Zoned in the shape of a trapezoid, Tribeca means “Triangle Below Canal Street,” and is known for its industrial warehouses that have been renovated as sophisticated lofts (and happen to be popular with many celebrities). Full of world-class dining and retail, the neighborhood is ultra-chic, containing an array of luxury, waterfront apartments available for rent.
Tribeca is known for being an elegant escape from the bustle of city life. In addition to its tree-lined streets and lush landscaping, Tribeca draws many families for its close proximity to Hudson Park and many award-winning public schools.
If you enjoy being able to get what you want when you want it, then you’ll be glad to know that Tribeca shops, eateries, and bars are open even later than most in the rest of Manhattan. However, you won’t find a crazy nightlife scene. Late nights in Tribeca tend to be more low-key.
The neighborhood hosts the famous Tribeca Film Festival every year.

Property Ratings at Independence Plaza
Luxury Rental. Poor management. The building needs to be cleaned, renovated or demolished. The advertising of the management company doesn’t match wit reality. Avoid to travel to the leasing office. Tribeca in plenty of ne constructions.
The Harrison building is fantastic, it has great amenities and the tenants are fantastic as well. Excellent doormen (and woman) who are friendly and courteous. There is a gym and a laundry for those who don't have a washer dryer in their unit. The views are great of the city and NJ. I highly recommend it if you can afford the exorbitant rent.
This is a great building to live in - full of young professionals, families, and long time residents. Friendly doormen and management, with a great neighborhood and unbeatable views. The only small issue is that hallways aren't as kept up as the lobby is.
My wife and I love our place its close to the A C and 2/3 subway lines super clean neighborhood, quiet on the weekends and super safe Tribeca
