San Antonio blends a rich heritage with modern innovation, resulting in a metropolis teeming with true Texan heart. San Antonio’s distinctive environment reflects centuries of style and a diverse array of culture, which is best exemplified in the La Villita Historic Arts Village. The Alamo may be the most renowned structure in the city, but there are plenty of magnificent historical buildings to see—from the Emily Morgan Hotel to the Meyer Halff House.
Stretched along the San Antonio River is the famous River Walk, where residents and visitors alike can walk or bike from the San Antonio Zoo to the Witte Museum, the historic Majestic Theatre, the Shops at Rivercenter, the Missions of San Antonio and back again.
The city and the surrounding region offer endless opportunities for exploration.

Property Ratings at Hyperion
I was here for four years. The property area is nice in a centralized area. The rating is low due to unprofessionalism, attempted break-in, and extremely rude and harassing neighbors. I felt very uncomfortable. Bringing the trash to the dumpster with my child was a nightmare as well due to rude neighbors. My apartment's lock had to be replaced due to an attempted break-in that was unsuccessful and caused the lock to break. Walking from my car to apartment I was constantly harassed by neighbors. I had to contact the manager several different times for harassment which was never properly addressed or spoken of afterwards. I was wrongly charged for having a pet when I have never owned one.

We're truly sorry to hear about your experience. Your comfort and safety are our top priorities, and we regret that we didn't meet your expectations. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to review and improve our management and security measures. We apologize for any misunderstanding regarding the pet charge and encourage you to contact our office to resolve this issue. Thank you for your feedback.
Management is awful, Pula from front office is untrust worthy. Any properties owned by Adara is a no-go, beware! These buildings are old and expensive. Your better off elsewhere.
Property Manager at Hyperion, Responded To This Review
Dear Kaylin, Thank you for sharing your feedback we're sorry about your experience did not match your expectation. It was an uncommon instance and we'll do better.
I lived at this complex for a few years and it was not so bad when I first moved in. At first work orders were done timely, usually with in 1-2 days. My first year they gave me incentive to renew my lease by offering me a reasonable rate, $75 off the first month and a carpet wash. The second year you only got one of those three, the last year, i was offered nothing. I warn new renters the management here changes constantly that its hard to keep up with names. It is the reason I finally left. I will add my second year I was given one rate by one lady in the office but when i went to renew she had quit and they did not want to honor the rate, luckily I had it in writing. When it was time for me to renew my last time there I asked if they could give me a better monthly rate because my rate had significantly gone up. The office agent said no so I began to look elsewhere. When I gave them my notice that I would be leaving, then the property manager tried to renegotiate, saying they will give me a lower rate if I didnt leave. At that point it was too late because I had already found another place. It was also upsetting that I did not receive my deposit back. I specifically asked the front office to schedule a walk thru before I left but they never did so my last day I had no choice but to just leave the key. I called and called for weeks about my deposit. When I finally got a hold of a manager, they tried to show me all these bogus billing of things found wrong with the apartment, the toilet paper roll needed to be replaced, the carpet had wear and tear, etc. all things that were in the same condition as I entered. I tried to dispute it with my inventory list when I moved in but once again I called and called trying to talk to a manager but there was never one available to speak with me. I finally gave up my loses. Learn from my mistake, you can find better management elsewhere. If you are gonna rent here, get everything written in writing and take pictures of everything.
Non existent management response. Currently without AC since Friday 06 -10-2016. No ability to leave voicemail. In my 4 years here this has been the worst....Renters beware! It is a shame that I have to use this venue to get a response from management.
Needs much improvement to receive a higher rating from me. To being with outside lighting is very poor around my apartment building. If I were a woman I would be afraid to walk out of my apartment at night. The grounds need much work. Loads and loads of top soil is needed to cover eroded areas where grass will not grow and spinkler pipes are exposed and not pleasant to the eye. Also they are vulnerable to damage. I don't know if the sprinkler systems works because in the six months that I have been here it has never been turned on. The entire area is in dire need or irrigation. The apartment itself needs upgrading. To start, the kitchen cabinets are dated and in ill repair. Some drawers open with great difficulty and they are dificult to close. The stove and refrigerator look like the first used in a unit that is more than 30 years old. The floors are covered with very low grade paper veneered particle boad. The interior walls are in good shape and painted okay. The balconies could use improvement on the floors. The staff, for the most part, is generally cold. There is one staff member who is super friendly and she makes the stay here worthwhile. Other than that, I would not come back here to live. I am moving on the 11th of September to places yet to be determined.
Location is in the middle of the medical district. Price is good for the rooms. Office personnel are very nice and do there best to make it as comfortable as possible. Maintenance personnel are also nice people. Dogs are allowed with additional monthly charge limit 2. Even though animal waste stations are provided just wish neighbors would pick up dog waste. Not all apartments are renovated yet but are being done on a room my room basis I think. We fortunately received a fully renovated appt.
