Huntington Woods

Ive been here for about 2 years. When I first moved in, I'd say it was great. However, things have changed & I no longer enjoy living here. pros: the layout is nice. theres a dishwasher, big closets, a tub, some of these things are rare in complexes, so this is nice. the cons: literally everything else. i dont even know where to start. First, there is an unknown sinkhole that has been here since summer. it sat for many months, with no one working on it. But now, in the dead of winter they start construction. this is a big problem because the noise from the machines is pretty constant & DAILY, starting at like 7 am. it makes it incredibly irritating & honestly at times impossible to work from home. I called to inquire about when i could expect it to finish, & staff told me "i dont know what you expect me to do about it. theres at least 6 more months of renovations" this is really a huge hinderance b/c complete apartments are blocked off & they moved the garbages to be directly in front of one person's apartment. Managment DOES NOT CARE about how annoying this is for a tenant. They also re painted all of the railings before dealing w/ the sinkhole issue, when no one cares about paint chips on the railings, i would actually rather not be woken up at 7 am sharp every morning by constant loud beeping. dont expect to get packages delivered here unless you can ensure they will be put in the amazon hub. people are not friendly here & theres a lot of crime here. I was personally a victim of package theft & also the KIA boys breaking into my vehicle here. the pool was closed more than it was open this summer. this is not an exaggeration. the reason they gave is bc they "didn't have anyone to staff it" but when there is "staff" there it's just one of the neighbors (a tenant that lives here) & i can assure you she is not a lifegaurd or trained in any way. she literally would just sit at a table & make you check in, thats it. but thats their reason for why they refuse to open the pool. speaking of ammenities, the laundry machines here don't work--the dryers never completely dry my clothes even after running 3+ times, just a waste of money. i contacted staff here & they told me *I* have to contact the laundry company in order for it to be fixed. Melissa is a wonderful staff member with great customer service, but i cant say the same for any other staff. They are all incredibly rude. it is not worth the high cost! overall, I DO NOT recommend.

have been here almost 6 years. for MOST part LOVE IT. VERY QUIET & grounds are well maintained & MOST people are lovely.

Huntington Woods is a great place to live , I’m still trying to get my sister to move here, they are affordable, this is my first apartment and i feel like this is going great

It’s ok place mainly a problem with a lack of insulation creating a much higher electrical heating bill

I think Huntington Woods goes above and beyond to make sure that the residents have an amazing experience with the Complex.

When I moved here I told myself and family I finally found my happy place. What used to be a very nice inviting beautiful place to live, however, I’m sad to say, it’s turning into a resident’s nightmare, it reminds me of the city of Hartford where I grew up. Very loud music while driving by, speeding without disregard of children crossing street to the pool/playground. Mechanical work being done on vehicles, balconies loaded with vehicle tires, rims, appliances. Dumping garbage inside recycle bins, garbage bags left outside the bins where rodents tare them up, throwing large flattened empty boxes without flattening them up which leaves no room. An increase smell of disgusting marijuana. Rude adults and disrespectful children especially to the elderly. Also large pets and Pitt bulls which I thought weren’t allowed. Large furniture and especially mattresses just thrown anywhere around the garbage in no kind of order. Underneath Stairs leading to the second level and walk through are not being properly maintained.

My experience with Huntington Woods thus far has been great. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and punctual. The grounds are kept manicured and clean. The complex is quiet and neighbors are friendly. It has been a pleasure living here!

Unfortunately I am forced to write a very negative review after my experience living here for a year. The apartment is just a money trap for the tenants. The administration looks for anyway possible to screw you at the end of your lease. I unfortunately do not have one nice comment to say about the leasing office they were rude and treated residents like they were below them. The apartments are out of date and when your lease is up they will keep your security deposit to redo most of the apartment. This is also a rough area I had several packages stolen right off my patio. Also be aware if you do ignore this and rent here a regular sized couch does not fit through the doors. The only reason they get 2 stars is cause the parking is nice. Also the pool is nice but it’s never open.

I absolutely love living here! So much in fact that I have no desire to ever move from here!

Huntington Woods has been my home going on 11 years and is one of my best decisions I’ve ever made to move at this property. I like the spacious rooms with open concept to the kitchen, dining, and living room as well as with large windows which give lots of daylight. Visitors and family members usually give many great compliments when coming over. I’ve never had any maintenance issues that wasn’t resolved in a timely manner which is something of importance as a tenant. I would say that all-in-all, Huntington Woods has been a great place to live and happy to call My Home !!

Temeka is great! She did everything she could to help us get accepted into Huntington Woods, she's very friendly & welcoming! I haven't really met the rest of the staff there but the times I've gone to the office everyone is always friendly with a smile :) The apartments are beautiful and very spacious. It's a great place to live !

Very quick to take care of any problems that arise would definitely recommend living here

This place is terrible. I had someone enter my apartment with out me knowing. Making me feel unsafe in my home.

I throughly enjoy living here. I found everything I needed and looking for in an apartment, especially that it is all one level. I also like the amenities, the swimming pool which my grand kids love, without the work.

Pleasing aestheticaly in the front of building(s) Rear of buildings are neglected. Landscaping is poor by my unit.

Huntington Woods is a good community based complex. It's pretty quiet. I have no problems. If you treat people as you want to be treated, then no problems.

A quiet and homely place to live .The management team are pleasant ,helpful and polite. The responsiveness of the property management team when a request is made is prompt and effective.

I moved at Huntington Woods 9 years ago and I feel very fortunate that I could get an apartment with great amenities, which are very important to me. My thoughts are that the layout of my apartment has been well thought of and it accommodates my furnitures very well. The staff have all been very nice and willing to take the time to listen to any situation that I may have and appropriately directs maintenance to solve the problems. Maintenance have all gone above and beyond to solve any problems that arises, very knowledgeable and professional and shows empathy for me as a tenant to live in my apartment. Im very happy living here and its one of the most important decision anyone can make on having a place to call home.

Since Ive moved into Huntington Woods, I feel safe and secure. Love the pool during the summers. I even enjoy the exercise room. The staff is always willing to help with any problems;or steer you into the right direction.

Huntington Woods is a nice apartment community. Management does a good job of keeping it clean & safe for its residents. Snow clean-up has gotten way more organized & efficient. Though in a city the grounds give a park-like feel and the location is very convenient to shopping & highway access.

Living in Huntington for five years one of the best apartments I enjoy living at huntingwood I have no issues so far the area where I live on is quiet I would recommend to family and friends!

Huntington woods is great place to live staff is very nice.And the maintenance grew dose a great job of maintaining the community.

if it isn't something breaking in your apartment then it's carriers refusing to deliver your packages to you door, or trash all over the outside amenities, or mean spirited staffers that wont treat you like an actual person, or how it takes forever to get somewhere because of the location and traffic, or how when the train passes behind the property it shakes your whole apartment.

Excellent, safe place to live close to shopping and located close to freeways.

After living here for 15 yrs I find the staff still to be there when you need them. Douglas and his maint. Crew are excellent. I am very very happy here.

This is my second time living at Huntington Woods. I moved back here April 2019 after my divorce. The office staff made my transition easy and they were very kind. Anything I needed or any questions I had they were always there. Also the maintenance crew is awesome. They are there when you need them. They are professional and kind and all around great guys. I love my apartment. Its super cute and I love love love my balcony. :)

I placed the order and received immediate response and maintenance came minutes later. He was respectful friendly took care of it and even gave advice on making sure to have windows locked so insure keeping heat in and conserving energy. I have placed a couple orders and the response has been great. Very pleased! Thank you

my experience should not encourage your decision to move here. however, i pride myself on honesty so i honestly suggest you save your money and find a place that is actually worth living at. the only benefit to this complex is the pool and bristol has plenty public pools.
