Terrible place to live! This place is seriously detrimental to your healthy!
I lived there for 22 months. 2 months shy of end of contract when they decided to evict. I complain against noisy neighbors and that didn’t go well with management. I seen 10-12 managers in 4 years. Lack of leadership goes all the way to Miami Astor Companies. Not worth the price. Plenty of other places. Stay away!
I love this community because it's a pretty place, decent homes, and a nice playground for the kids. Also Mrs.Stephanie can be really awesome as long as you don't break her rules. Its has a nice pool and a movie theater for the littles one. I recommend this place for anyone taking a vacation or looking for a place to stay.
Employees act like they care but they don't. If you have ANY OTHER OPTIONS then please GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!
I have lived here for 10 years. Needless to say, I am very satisfied. I have made two service calls that I can remember. Always had quick response and repair. Not bad for 10 years! ?? The staff is very professional and courteous. I love the balcony! I have lived at two other apartment complexes before this, and this is the best. I have never had a mail or package delivery problem, never! In fact, I have had personel get a package delivery after they were off! There' s a Home Depot, Outback and Rouses within 2 blocks. I lived here as a child and returned as an adult because it is such a pleasant place to live. The apartments are spacious and comparable in price to other apartments in the area. There are lovely amenities here including the pool, a movie room, and a gym membership. It is locally accessible to everything in Covington with groceries, entertainment, and work locations nearby. The staff has been wonderful. The maintenance men always come immediately to fix problems and always greet me each day when I see them. The trash pick up men are the same. The front office is great and always available to help. The manager Stephanie has helped us a lot since we first moved in. When we wanted to move to a bigger apartment after a year, and Robbie was there to help us. She is so down to earth and understanding. She helped our transition to be a smooth one. Overall, we are very happy living here!
I moved here two plus years ago, and the expectation of living here has been beyond my dreams. I enter act with must of the employees and they are a great staff!!! They also respond to ever request I've asked for and I received immediate attention to which I am grateful! I also recommend everyone to Ibis Trail it's a great place to live!!!!!!
My home base is Houston where I own my home (outright). I was assigned to work in Covington, which is a great location!. I was commuting from Houston to Covington about every other week - flying back and forth. I chose a 3 Bedroom Apartment at Ibis Trails and one of the advantages was that a Washer and Dryer was included. I got a 3 Bedroom Apartment in case family wanted to come to visit and visit New Orleans. The Facilities, Staff and Service were all EXCELLENT. This was definitely a "Home away from Home" for me. My thanks to Stephanie and the staff for helping to make things happen for me. I just checked out (closed my Lease) because I am returning home to Houston. I have lived here for approximately 5 months with my family. Ibis Trail is a great community to live. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartments are well kept and the grounds are ALWAYS beautiful. The apartments are very spacious for any size family. Amenities are wonderful which include a play ground area ( small) , a pool , movie room and computer area. Whenever I have had an issue with anything the office staff were ALWAYS helpful, quick & understanding. The maintenance crew is amazing! It's always great to see them around taking care of the property ... I would recommend this community to any size family.
Ibis Trails is very poorly run apartment community, with a management staff that really doesn't care and a facility staff that leaves trash near the cans, the trash cans have never been washed and it was so gross to touch the lid and lift it up, very gross. The steps have gum and have never been power washed, the landings outside your door are just as dirty. They do keep the grass cut and nice, but most apartments have old appliances and washer dryers that were so loud you had to close the doors, old faucets, lousy showers and the grout in the showers are old, dirty and moldy. If you have a large dog, there is no where else to go in Covington, but I highly recommend go somewhere else. DN
I have been living in Ibis Trails for about six months now. The apartment unit was nice when I moved in, and has remained a great place. The maintenance staff keeps the grounds up very well, and responds to work orders in a timely manner. I had an issue with my freezer and the maintenance men came by to work on it that day. The workers in the front office are always friendly. I am in there frequently picking up my mail and air filters and Marquita (hopefully spelled right), the lady who works in the office on the left, always greets with a smile and by name. Great staff makes the experience that much better.
I love this place! I have lived here 2 years now and each year it gets better. I love how I never have to worry about parking, fixing anything or relaxing, this place has everything under control. From the salt water pool to the lavish movie room, I love it all. I think what I enjoy the most is the convience of living behind Walmart and walking distance to all the area nice restaurants. I lived in this community and I was really happy. I left just because I had to relocate to another state. Office and maintenance people always treated me right. My kids were happy with the swimming pool and the movie theater. I will highly recommend this property.
Here’s the short version: the gate is a joke, an inconvenience at best, the children have no supervision and cause damages to vehicles, dog feces is everywhere, the constant noise is horrible, the rules are not being followed, and Ibis Trail will do nothing about it. You'll want to beef up on your renters insurance, you're going to need it. The Standard Operating Procedure at Ibis appears to be “Ignore it, and maybe it will go away”. The rules are a ruse to make you think you are moving into a governed community, it's the classic bait and switch scenario. No rules are being enforced, as a direct result, I have incurred over $3000.00 in property damage of which I am responsible for.
My daughters moved into ibis in October, moving is very stressful but with the help of Christie and her wonderful attitude and willingness to help made moving a pleasant experience. Ibis trail has a true asset working for them. Christie was professional and friendly and made sure that everything was in order for their move. Thanks Christi for making our move stress free! I would hope that the management of ibis trail recognizes the employee they have in this young woman. Maybe if more companies had employees like Christie things would go a lot smoother and have happier customers.
Apartment is nice, just got a new AC installed!!! My kids love it here and we plan on staying for a while! Great pool area!!!
Ive been living in Ibis trail for three years now. It has been excellent place for my children and I . The apartments are in a very convenient spot right behind Wal-mart and Rouses. Anytime there's a problem with my apartment maintenance is one call away. The grounds are always nice and clean. The pool area is really nice and the theater is awesome as well. The ladies in the front office are always nice and helpful. The rent is very affordable and the amenities they offer are great. Plus you get a free membership at the Star Fitness gym right in front of the apartments. Ibis Trail is a great place to live!
I've been living here for almost 3 years and we never had a problem until this pass month ....I recently had a package delivered I was not home so they delivered it to the leasing office. I went to go and pick my package up and no one knows where it is or if it was delivered. I call UPS and had them send me the signature of who signed for the package. (One of the leasing agents) She stated that's her signature but didn't know where the package was..... after going back and forth I contact the head office in Florida only for them to quote a paragraph in the lease....so pretty much they can sign for your package it comes up missing and there not responsible!!!! After getting my husband involved they offer us a couple of dollars off the rent for a $500 phone that disappeared. I say all of that to say this....DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH ANY PACKAGES BEING DELIVERED....YOU MAY NEVER GET THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EVEN AFTER THEY SIGN FOR IT THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PURCHASES THAT MAY OR MAY NOT BE REPLACE!!!!!!!
I have lived at ibis for almost 4 years now and the biggest problem is the management. They have replaced everybody in the office including the property manager every 6 months. The property look nice. The apartments look nice. The people are horrible. When I first moved in they screened everyone who moved in very well and it was a really nice place to live. Now this place houses more drug dealers and users than the 9th ward. People are constantly braking to cars. Don't expect the office to help they are so unorganized it's pathetic. Bottom line MOVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!
