overall great community but I prefer the townhouse floorplan. I like the homey feel it gives off and having my own garage that is attached.

Great experience with the staff that works here. The townhouse was exactly what I was looking for when it came to an apartment. I’ve recently moved here for you, I like the location as it’s still close enough to highway and all things one might need. My favorite part is it was affordable. I’m excited to call Huntley ridge home next week!

I lived in this apartment for 2 years and experienced a significant decline in quality and responsiveness when the management changed about 6 months into my stay. Despite the allure of affordable rent, the headaches and costs that ensued were far from worth it. Here's a detailed account of my experience: Initial Impressions and Management Change: Initially, the complex, under different ownership and management, seemed promising. However, the shift to new management marked the beginning of a downward spiral. Issues that arose were met with indifference, and promises for resolutions remained unfulfilled. Heating Nightmare: The first winter was unbearable; the boiler heating system barely functioned, leaving me to resort to wearing multiple layers and using several blankets to stay warm. By March, the heating was prematurely turned off, deemed unnecessary by management. The subsequent installation of baseboard heating not only took over a month but also resulted in a tripling of my electric bill. The installation process left two gaping holes in my wall, haphazardly covered with duct tape, which were never properly fixed despite assurances. Water Woes: Throughout my tenancy, I faced water issues ranging from ice-cold showers to complete shut-offs, and at times, brown water. These incidents occurred approximately over 10 times, significantly disrupting daily life. Security Concerns: Promises of a garage door opener went unfulfilled, and the garage door itself never fully closed, compromising the security of the basement and, by extension, the entire building. The front door lacked a secure lock, allowing unrestricted access to the building. My personal storage in the basement was broken into twice, and my laundry was stolen on two separate occasions. Indifference of Management: Despite numerous complaints and concerns raised, the response from the property management was dishearteningly apathetic. The common refrain of "we manage the properties; there is not much we can do for you" underscored a lack of responsibility and customer care. Final: While the lower rent might seem enticing, the financial, physical, and emotional tolls have far outweighed any initial savings. The constant issues, compounded by the management's inaction, have made my time at Huntley ridge distressing. I strongly advise potential renters to consider these factors seriously before making a decision. Your peace of mind and safety are worth more than any perceived financial savings.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! No working hot water for MONTHS, maintenance staff is essentially unresponsive, project managers Blatantly avoid being accessible/contactable. Doors don't shut, outlets don't work, no working climate control other than an ancient window unit shoved through a hole in the wall. I haven't had anything but cold or lukewarm showers at best in months. These are classic "Landlord Specials" crappy apartments with a thick coat of white paint EVERYWHERE.
The actual apartments and townhomes look nothing like the pictures showing updated rental spaces. That is only 1 unit that they have flipped. We have lived here for 2 years, are quiet, clean, always pay our rent on time and we cannot wait to leave. The walls are paper thin, you can hear every noise your neighbors make and we have had countless issues including no hot water, massive water leaks in our garage/basement space when it rains (we live in a townhouse unit), pipes backing up in our kitchen and bathroom sinks that smell like sewer and leave a filthy black residue at least once a week as well as other minor issues here and there that maintenance is always reluctant to address. Not only are they slow at fixing any issues that occur, when you call to report something, Richard is very condescending and rude. Good tenants are not valued here but instead are treated with disrespect, especially when calling in a problem during his off hours. On top of all this, they have given us notice that the rent will be raised starting next month and we were given no reason at all for this change. The next place we move to, we will be looking for a more professionally run apartment complex that treats it's renters well.
These apartments are older but in a great area. Close to everything. Could use some updating. Too much rent not enough space. Need an upgrade.
Apartment was very clean upon move in, lease signing process was simple. Heat and water/hot water are paid. A good bargain, quiet neighborhood. Walls are mostly concrete so noise from adjacent units is a minimum, a plus for me since i sleep in late
