Located between Portsmouth and Rochester, Dover is a historic city with a rich past spanning almost four centuries. Dover, also known as the Garrison City, sits in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire, touting a thriving downtown area along the banks of the Cocheco River. In the downtown area, residents enjoy a broad selection of cafes, shops, taverns, and other small businesses housed in beautifully preserved historic buildings.
Outside of downtown, Dover adopts a more suburban character, with tranquil neighborhoods covering most of the landscape. The Dover Transportation Center is a stop on Amtrak’s Downeaster line, offering rail service to Boston and Portland. The University of New Hampshire is just outside of town in neighboring Durham, making Dover a great option for students, faculty, and staff members.

Property Ratings at Huntington Exchange Dover
Prepare for chaos, drama, and unexpected charges! My worst experience ever: they bill you without explanation, disregard your privacy, and invade your home weekly for various maintenance tasks. Add to that a malfunctioning alarm system, ongoing construction behind your walls, and a frequently broken watering system.
Property Manager at Huntington Exchange Dover, Responded To This Review
Hi Mojtaba, it is curious that you have already left a review for us, which we have already addressed, but now there are two other reviews of the same content. If you have further concerns regarding your move-out charges, contact our leasing office. Our leasing staff will be able to walk you through the charges if need be. "Hi Mojtaba! We appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few things. It seems there were indeed some challenges during your time here, which included an emergency, we addressed promptly and did require access to your home. Regarding your kitchen breakers, you were notified several times that you were overloading the electrical circuits with the number of small appliances which were simultaneously plugged into the kitchen outlets such as an electric tea kettle, coffee pot, air fryer, & hot plate. As for your move-out, we made sure to document the condition of the unit and attempted a joint inspection, but unfortunately, you refused to participate and left the apartment uncleanly to which we did provide you with photos as is our standard practice, and as undeniable. We do apologize if our updates to the safety systems caused any inconvenience. The system was not faulty, but since we take great pride in our properties and want to provide the best product for our renters, it was important to us to have an updated system in place. All residents were notified in advance when any disturbances would be occurring, and at this point – we are well past this as part of our upgrade process."
