Carly was great she made leasing here a breeze . Maintenance is fast and work on issues within 48 hrs . Even the trash people are great everybody in office is always ready to help

Icon one Daytona has the most beautiful view to the international racetrack of Daytona Beach. Also has movie theaters , restaurants and it’s to the beach. I recommend this place for living to explore Daytona Beach.

I was really looking forward to this apartment, but have only had issues since getting the keys. Even before move-in, I called, emailed, and left messages to try and pay my fees with no response for an entire week. Nothing until I showed up in person and insisted that I make a payment, which I had to do through the website that doesn’t show any of my dues….. Now today is my move-in day… and it just got worse…. Not only is there a fruit fly INFESTATION in the entire house, (as I’m quite literally batting them away from me while I write this) the electrical box in my closet is LEAKING WATER into wires and the outlet, so now I can’t even have internet installed in this apartment and the carpet is soaking wet. On top of that, I now have to worry about a safety hazard for being electrocuted or having a fire start while I’m in my sleep. It’s absolutely insane to me that this company charges this much to live here with so many issues. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMMUNITY FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
We have had issue after issue since the day we moved in! Here’s just a few -pretty sure apartment was never cleaned for us before we moved in. Stains on the wood floor, crusty brown stains on the carpets -ac filter looked like it had been there for a year! -patio was for sure never cleaned- cigarettes all on our patio , storage area smelt like cat pee and furniture was left in it -our lock didn’t work so I couldn’t even get into the apartment at first -gave us the wrong key to the back door -washer flooded the hallway the first time using it This was all on the first day! Things have been breaking since Anytime we put in a request no one comes to look at it. My husband has gone and talked to them and they say they will come that day to fix it and never do The worst part is I can smell cigarette and weed smoke coming from our hallway vent.. right outside our babies room… I have emailed and talked with them multiple times they say they will come check it but never do.. husband again has gone to talk to them .. nothing has been done Our breeze way is full of cigarettes Complex never fills the dog poop stations with bags so their is dog poop everywhere The complex just smells of weed There’s mold around or windows I could go on and on! I’m not one to leave a bad review but since the office never seems to care or get back to us I’m just very very frustrated This is a smoke free place and I’m now having to live with cigarette smoke in our apartment.. with our poor newborn The dryer also gets way too hot and heats up the whole apartment! A lot of times are AC stops working I am so beyond frustrated with this office
My opinion: One Icon Daytona is a not very clean housing complex (for example, people do not care about the trash and they deposit it on the floor of the trash containers, and also these trash containers are dirty beyond belief and most of the time the access is quite challenging and risky for the tremendous amount of trash outside the containers), it is also a noisy(including from noisy neighbors and smelly place coming from the Daytona Race Track. Another inconvenience is the significant amount of dog crap on the sideways(if you are a dog-lover, you have to watch out for any flea infestation of your pet). Finally, you have to keep an eye on your car all the time because you can have dents in the parking lot, as gardeners and moving companies don't care about your property( and the management does not give a fuss). I live there eagerly waiting for my lease termination to move to another better place.
The past couple months I lived at Icon were pretty eventful. To begin with, one of the residents that lived here charged a cop and was shot in the parking lot in front of building one. Parties. Every. Single. Weekend. All hours of the night. If that doesn't scare you off, the building's poor insulation and A/C unit will build up excessive moisture inside the home, causing MOLD to start growing on the walls. This mold will then spread to other objects inside your home because mold spores are airborne. One of my previous neighbors had mold growing all throughout her apartment and on her personal items. It didn't affect me until the mold started growing in my apartment. Mold was first noticed around the windows and the door frames. I notified maintenance three times before notifying the office staff and the management company, PMG Assets. At this point, mold had spread to my shoes, my clothes, my sound bar, my mattress, and my furniture. During this process, the only thing done was the mold was cleaned with bleach, which returned within 72 hours. No experts were brought in. No testing was done. It is clear to me that the management company does not care about its residents, or their concerns. I ended my residency at Icon One due to the landlord's failure to maintain the premises. A lot of my items weren't able to be salvaged when moving into my new home. Living here has been one of the worst decisions I have ever made. I advise you look elsewhere for your new home. Be aware of the DANGERS of mold and the health risks involved. Mold can be airborne and it is NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY at Icon One.
This is the most extravagant place ive lived and its so close to everything! its beautiful and the pool is very refreshing
