Property Ratings at Idlewood Apartments
I've lived in these apartments for 2 months . And the last 2 months my air conditioner went out 4 times! I'm very angry!

The office would offer terrible service and support.

I stayed in these apartments in a one bedroom and the experince was amazing. I never had any issues. The staff are also nice as well. I would recommend Idlewood apartments.

Thank you so much for taking the time to briefly reflect on your experience and why you enjoyed your time here. We also greatly appreciate the recommendation.
Idlewood Apartments is a quite, wonderful, clean place to live. The staff is very helpful. Overall, I'm very pleased since my move in April, 2015.
I like the convenience to the interstate; downtown; restaurants in the area and the grocery store along with target real close. I also like the appearance of the community; the grounds are kept clean and landscaping is awesome. The office personnel are always helpful and friendly. The maintenance staff are always prompt on anything requested. The snow removal was great this last winter season; Indiana had the worst winter in a while and the maintenance staff were working all the time. Whitney Kent, Indianapolis, IN
Idlewood Apartments are a wonderful place to live. The plentiful trees and grassy areas make it feel as though you aren't so close to the city, even though you are right off 465. The location is one of the best parts, because the 465 loop is only a minute away. The workout facility is small, but sufficient for someone not wanting the full gym experience. The best part is that it is open 24-7 for those with a busy schedule. The kitchens are much larger than the 18 other apartments we looked at when we first moved to this area, and having the washer/dryer hookups makes life much more convenient. The bedrooms are also a nice size, with a big walk-in closet. The maintenance staff are very friendly and helpful. All of our requests have been taken care of in a timely manner. I love the quiet environment and the homey feel. My complaints are that sometimes the sidewalks are not shoveled as thoroughly as I would like, and there are often cobwebs in the windows of the workout facility. The staff could do more to go above and beyond on these types of things and caring for the community areas, but overall I am very happy living here. I don't plan on moving until we purchase a house or move out of the area. The location is great, the apartments are well cared for and spacious, and the staff is friendly. I would recommend these apartments to family and friends any day.
I haven't had any issues with the apartment complex as far as safety or maintenance problems being addressed. The office staff has stayed the same since I moved here two years ago which is good when you live in this environment. Overall the grounds are maintained decently however, I do have problems with the breezeways being cleaned on a regular basis. The employees in the office are fairly easy to deal with for the most part. The best thing about living in the area is it is conveniently located near grocery stores, shopping, and the interstate.
I have absolutely no complants about Idlewood. The staff is expedient and helpful in resolving issued. It's a quiet community. I'm happy I made the decision to move here.
I give the place 4 stars because it is truly the nicest apartment community in the area and surrounding areas. I have lived in better but if you must live on the west side of Indianapolis and want access to the highways this is the place. VERY affordable and for the most part peaceful. Decent amenities although the gym size and equipment is below average from the other places I have seen. I haven't really had any major maintenance issues but the ones I have had are fixed in the 48 hours time frame they tell you. You can hear your neighbors which is just part of living in an apartment so get over it or buy a house. Parking is a little scarce so you may want to tack on a carport so you have a guaranteed spot. Overall I feel that these apartments have been kept up to date, the staff is professional, it is safer than other apartments in the area, and it is a good deal for the money.
I've been away from my kids for six year's. At first I was srcared but after moving in it became clair that this was the place to be. So peaceful just what I was looking for,Some where to call home!! All the people that work for this I'm gone call dream home are wonderful!! Idlewood !!
I took a tour of this complex and I must say it was a wonderful experience..the prices are excellent for what you may be getting and I look forward to moving in very soon
I currently live here, just moved here and the apartments seem nice so far and I thought was quiet but the section that I am in has noisy neighbors and I made a complaint but nothing was done about it. Oh and the office staff doesn't have a lot of friendly people maybe one or two that actually has spoken to me upon moving in. I hope that I don't regret that I chose these apartments to live in.
If you are looking for a place on the near NW side of Indianapolis, I recommend Idlewood. The office staff and maintenance are very customer-focused, the apartment complex is clean, the apartments are beautiful, open-concept, and clean! I relocated from Virginia, and the grounds being heavily wooded remind me of my former home! The location is perfect for highway travel and can facilitate travel very easily. There are plenty of places nearby to shop, get fuel, or eat. This is such a great place to call home!
very nice complex and well kept property friendly staff great location
I've lived in over 4 apartments in the last 10 years; this is, by far, the worse. The staff is very unfriendly and unwilling to assist should you have any issue (e.g. I've had many problems with noisy neighbors and neighbors who throw items off their balcony; my neighbors are still doing this despite my constant efforts to complain to the front office.). The value for the apartment is a joke; I have my ceiling caving in for the second time, mold/fungus/unknown substances growing underneath my fridge from before I moved in, peeling wallpapers and cracked drywall, a stove with a partially working burner, cabinets that are peeling, etc. My rent goes up while my apartment depreciates from lack of care on the complex's behalf. I'm tired of trying to ask for help from the front office, and I'm tired of complaining when asking doesn't work. I will never, never live in this complex again, and I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
