Southeast Boise winds its way along the eastern banks of the Boise River, a patchwork quilt of green and brown stitched by tidy rows of suburban homes. As the largest neighborhood in the city, this location offers something for everyone. Historic homes surrounding the university attract young, artistic types, while families flock to modern subdivisions. Designed with families in mind, most homes in these subdivisions have schools within walking distance.
Wedged between downtown Boise and some of Idaho's most prominent employers, residents of this area don't waste hours commuting. Drive less than four miles northwest and reach the city center in about ten minutes.
Easy access to mountains and forests draws every kind of outdoor enthusiast. Take effortless day hikes or grab your tent and seek refuge in the woods for an entire weekend. Fish, hunt or simply take photographs of the unspoiled wilderness.

Property Ratings at Huntington
I lived at the Huntington and was sad when I was relocated out of Idaho. The Huntington is the perfect community. The property is beautiful and well kept. The apartments are clean, and the staff is amazing. I am hoping that my career brings me back to the Boise area and home to the Huntington Apartments.
Property Manager at Huntington, Responded To This Review
We're glad that you found our community to be perfect and enjoyed our well-kept property, clean apartments, and amazing team. Should your career bring you back to the Boise area, we'd be happy to welcome you back home to The Huntington Apartments!
We have lived here for 3 years. The current maintenance staff we interact with are Rob and Victor and they have been great to work with. Friendly and efficient. Becky the Office Manager is very responsive to our needs and a pleasure to work with.
Remodeled in the 2000s, but don't be fooled. The buildings themselves are old and the plumbing is just as ancient. Management is apathetic and maintenance is a terrible mix of lazy and incompetent.
I moved into this property in June 2016 and was there until March 2019. Staff was very responsive to needs and very helpful. I value quiet in the evenings, and this property was very well insulated from sound from your neighbors. You would occasionally hear someone blaring their car stereo or some conversations out in the parking lot, but typically very few issues to be had. The property is within easy walking distance from downtown, parks, restaurants, and more. My only complaints? Rent creep, for one - rent would increase with each lease renewal. However, the increases were understandable as they were renovating of the ENTIRE property. I also got an unexpected notice via email that I was needed to move out of my unit for them to renovate it as I was paying month to month. However, they gave me two months notice and first priority for moving into a recently renovated unit. Ended up not needing to do so because I ended up taking a new job and moving out of state. Overall, this is a great community to rent from. Highly recommended.
My experience with Huntington was far from adequate. I found their property management company not just unresponsive. I would characterize them as indifferent to tenants and potential tenants. They simply did not care of the impact they had on tenants and potential tenants. I am happy to pay my rent and adhere to my responsibly in the lease but I also expect them to do their part.
I have lived here last year for six months for a business trip and came back this year to finally rent my own place. I looked around other apartments but have decided to stay here. I like how it is not too far away from Downtown and my work place. It's not very far from grocery, gas stations and all the other basic necessities in every day living specially when you live by yourself. It's also not far away from the airport. It's a quiet little community with friendly and very nice people managing the place.
Its magical unfortunate that they don't allow pets
Nice and quiet neighborhood. Close to everything. Clean apartment upon moving in and extremely friendly and helpful office staff. Only been here a short period.
