Indian Creek Townhomes

I just moved in and the apartment is sufficient. However, there are some issues that remain: - The refrigerator keeps tripping the breaker and then letting the food spoil. I've lost 2 sets of food to it so far. The first time, the maintenance gentleman couldn't find the issue. The second time he pulled apart the breaker and the refrigerator and still couldn't find an issue. Hopefully I will not have to lose a third set of groceries... time will tell. - A previous review noted marijuana smell. I, too, have my apartment inundated with marijuana smell nearly every afternoon. I open the windows to air it out. - A previous review noted very thin walls. I can attest to this and recommend a sound machine, ear plugs, and eye coverings to block out the snoring, conversations, TV sounds and flood lights that permeate the bedroom (despite venetian blinds). I do not think these things are insurmountable, but the refrigerator issue is frustrating given that it is costing groceries/money.

Please do yourself a favor and find a home to rent. If I knew better, I would’ve done just that. In summary: they overcharge you for the quality of life you receive while living here. Apartment: The walls are so, so thin, you can hear your neighbor using the bathroom, whispering, smoking weed and cigarettes, and having a private conversation. I could’ve even talk in my normal inside voice because I knew someone could hear me. The builders did a terrible job with insulation and building this property. The area around the townhomes is not bad actually. It’s the townehome itself. You’re responsible for mowing the backyard, which wasn’t the case when I first moved in. And when that rule changed, there was no notice to the tenants, or at least I was never notified. That’s fine, no biggie, as they provided a weed eater. Just something to consider. It’s overall way to pricey but unfortunately it is the nicest apartments around here. But please explore your options first.

I was relocating for work and the manager, Nicole and her staff; made the entire process easy and from over 2.5 hours away. They even helped walk me through setting up all the utilities. Their excellent customer service clearly showed they had my best interests at heart. Apart from the wonderful staff, I love the unit. It's quiet, and everyone is respectful and neighborly. The layout is great and my unit, even though it's one of the smaller ones, is spacious and the bedrooms are big. A cute little fenced in backyard.... there's a lot of bang for your buck for sure. I highly recommend reaching out if your looking for a place since they tend to fill up fast. Always call even if it shows "no availability". I called and I snatched up the very last unit and glad I did!

I was told the “Town Home” was never lived in, turns out that is not true. I would ask to walk the one you are going to live in first. Then there is living there. Want to smell your neighbors smoking weed jamming bass at 1am? This is the place for you! Every Friday night is a party and the walls are paper thin so even with out the music you will be able to hear all their coversations!

Finding Indian Creek Townhomes was exactly what my husband and I needed when moving to Brownwood from out of town. This is the only new and up to date living facility within the whole town. The units are spacious with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a great backyard if you have pets. They have also recently added a dog park. The property manager is always friendly and helpful. She has even met us after hours to give us a copy of our lease. I cannot speak highly enough of the apartments and the people working here. This truly is the best living experience in Brownwood!

My wife and I were moving to the area and had no idea where to live. We called Indian Creek and scheduled a day to come visit. From the moment we walked in, we knew we had struck gold. House hunting can be a hassle, but here it was like hanging with old friends. I am super picky and asked to see about 6 different spaces and they did it with a smile on their faces. Moving from a large city to a small town isn't easy, but they have continuously given us advice on where to eat, where to meet friends and local fun things to do on the weekends. We are very thankful to Nicole and her team. Y'all come check it out- we could always use more friends.
