Nestled at the foothills of Blue Ridge Mountains, about halfway between Atlanta and Charlotte along I-85, Greenville offers big-city excitement coupled with small-town simplicity. A burgeoning food scene and exceptional amenities plus a hospitable, close-knit community and easy access to nature account for this juxtaposition.
Greenville is teeming with options for modern adventures. Renting in Greenville affords you the opportunity to bike the expansive Swamp Rabbit Trail, catch a baseball game at Fluor Field, take in stunning views on the Liberty Bridge at Falls Park on the Reedy, watch a play at the Peace Center, meet the animals at Greenville Zoo, and purchase your next gift at Haywood Mall. You can also attend Artisphere, a three-day outdoor event which draws acclaimed international artists to Greenville every year.

Property Ratings at Huntington Downs
I was looking at an apt at Huntington Downs. I was shown 3 filthy 1 bedroom apts. Roaches!! Mice droppings and mouse traps in cabinets. Warped flooring. Stained carpet too. I also see on FB that a car was stolen overnight here. Yikes
Huntington Downs has always been amazing! The office staff are so helpful, especially Katie! Convenient location and peaceful neighborhood.
I would avoid this apartment complex at all costs! The office staff is SO unprofessional and incompetent. They pass out notifications with dates from a week to even 2 weeks ago! Apartments are out dated and dirty. I had 2 weeks left on my lease, they had the maintenance man throw out all my personal belongings and locked me out the apartment. When asked where my things were, the only answer I got was a shrug :-). When I asked why my personal belongings were thrown out, the maintenance man told me I had been evicted.....???? Called the front office multiple times and have YET to receive an answer.
There are a lot of pros to this place. I've lived here for two years and overall I've really enjoyed staying here. I live in one of the townhomes, and I've always felt like there was enough space for two. The area is fairly quiet except I can definitely hear the interstate traffic if my windows are open. There are a lot of families here, I always see kids playing outside. The complex is pet friendly, they even have a little gated area for a dog to run. I've never had an issue with pests, excessive noise, or safety. However, my biggest con was the state of the apartment when we moved in. It was pretty clear that while every thing had been painted, nothing had been really cleaned. Everything felt grimy, cracks/sags in the ceiling, dirty bathrooms. The biggest issue was the dishwasher. The previous tenant clogged the dishwasher and left the water and food sitting in the bottom. No one checked it, and by the time we moved in, it was moldy and reeked! It got fixed within a week, but the smell lingers still. Second biggest issue was a grimy and black bathtub. When we asked them complex about the tub not being cleaned, they basically said cleaning isn't their problem. We tried cleaning it ourselves, but it was no good. We had to call a cleaning service to finally get the bathtub looking clean and grime free again. Not a huge deal, but was definitely frustrating. But despite all of that, I'd still suggest this place. The price is decent, there's all sorts of amenities, and it feels homey.
Good Community to Live, quick response for maintenance complaints & everything available in neighborhoods...
pls dont fall prey for all the sweet talk they do when u come for apt here...its all fake.they do such a fake talk that u will not wanna go back.they say 2 costs for rent one is not upgraded other is upgraded.that point they stress alot.if u wanna save and take normal one they will keep all old applainces that are not decent enough to even look at.so that 1st thought u get is to upgrade...their job done!!! we faced it.our stove was literally not good .oven was having this rubber seal half broken.oil dripping in the box underneath n full rusty.coils wont wrk most of the tym.when we ask they just come check waste our time go..it wont last 2 days i promise again i call they come n repeatttttt.when we ask to replace it the ans we get is " as long as it works whatever it looks or happens we wont change.then why do they increase rent all the time.and dryer u guys we have to turn it on high heat atleast 3 times for clothes to dry .they does same with it too.result our power bill got doubled.we really made a bad decision moving here.at its just 2 months since we moved and pissed already. DONT FALL PREY PLS
This apartment complex has the worst staff I have ever experienced. Office Manager lies and never follows through with customer satisfaction commitments. Facilities such as gym, dog park and tennis courts are run down and dirty. The interior and appliances have not been upgraded since mid 80s. The maintenance staff enters your apartment with no notice and it takes multiple service calls to fix stuff. I still have unresolved issues they've ignored. I would never recommend this place!
I had few problems while coming into the apartment, but after reporting that to the apartment management, I got a prompt response on all my concerns got addressed.
moved from a 1900 sq ft house to 1300 sq ft, two story apt. never lived in an apt before and this has been a great experience. Office is helpful, maintainance crew is timely, amenities are just like house living without the responsibilities. Laundry room equipped with new machines, and now debit/credit card reader. Two pools with barbeques and picnic tables, playground, tennis courts, volleyball courts, and gym allo nicely maintained.
We have lived at Huntington Downs for 1 year and 8 months. We do not plan on moving anytime soon. We are in a prime location. We are close to shops, restaurants (with delivery), and about anything else you could want. We have nationally ranked schools and the neighborhood is defiantly child friendly, but you can also separate yourself from the kids if you would like some piece and quite. We have 2 pools, 4 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, a clubhouse (for special events), and a private pond with a lovely fountain in the middle. The office staff has always been Johnnie on the Spot, we call and they are here within a couple of hours, same day. We have never had an emergency but I can only assume how they would respond. They don't even want you changing a light bulb, call them and they will bring one down to you. We are so close with our neighbors and trust them so much...we would even switch off babysitting at the pool so the parents can relax at least every other day. A wonderful place to live, if you have the choice of were to live I would not suggest you looking any further but feel free to do so that way you can see for yourself how much of a wonderful community this is...Speak with Jennifer, the property manager, and tell them that John sent you from 564.
The apartments are older but if you are after space then it is perfect. I did not want an apartment where I could stand in the middle of my apartment and touch every room and pay an arm and a leg. This apartment complex is large enough to walk unless you prefer to be inside and there is a fitness room. I like that I am 5 minutes away from the best restaurants, the mall, strip malls and the interstate 85 and 385.
Huntington Downs is the best value in Greenville S.C. You can not find a more spacious and cost friendly apartment in the heart of this lovely growing city. It is close to shopping, dining, major highways and some of the best schools the upstate has to offer. You are only minutes from downtown attractions and events. The office staff is fantastic and your needs or concerns are always addressed in a timely manor. The grounds are neatly kept and well landscaped. The property has great amenities and is family and pet friendly.
The grounds are aesthetic and well-shaded, and conveniently located between Woodruff Road and Pelham Road, so you can access the shopping centers and the 85 and 385 freeways while avoiding most traffic. The staff is very friendly and handles maintenance and service requests promptly. Most of the buildings are about 20 years old with original appliances where they haven't been replaced out, but you can get an appliance upgrade package or live in one of the newer buildings if you are okay with the rent being a little higher. I rent a washer/drier, so I have that added to my rent each month. Overall, considering the amenities and location, it is one of the best deals you can get on a good apartment complex in this area.
Great location, minutes from shopping, food and fun. The staff is friendly and helpful, maintenance guys are quick with repairs. I love my lake view and the family friendly community. Did I mention, two pools, a park, a lake, car care center, and it's pet friendly too. Some common areas need fallen limbs picked up, but that's my only complaint.
Welcome to Huntington Downs! Living here gives you the best of country and city living. The grounds are all green with great older trees. You can feel at one with nature. Then when you need to go shopping, to the movies or out to dinner you are minutes front Woodruff Rd and downtown Greenville. Everything you need is hear. We have two swimming pools, a dog park, tennis courts and a great club house that is newly renovated. Perfect for your next shindig. Behind the office is a beautiful pond where you can always see wild ducks and geese. My favorite is when the babies follow the parents, it's so cute. I hope you will consider coming to visit you just might find your new home.
Nice and clean with lots room 1345sq ft, 2 floors, 2 bedrooms 3 bathrooms,2 full baths in the bedrooms 1 half bath on the first floor, bedrooms are a good size with walk in closets, living/dinning room, open kitchen, plenty of storage space along with a place for a washer and dryer and it also has a balcony that over looks a duck pond. Nice apartment complex with nice people and pet friendly with a dog park, children's play ground 2 pools, a gym and a car port to wash your car. I live here with my wife and 9yr old daughter, it is a great place for a family safe with good schools, its also in a good area not far from all that's around like shopping, food stores and restaurants. I think its the best place to live you get a lot for your money here in Greenville SC.
I stayed here for 4 years and loved it. It's really quite , great Location , Near Woodruff, Haywood and Laurens Rd , Quick Access to Highway, Maintence is the best, Most of the staff or friend and remember you by name.
