Just beyond the north side of Charlotte, Huntersville is a primarily residential community in the northern part of Mecklenburg County (“North Meck” to locals). As a suburb, Huntersville has quite a bit to offer residents: Novent Hospital and several shopping centers can be found along the Interstate 77 corridor, many of the local schools earn top marks, and numerous parks and golf courses provide grounds for outdoor recreation.
To the north, Lake Norman is a popular spot for swimming, boating, and fishing. The annual Carolina Renaissance Festival regularly brings in over 150,000 people to Huntersville each autumn.

Property Ratings at Huntersville Commons
Great service...love the place...Ms. Patricia and Ms. Chilly great help
Before I came to this community I visit three other ones, and everything needed to be done online. I came here by mistake and when I first open the door the general manager and Patricia both said good morning with a big smile. I ask how much was the montly rent and price was a litle to high for my budget and left. But what I did admire was the great service they renderd, I have been living here for almost a month and everything has been great thank you for the great job both are doing!!! Hugo Escobar.
The worst run apartment iv ever lived at from preemptive fees theyll charge you to the Zero upkeep of the property and no care for tenet safty its horrendous

I will be moving here at the end of the month and the staff, especially Patricia, went out of her way to help me. She was friendly and was great at follow through. I couldn't have found a better place for my son and I. Thank you Patricia for being amazing and helping me navigate the process. I look forward to moving in!

Ms. Kelly and Ms. Patrica Are awesome in the leasing office. I had a great tour of the community with Ms. Patricia. They made my move in day so easy. Me and my son are new to the city and community. Glad we were able to find a nice Affordable apartment to call home for a while. I met my neighbors and they were so welcoming. My overall experience was fantastic.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review! We hope you continue to have a fantastic experience living here at Huntersville Commons!
Huntersville Commons is a great place to call "home". The staff is wonderful! They are professional, attentive and make it clear they really do care about the residents. They quickly respond to your needs and often do little things, like bringing freeze-pops to the kids at the pool in the summer, which just makes you appreciate it more. The community is quiet, safe and family friendly. It was the vaulted ceilings and wood-burning fireplace that sold me on my apartment, but the updated granite counter tops have made it even homier.

We are so glad you have made us "Home" and we hope we can continue to make your living experience just as good as when you first moved in. Keep an eye for our next Pool Party, July 2022!
Moved in earlier this month, and the process was made very easy by Patricia (and Ralph!) New appliances, new carpet, and the layout of the two bedroom is spacious, especially for the rent you pay. Quiet community and thick walls- it feels very private. Would definitely reccomend
Beautiful space, new appliances and carpet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Just moved in and its a nice area close to everything you need! Would recommend, actually started recommending to friends already!
All new appliances and new marble countertops! Patricia in the leasing office is amazing and goes above and beyond to make sure everything for your move goes smoothly. The complex is quiet and very clean!

Good morning Cassandra!!! I am super glad that you love your new place!!! I appreciate you!!! Welcome to Huntersville Commons!!!!
This place is okay, it’s a decent price for the area. However, maintenance and management is constantly placing notices on the door about them needing to come into the apartment for some reason or another. I’ve never lived anywhere that has bothered me this much. It’s frustrating and highly unprofessional. Neighborhood is quiet overall, lots of people moving in and out quite often. A lot of the smells from other apartments comes in through the vents. Had several issues with the smell of marijuana in the bathroom because of the vent. It’s definitely an older complex, the pool is really small and by the road which sucks. No playground or amentities for kids, short driving distance to parks.

We encourage you to bring your concerns to the office in the future so that we may address them as quickly as possible!
PROS: I lived in a 1 bedroom apartment that I had more than enough space in, which was great. It's a nice quiet community at most times. CONS: I do not recommend living here. I did find a lot of insects coming into my apartment on the first floor, so if you can, do not live on the first floor. Also, the staff changes VERY often which is a problem because they are not trained properly. The dumpster area is filled with trash and nobody comes to take the furniture that is left there. Maintenance is never done properly, it takes forever to get your deposit back.

Thank you so much for sharing your feedback about living here at Huntersville Commons Apartment Homes! It is great knowing that residents have satisfaction with the floor-plan of their home with us. We also apologize for any negative experiences you may have encountered. Fortunately, changes in the office give us opportunity to improve our community every day!
1) New staff in the office are very unprofessional and rude; no experience in the industry (admitted by the Regional Manager). 2) Grounds are littered with feral cats in which the property management company has even admitted they do not know what to do and have run out of options. Residents feed cats and management doesn't address the problem. 3) Landscaping is not kept up with, grass is overgrown, breezeways and pool are not blown off properly, residents do not clean up after their pets (leave bags of feces in the breezeway) and littered all over the common areas, lights in breezeways have been burned out for months, street lights have also been out for months. 4) Families of 7-8 living in 2 bedroom apartments. 5) Pool is unsafe - no monitoring of drinking, residents from other communities using it and vulgar activity around children. 6) Dumpster areas are littered with trash. Realizing the tenants have no regard for their community, this also lies on the management as well to ensure rules that matter are followed. This community is absolutely horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

I like my apartment for the high ceiling and the fireplace . Its quiet and relax there but no gym, I was not told until I move in . For the amount of living space for a 2 bedrooms , its to expensive not sure I will renew my lease .

Thank you so much for sharing your experience living here at Huntersville Commons Apartment Homes! We love hearing feedback about resident experiences here because it gives us opportunities to improve. We love the vaulted ceilings and fireplaces too!
The apartments complex is quiet. It's a laid back environment. Police live out here, they don't bother anyone. It's not kid friendly, no park only a pool that is always dirty & the bottom is slippery. I have to call maintenance at least 4 times for each job either because they never come or the job wasn't done properly. I still have a huge hole under my dishwasher that has never been fixed. I've leased for almost a year. I will not renew my lease.

I love my apartments and the floor plan. It was everything that I was looking for in the area I was looking for. They do a lot of updates and keep up with the buildings to keep them looking nice and clean. We have a maintenance staff that is there ASAP with any issue I may have. The office managers know everyone by name and do their best to help with any issue. It's quiet and undisturbed for being a centrally located apartment in the area. Super high ceilings, washer and dryer, pantry, and a walk in closet.
