Property Ratings at Hunters Hill Apartments
Apartments are nice however the property manager Shelley was horrible. My mother retired and moved in here paying FULL rent not through the government subsidized housing.. spoke with the neighbors and they said that this Shelley girl was going into my mothers apartment 8 different times within two months. Things started coming up missing ..jewelry, money, etc. We contacted her at the main office and asked her why she keeps going in the apt? my mother is gone all day taking care of my grandmother and my father (she is their care giver) so no one is ever home.. when we asked her she said that she had to go in for different emergencies.. back flow or something? However we spoke with the neighbors and we never had any issues in the past two months that required maintenance or management?? Shelly claims there was back flow problems and just continued to hang up on my mother when she was confronted. Then she stated that she was in my mothers apartment and found a marijuana plant!! My mother has never smoked pot and there is not even a plant of any kind in her apt. Now she says she has pictures of that?? This lady is crazy! IF that was in her apt why did she not contact the police dept right away? Guess she just wants my mother and my daughter (who attends college all day) out of here. I can not believe that she would go as far as this! . Regardless I am getting my mother out of these apts asap and contacting the company that owns these apts , I have no idea why these problems even started. The rent was paid in full on time , no complaints from our neighbors, and no one ever even home we thought everything was going well until this lady just kept trying to kick my mother out for no reason. so if your moving here I would suggest installing cameras by your front door and living room area before your items come up missing. and if you say something to management be prepared for her to run you out and go as far as falsely accusing you of growing marijuana
