They leave fake 5 star reviews. This apartment complex has a resident who has not had their a/c fixed for 2.5 weeks as of 6/19. I have not had my dryer fixed and it was smoking. People have mold in their apartments. Several of us residents have decided to file complaints with HUD and our story is going in a local paper, there are several more issues not listed. They make you pay for pest control & valet trash but neither services are provided. I was told by a staff member that a member of management was pocketing money orders and no residents have known about it. The grounds are continuously trashed since new management stepped in. I have contacted management and upper management including the email they have left for other negative reviews but nothing has been done so far. Do not rent here.

I absolutely love my apartment. It’s cozy and spacious. It’s quiet and awesome to go on walks with your pet. Friendly neighbors and good people all around. Brandy in the office is by far the best one when it comes to communication and helping you out with any issues.. and get THIS, they actually answer their phones!! Haha. Rare for apartment complexes from my past experiences. They should really do something about parking, after 8pm it’s impossible to find parking in and out of the gate. They should have some kind of system for assigned parking for residents, some tenants have 3 cars, there should be a limit as far as who gets to park inside. If you have more than 2 cars in your “household” , maybe park one of them outside? Lol. Don’t know. Just gets really frustrating.

I have lived here 3 years it’s a very nice place having a full size washer and dryer included, garden bath tub, crown molding, nice ceiling fans, cherrywood kitchen cabinets and the pool has large trees also a lake connected to the apartments.
I absolutely love living here. I've been here four years. Its very family orientated here with activities for the residents and then some. The office staff makes you feel right at home, the same for the residents. The staff has become a second family to us and its nice to know they truly care for everyone who lives here. I've had the same bottom neighbor the whole time we have lived here. She is amazing as well. Residents come here and want to stay. We all feel very safe and comfortable living here. Yes you might pay a little more, but you get what you pay for. You cant beat living somewhere you enjoy coming home to. I highly recommend living here.
Hunters cove is the first place Iv lived on my own. It’s been nothing but a great experience. I just signed a 3rd lease. The office is always helpful and It has a great community feel and everyone watches out for one another. I think some of the issues people have had are not with the office. When corporate makes changes it’s up to the manager to enforce those changes. Every place has changes! I looked at several places around town before signing my lease...but knew instantly hunters cove would be my home for a few years. They are also pet friendly! Even Patriot loved growing up here!
I moved here a year ago and I have nothing but nice things to say about this place. The property is always clean and kept up. The manager (Lisa) has always been helpful and nice. I don't understand these other people's ratings that have bashed Lisa...??? She has always been wonderful to me. You don't have to worry about bug problems, because there are none. I haven't experienced any problems that needed to be fixed. The pool is awesome. I like the convenient parking outside of the gate (if you live in one of the far buildings), you can just park on the street and use the walk through gates to get to your unit. It may seem pricey to some people, but trust me, you get your money's worth, compared to other apartments in this town. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking.
I have lived here for a number of years , went through a couple of managers ! Let me start by saying my car was towed on the 5 th of September ! Was told by manager tow company was not suppose to tow any car with a sticker old or new stickers ! Two days later pictures of my car are sent to the manager Lisa and guess what the sticker doesn't show up in the photo . So at this point manager is doing nothing , so we ask the lady at the tow company to go look at the dash of the car sticker is there , she said she would call back that was Tuesday . Nobody called back from our office here at hunters cove or southwest towing ! Went and got the car Wednesday paid a lot of money and guess what the sticker to park in a parking spot here in hunters cove is sitting the same spot it has sat for years ! Not a word from anyone so far and we have a witness to the sticker being there ! Thanks guys ! Decent honest people and you treat them like nothing just for money ! Do beware tenants your car could be towed with or without a parking sticker ! I would never suggest anyone to live here.
My daughter visits her boyfriend here and her car was parked in their lot for about 3 hours last night and was towed. She wasn't parked in a paid parking spot, she was in a regular space, and not parked over the line. There is nothing in their lease or anything posted on the gates or in their parking lot stating that you need a sticker to park in the lot. After discussions with the towing company and the apartment manager (Lisa) it sounds like the companies are in bed with each other to make some extra money. I had to drive 45 miles to a lot in North Dallas to pay $314.95 to get her car just 13 hours after it was towed!!!!!! They will be hearing from my attorney!
The reason I came to hunters cove and pay so much to live here is because I thought it was the best place in waxahachie and best customer service. As soon as you sign the lease they can care less about you. They don't answer the phones when you call or have maintenance issues. Never return a phone call. Parking is a nightmare. The office manager Lisa is rude and the reason I'll never live here again.
I have lived here since June. The staff is amazing, friendly and efficient. The office manager Lisa is great. I had 2 small maintenance requests and they were fixed that day with a signed work order by the maintenance staff, they are great. The property is peaceful and quiet. I already know 5 of the tenants in my building and they are friendly and make me feel at home. Close to shopping, restaurants, Hwy 287, I-35 and all of Waxahachie although secluded. I found a goldmine !!!! Christine
These apartments are not worth the money. Parking after 6pm impossible, all spots are going to be taken. You can opt park outside the gates, which now I guess doesn't matter consider the gates are always broken and wide open. Location is nice right off the highway and down the street from all amenities. Management is rude and will tell you one thing then lie about it the next. Maintenance is pretty quick about getting to problems. Trac lighting in apartments seems nice till you realize you'll never have working bulbs. They go out about once a week. Overall these apartments are ok at best. For the price you pay its not even worth it.. Keep looking.
I like my apartments. They have an open floor plan, with unbelievable amounts of storage for apartments. It is gated with a beautiful beach entry pool. A workout room and a kitchen with free coffee in the lobby. They are always helpful in repairs. They maintain pest control, and I never see bugs. Very friendly community as well. We are right next to a small lake with ducks and turtles. Close to shopping and restaurants. It has very well maintained common areas and a nice dog run. It is one of the nicest apartments in this area.
This is a great place it has a walk in pool and dog park if you have pets computer room and a weight room coffee bar great side walks for walking close to resterants and shopping places local
