Property Ratings at Huntington Square
I had researched many apartments in these area and finally decided to move to Huntington square apartments. I can say for sure we were not disappointed. Our apartment was wonderful, clean, modern with a balcony ( I live at first floor). Everything is very close, my kids love the playground and the beautiful lake right next to the apartment buildings. The maintenance team is the best! They are really helpful and friendly, they working 24/7. I love that heating and A/C are included to the rent, you only pay electric(I pay for 2 bedroom monthly usually 35$- 45$) My kids love the pool and other main holiday parties which is organised by office every year. I am moving because of my work, will really miss this place, office ladies Michelle and Renee are always very helpful.
I lived in both 1 BR and 2 BR units at Huntington Apartments for about 2.5 years. The location is awesome, 10 mins to airport, 5 minutes from Mount Prospect Downtown and train station. Arlington Heights and Des Plaines are a road away, everything you need is mostly available in 1-2 mile radius. There are two good parks on both sides of the apartment, within 2 minutes walk, great place to hang out and also for kids to play. The apartment staff (Michelle, Falguni, Daniella) always helped me with any issue from little maintenance to replacing big items like AC. The maintenance staff is available all day along during the business days and they are always there to help, always got the help the same day or next day whenever i need something. Apartment staff is also courteous with moving in and moving out time lines and not in a rush or impose additional charges. The only time there is delay is due to parts not available for some items especially during the pandemic, which is challenging for anyone and not in the hands of apartment staff. Overall, the buildings are old, but for the price and service you can live comfortably.
I know that different people have different experiences where they stay, but for me, Huntington Square Apartments was a Great place to live. I lived there for 4.5 years while working in the NW Burbs area, and loved it. The buildings are a little older, but well maintained. If I ever had an issue with the building or facilities- the manager Always had the maintenance staff check out the issue and get it fixed right away. Each building has a secure entrance requiring a key, and then you had another key for your apartment. That was important to me- security. No outside access to the front of my apartment. Each building is well lit at night, and the local Police dept. randomly patrolled through the property both day and night. I appreciated that. The staff was also helpful, courteous, and friendly. The Property manager also hosted some events at the clubhouse,- that brought the residents together, for fun activities, food, music, and give residents a chance to meet their neighbors. When the snow fell, the manager had the Maintenance staff busy clearing the parking of snow, and also clearing the sidewalks from ice & snow, - making it safer and easier to get to your vehicle or to get in the buildings from the parking lot. Like I said, I lived there for 4.5 years and loved it. If my work takes me back to that area in the future, I would definitely want to stay there again. Albert M.
I tried going to the pool with my friends, we did what every kid would want to do at a pool and jumped in, did flips, dived in, jumped from one side of the pool trying to high five the guy on the other side. There was no one in the 9 feet area. Then a lady comes out who calls the police and takes the key away from us, we also saw these other 2 girls who were under 17 and she said we needed an adult thats 17 or older if we can't stay why can they? Maybe because there were more of us but we werent bothering anyone, matter of fact there were 2 familys with their little kids in the 3 feet part and no one in the 9 feet. Later we see 5 girls going in the pool which only 1 lives there and the woman told us "only 2 guests per person" so how come they get 4 others and we cant have our friends there?
