Property Ratings at Huntley Ridge New Albany
I’ve been here for about a year and I really enjoy living here! The staff are all very nice and help immediately when there’s an issue, the space of the apartments themselves I believe are a really good size for the renting price, no complaints here!

I lived here for 3 years and it was an alright experience. I liked my apartment - it was one of the renovated ones. I never had problems with neighbors. I felt the area was safe and close to a lot. The office staff is terrible at communicating though. It would often take two or three follow up emails to get a single response. They also don't communicate major projects going on the site to the residents. Some projects would have construction crews greatly affect parking or construction would start on the outside of your building at 7AM with no warning. I did not like how my unit didn't have a washer and dryer. The ones in the office use to be terrible to use for a while but they updated them a couple of months before I left and it was a much better experience. I had a maintenance request once and it was fixed quickly. All in all, I was content with my time here.

My roommate and I have lived here for a year now. When we first moved in the management and staff were fantastic. They understood that this was our first time renting and helped us whenever possible. The new owners and staff are horrible! The lady at the front desk is rude. She always has an attitude. Not to mention the fact that they will not allow us to end our lease on the day set previously. Trying to raise prices on us while we are trying to get out of here. The walls are thin. You will always hear neighbors. If you speak at a normal tone in your living room anyone in the hall will hear. All in all the worst possible experience with the new owners. Don’t waste your time or money. Cause they’ll try to take all of your money.

This place is not what it seems to be! They have roaches badly! Trashy bad neighbors that makes noise all night long! Roaches in the hallway! Terrible I recommend no one move here. Good News is that whenever you have a problem they will jump right on it. The leasing lady is very very nice an sweet. Not to mention,Dogg Crap is everywhere you take a step!
Apartments are in bad shape. Lazy work done not worth what you pay. Mean manager would not recommend

We really appreciate your feedback, although it saddens us that you are unhappy with your time at Huntley Ridge. Our maintenance crew works hard and strives to address all maintenance requests within 24 hours of them being submitted. Unfortunately, some repairs are more extensive and could require extra time or outside contractors to complete. If you feel any work completed is not up to standard and would like to sit down and discuss your grievances, we’d be happy to do so. Our office welcomes you at any time during business hours. Please contact us to discuss!
The Manager in the office is very nice. I only had a few items that needed addressed when I moved in and they were fixed right away. I feel at home and really like the location. I'm ready for the road construction to end. Everything else has been GREAT!

Thank you so much for this AWESOME review! We strive to make each and every one of our residents happy, comfortable, and worry-free during their time at Huntley Ridge New Albany! Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you. Also- we are DEFINITELY ready for this construction to be over as well, but it will be worth it in the end!
I'm a current resident and right now my toilet is broke, the A/C won't switch on and the light in the bedroom doesn't work. It has been like this for over a month now. Maintence never answers calls and makes false accusations about coming. Also I was told the basement apartments don't flood, THEY DO FLOOD and nothing will be done about it. I'd look elsewhere.
I went and viewed these apartments on April 19, 2017. The apartment I viewed seemed okay, but the building itself was in shabby condition and the grounds were in dire need of landscaping. It wasn't up to the standards I'm looking for in an apartment complex, but that alone would not be enough to garner a negative review from me. However the property manager, Sarah, was so unpleasant that I feel compelled to leave a review. To start with, she treated me as if I couldn't afford to live to there and didn't deserve the opportunity to view the apartments. That's probably not a good way to treat a prospective resident that you know nothing about. She also seemed upset that I was taking photos of the unit, saying that there are plenty of photos online and to just look at those. Then she got super defensive when I asked if they planned to do any landscaping and just kept insisting that they had mowed on Monday. (That very well may be true but the grounds still looked terrible.) She also had the nerve to tell me that I should try not to be late to future appointments. I had scheduled an appointment at 10AM, but I emailed her saying that I'd be there closer to 10:30AM because I was running long at work, and that I could reschedule if that didn't work for her. She told me that 10:30AM was fine and not to worry about it. But apparently she felt that need to be rude about it. There were various other unpleasantries that I've properly forgotten. But I've been looking at a lot of places and she was BY FAR the rudest staff member I've encountered. If the owner of the complex keeps her as the manager, they're going to have trouble filling their vacancies.
Our apartment was infested with fleas when we moved in, then months later we got bed bugs! Management did nothing. Sarah is very rude and unprofessinal. She doesn't know how to talk to people. The apartments are over picked and small. Sarah also sent our "final balance" to collections BEFORE the due date. DO NOT move here.
I live here and it's an alright place to live. Apartments aren't brand new but are kept up well. Stays pretty quiet for the most part. Parking fills up quickly sometimes. Our neighbors are friendly and so is the management. Not a huge fan of having to pay water and sewer now but not enough difference to make me want to move yet. No real complaints about Cedar Ridge. Plan on staying for a while.
Infested with bed bugs. Management is unwilling to spray. Now charging for water divided by how many bedrooms and people living in each Apt., washer/dryer hookups (whether or not you have a W/D. Sarah does not make residents add people when they move in so it is not fairly divided. "Manager", Sarah, is rude and condescending, and screams at residents when they disagree with her. Sarah seldom answers the phone and is very slow returning calls if at all. Do not move here.
they are slow at fixing things and people are very noisy there
