Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Hunting Hills
Lease ended here April 30 2023. Called and inquired and let them know verbally I was interested in two bedroom units. 60 days out. Was brushed off and told I can’t even see them until 30 days prior to my lease ending. Finally got a tour of one about 33 days out. Gave notice then. Was given attitude about transferring my deposit from my 1 bedroom unit to a 2 bedroom unit. Decided not to spend money there and just move. Company decided to keep my entire deposit which accrued no interest. For insufficient notice.
Do not move here. They have a serious mice issue the exterminator comes out but the mice eat right thru the stuff they be putting down. Maintenance does not do there job my over was not working for two months until I had to force them to come out and fix it. The people at the rental office is unprofessional and act stupid like they don’t know what’s going on plus they don’t like answering the phone. My worst experience ever I would not recommend nobody to move in these apartments at all.
Well let me start off by saying I was nerves about moving here at first.. But I’m glad I did... I love my view & enjoy the price as well. I have two bedroom & both rooms are huge. The leasing office can get really busy sometimes, but they do return calls...
22, no kids, in a 2BR for a year that has a good amount of space. Rent is affordable, and staff are nice, but the property is constantly in ruins. In the winter I complained that the air system was faulty. Maintenance told me the almost nonexistent draft was the heat, had to get a third party to come in after multiple complaints and they fixed it immediately, without being condescending too. Laundry room has had 1 working dryer for a couple months, the lights go off at least once a month and take hours for maintenance to fix, and there have been water issues at least 3 times. It's nice that the office keeps us informed of maintenance, but the frequency and length of the issues pretty much overshadows that courtesy. Nice starter apartment, good closet space, awesome balcony, but with two pets dependent on electricity, heavy Wi-Fi use, and frequent laundry, it becomes extremely inconvenient.

My apartment is very spacious I live in a two bedroom apartment where the rooms are huge and the closets are big. I also have a balcony with a nice view. The here are wonderful I was in a situation where I had lost my job for a month and because of that I was behind on my rent. The staff understood my situation and although they could have let me go they were kind enough to be (patient) and (help me) where I was a allowed to eventually get caught up on my rent and I was so grateful to them because they cared! So kudos to them!!! :) So if you want to live in a place where the staff cares about their tenants this is the place for you ! :-)

Thank you for your review! We are so happy you are part of The Hills family!
My apartment is very spacious and comfortable with a balcony with a view. The rooms are big with large closets. And the staff are awesome they are never to busy to listen to your concerns and act in a timely fashion! They are also willing to help you when situations occur and paying your rent they don't judge they understand that life sometimes throw you a curve ball. It is such a blessing to have people like that who understand and willing to help!
Great started off apartment, I'm 22 no kids and it's a great place where you are just getting started. Haven't had any mice, have bugs every now and then but that's mostly in the summer. Great neighborhood for it to be in baltimore city. The leasing office staff are great. Only have had an issue with the maintenance staff they definitely need to hire a new crew. Overall a great place to live. They have events for residents all the time and really show their appreciation.
I have to say that of all my apartment rentals, living in Hunting Hills has been the best. The company is very professional, has all kinds of events during the year (mostly for family/kids) and have always been very prompt when it came to maintenance issues. The apartments themselves are very clean, well-maintained, and had an updated kitchen. For the price, you get quite a bit of space, and the location is not too far from anything, it's right on the city/county line. Very close to schools, markets, hospitals, and basically everything you could need. The neighborhood and tenants are very mixed, there's a few families, some students, but mostly middle-aged workers. It never gets too loud and it's much safer than the city.
My apartment complex is a quiet and preserve place to live. I was impress with management then listen to your they lis ten to your concerns and help in anyway they can. They worked with me when unexpected events occurred which meant a lot to me . They made me feel like a person and not just someone who was just paying rent! I was Blessed to have them when they were there!
After 3 yr in a basement space, it is great to have my own private entrance and area that isn't shared with any others. First time in a complex - but I found one that I really like.........
