To This Review
I am so sorry you feel that way and would love to know what bad experience you had here to see if there was some way to rectify the situation.
One of the best things about Hunt Garden Apartments, is that it's very well maintained! Not only that, but it's probably the best maintained apartments in Baytown! Grounds are very well kept and I see groundskeepers here at least once a week. At dusk, the complex is very well lit, plenty of parking spaces, and I've never encountered any unsavory visitors. The manager, Olga, has been very understanding, professional, cordial, and has taken care of my concerns. When I was unwittingly loud at one time, Olga approached me about it diplomatically, and we've became more acquainted since then. When I had some minor issues with the new bathroom doors not closing shut, they've fixed them and now the doors close shut perfectly. Would I recommend this place to live? Absolutely!
I love living at Hunt Garden Apartments. My one bedroom apartment has washer dryer connections and the bathroom is a nice size. I have a very nice fireplace and love the appearance of the apartment. The appliances all look new and there is ample counter space in the kitchen. The grounds are well kept and it is a quite place to live. The nice size pool is salt water, which I like. The location is perfect for me and is in a great area of Baytown. I would definitely recommend Hunt Garden Apartments to anyone looking for a great place to live.
Location-right of the Main St and Garth Rd I-10 Exits. Across the street from the mall and 3 minute drive to everything: Walmart, Best Buy, Target, restaurants, Kroger. Walking distance to Buffalo Wild Wings in case you want to get your drink on. Great Value-Factors like price, quality, location, and service make it by far the best value. Great Service- Staff are very friendly and fix problems within a few days of request. Always room for improvement- I'm sure everyone would love to be able to pay rent using a debit or credit card. This option easier and might reduce late payments especially if their is an automatic payment option. It's more convenient for me and I would get my mile points. That would be awesome : )
Great place to live! Very peaceful. Great location close to almost everything

I love my new apartment. Small community but very well kept. Community is also very quiet and peaceful day & night. Just 2 blocks away from highway I10 . All the great restaurants you can think of just on light away, walking distance. Great place to live at. Loving It!!!
I love living at Hunt Garden. I have been here 3 mo. I had a few inconvenient issues at first, but management took care of them right away. The grounds are very nice & the pool is right out my back windows. There are a lot of trees & the complex is very appealing & it is in a good location. Baytown is growing fast & several new businesses will be opening in the future that will be close to me. I have lived in apartments for over 40 years & Hunt Garden is one of my favorites.
