I was going to rent here, paid the application fee and was concerned about the reviews. I directly asked them, if there was issues with the AC's, roaches, and all the issues with grounds. The response was, I hear your concerns, do you want to continue and sign paperwork. She wouldn't answer my questions! Huge red flag! Hope this helps others looking for a place.

The absolute worst place to live! The pictures show much different than what you get. I have ran into so many unhappy, deceived tenets. The office never has any answers to your questions, they always say " we'll get back with you" and never do. Maintenance orders are always weeks even months behind. Dog poop and trash everywhere even when they have a lawn company come out every week. Huge bug problem! Roaches, tiny spiders and gnats! You have to request for pest control to come spray even when they charge a fee every month. This place is trash believe all the bad reviews because they are incredibly true! We move out in 2 weeks after being here 2 years and I can't hardly wait! DO NOT MOVE HERE PEOPLE! VERY OVER PRICED AND FULL OF BUGS AND EXCUSES!!!! ?

My AC has been broken for 3 weeks. I've called so many times and nobody has even come to look at it. The apartment is barely liveable.
I really love these apartments! I’ve loved here ten years and moved out and then back once because nothing I found beat the amount of square footage you get + the great prices + the location. It’s literally the trifecta of things you want in Castle Hills. I hear what people say about the AC but honestly since the new management company, Shippy, came in they make such an effort listen, and fix anything they have control of. Eric and especially kristi are very helpful and knowledgeable and the staff responds to issues right away. If the don’t, they own up to it and fix it ASAP. I seriously love this property. They are always holding great little events, book exchanges, pizza parties, and during COVID they’ve managed to keep fun stuff going on that doesn’t require us to come in contact. Food trucks are out on the weekends a few times a month and they’ve made a lot of efforts to upgrade some of the older units. Like I said- ten years, 8 leases and about to sign another! I’ll happily live here until we buy our own home.
Staff were unprofessional on communication common courtesy. I was trying to move in to their establishment. I put application and after week of no call back or emails, I even left them voicemails and nothing. I even tried to dispute for refund for application fees due to their lack of due process application process follow up but leasing employee told me they “can’t refund applications”. I personally felt they robbed my money!
This apartment complex is going downhill. The office personnel is courteous but lack the job experience to keep up with this complex. The maintenance issue are taken down (mentally, not in system or calling staff to verify) with a grain of salt. I don't understand why have two desk if only one employee is actually working. It takes days for reported issues to staff or online to be reviewed, then to get them to maintenance. They fail to know how to prioritize and delegate orders efficiently. Example: Issues such as toilets and AC units are not being taken seriously. You have to go up the ladder to get anything taken care of and the maintenance staff is very rude.
My daughter was threatened and harassed by assistant manager for no reason, had to file police report and now have parole for our safety, toilets constantly overflowing, were told by maintenance they need to be replaced, never did that, no parking, unless you don’t work or go anywhere, gates always broken, other than that , if you enjoy the night life of noisy traffic, ambulance, fire trucks, loud rap music and , want to pay to not sleep, this place is for you!
I have been a resident here since July 2019. In that time, I have experienced several issues with the management of this property below: My first issue encountered was when the unit I was supposed to move into on July 10th wasn’t ready, and I was given notice on July 9th that it would be ready for another 2 weeks. I was signed into a new lease with a move in date of July 15th after going into the office and demanding correction of the error. My new unit had mold in the A/C closet, and it took 2 weeks to fix it (they sprayed bleach and then painted over it). In all of the issues described above, not once have any concessions been offered to me for the leasing team's negligence. I repeated reached out to the (now prior) property management, Knightvest Apartment Management, at their corporate phone number and email alias requesting a call/email back. I have never even received the courtesy of a phone call to apologize for all of the hassle that I went through. The property was recently taken over by a new investment group known as Shippy Property Management. I highly doubt they will so much as respond to this review with a lackluster apology. Or simply blow this review off due to the fault of the prior management team. In short, do yourself a favor and move anywhere else. The only redeeming quality that earns 2 stars on this review is the cost of rent. Avoid this property at all cost if you value what you pay for.
They have great events for the holidays. Prizes, food and music. It’s a great way to meet the neighbors.
DONT DO IT ,WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER LIVED!!!! They never know anything, they blame the tenants for whatever goes wrong. My apartment got FLOWED about 3 months ago and then the ROACH INFESTATION came, I have a BABY and a PREGNANT wife and after almost 4 months I’m still LIVING UNDER THE SAME UNSANITARY CONDITIONS, and they seem to not give a flying F*** about it, my sons high chair was INFESTED with ROACHES also I had to throw it out, the chair was $165 and they refused to pay for it!!!! All of this because of their NEGLIGENCE!! Don’t believe those 5 star reviews, they were probably written by the staff. Please for your own sake look for more options. They are tricking the ppl that come here for the 1st time. THIS IS PLACE IS INSANE
There’s so many things wrong here. Gates don’t work, mail boxes get constantly broken into. If you have any Maintenance issues they will take months before it gets resolved. Roaches everywhere, grass doesn’t get cut. Horrible customer service!!
Apartments are in good order and well maintained. Great for pets. Office is also very helpful with any questions. However, online payment portal for rent keeps changing. I've been falsely charged late fees 6 different times and had to submit all sorts of paperwork to get them refunded. Also, there is also now a convenience fee for paying rent online, which is the only way to pay rent. Super shady and milking tenants for as much money as possible. But great apartments.
I have lived in several apartment complexes throughout San Antonio. Indigo apartment has by far been the best place to live. The apt. complex is clean, quiet and safe. The office staff is friendly and willing to help in any way that they can. Repairs are taken care of quickly and professionally. I love that they regularly have special events for the residents such as Easter breakfast, Ice cream parties, BBq's, super bowl parties, etc. Thank you, Jessica and Andrea, for helping me and my family feel at home here at Indigo Apts.
HORRIBLE APARTMENT COMPLEX! I've recently moved into this apartment complex and all I can say is that if I were able to give 0 stars, then I most definitely would. My roommate and I have lived here for less than a month and the amount of issues we've had with maintenance is RIDICULOUS!!! From our toilet flooding on the second day of moving in, to finding huge holes under the carpet, these things are some that you don't see at walkthrough. But let me be very loud in clear in saying that the worst problem here is the parking! There's absolutely NO PARKING ANYWHERE after 9pm and if you park anywhere else, the WILL TOW and when confronted with this issue, the most they could account for was "we're working on it". Unfortunately, I'm here for another 11 months but you don't have to be so PLEASE save yourself the trouble!
These are the nest apartments I have ever had! They are spacious, have great lighting and so much storage for a one bedroom. All at a reasonable price. They have the nicest CARE team that puts together events and get togethers to bring the community together. There's something for everyone here I really recommend to give this place a shot.
We love it here. Maintenace is on top of things and the office staff is helpful and friendly. They have a couple of events every month just for residents to get to know each other and a team on site just for this reason. Only a company who cares does that. It’s also convenient to everything. I reccomend to friends.
Have no problem with apt. been here four years they are very big, not like most apt. a lot of money very little space. Yes A.C. is problem but they try and fix once it get fix, it might go off again but they will get right on it, friendly people and helpful. Location is good 2 min. from H.E.B. and Santa Rosa Hospital. Wal Mart is 5 min. away. 15 from me and wife job. If your a complainer this it not the place for you.
As anywhere , everyone is super friendly and ready to move you in with amazing specials ..By far my worst experience ever here at Indigo Knightvest Apartment. Not saying they dont have beautiful units but rather pay rent somewhere where they can actually take care of the property as well as their management. You dont see the same people around. Oh, The horrible smell of odor outside when they have their friendly pets dumping outside your building.. make sure you take a good picture and confront the person because management staff wont do a thing unless they have proof and you first confront the person. Laundry Facility is not well maintain. Safety is not there, this is not a closed community. I have all the proof
Unfortunately, Indigo is not how it advertises itself. It says a gated community even though the gates have not been closed to the public since before February. Also your personal belongings are not safe here. The mailboxes get broken into frequently. Closing the gates may help this but we'll never know since they won't close the gates. It also takes about 2 months to get any work order to be fixed and if they do come in and fix it be prepared to board your pets as they will mistreat them. Moral of the story: unless something changes, don't live here unless you have no pets and are okay with have a Post Office box in order to protect yourself. This all makes very upset to post as I love my unit and like my neighbors but if nothing changes I'll have to move out when my lease expired for my own safety

I recently moved in and honestly I love my unit apartment, I am a very clean person and of course will take care of it like my home, BUT I just wish I had my work orders actually finish and done! I have a big HAZARD issue on my balcony. The wood floor/planks are not securely nailed right that looks like its literally going to break and someone is going to get injured. My dishwasher is also leaking and the water is smelling cause pipe wont drain water out. Also, another thing I need to point out is the washer facility needs ALOT of work. None of those machines work and its DIRTY! I hope to have a timeframe atleast of my work orders.

I woke up to no windows on my apartment with no notice at all and strangers in my apartment. My apartment refuses to believe that happened. Even with video. My management even told me when I was explaining that they should use our messaging system on our portal for important messages like having no windows, the manager said that doesn't exist on the site, I explained that it does, she said, "well would you like to come over and show us because it doesn't exist." Now I'm having to call our management's management in Dallas. They came into my apartment with no 48 hour notice, moved my things around, covered my entire apartment in dust, they've ruined one of my rugs, there's splinters everywhere and sticking out of the wall, hand prints stained on the wall, broken window sill that has air coming in and out so AC will be $$, and now my only print is covered in dust and I'm trying to clean it off without scratching it. Also, if you come home after 8pm, you won't have parking. I've had to pull up on the lawn because there's no where else to go and no assigned parking and too many tenants with too little spots and no limit to how many spots you can take. Also, maintenance takes up 5 spots at a time because they leave tools and wood there instead of in the grass. If you have a problem, good luck, they "take your messages" and will pass them on to Destiny (the manager) and she'll never call you back. I asked why they didn't schedule or message maintenance on their new portal site, they said that doesn't exist...when on our end you can clearly see that it does, so with an attitude, Destiny told me that I could "come to the office and show them" because the site doesn't work like that. We get emails from the site every time we pay rent and make maintenance requests, so clearly that's a lie. When I moved in, they didn't inspect my apartment at all, I had no working AC, no hot water, and no electricity in most outlets. It took forever to get it fixed, and it was wonderful moving in 100 degree weather and no AC. Also, the mailboxes break all the time, so I've caught people rummaging in mailboxes that aren't theirs, so have fun if there's bills or personal items in your mail! Also, there's shattered glass everywhere in the parking lot because the dumpster is always over flowing and smells horrible. The gates are always broken, so don't consider this a "gated community." They also messed up my contract 4 times because they couldn't remember the rent
The new management at indigo apartments has been abysmal and have lied directly to my girlfriend's face. Since living here we have had nothing but issues and the management simply does not care. With this past hail storm our roof is leaking and they have done nothing about it. Water is leaking inside the apartment and the ceiling is starting to mold. When we asked if they would fix the issue. Management told us they would put a tarp over the roof two days ago and when we checked we didn't see a tarp and with the rain this weekend our smoke detector and ceiling are completely soaked. We are tired if being lied to. The conditions are unsafe, management lies, and we are simply tired. Anyone remotely looking to move here should look elsewhere.
The staff was very kind and very patient with me while I was trying to get approved. When I got keys to the apartment it was spotless and freshly painted. Apartments are very nice and very cute. I imagine I am going to be very happy here.
The location on this apartment complex is fantastic. Easy commutes to Medical Center, Downtown and North Side SA. Less than a mile walk to Hardberger Park, with natural wooded walking trails basketball courts, soccer fields, public dog park and playground. Complex has tennis court, dog park and two pools. Parking was a little competitive until they started a permit program (free for residents), which seems to have alleviated the stress. The buildings are a little bit older, but renovations are ongoing so you can get an updated unit. My only complaint is that that water pressure is very low, but I'm not sure if that's specific to my building or whether it's a complex-wide issue.
WORST APARTMENTS EVER!!! I was pregnant last summer and my AC was broke and they ALWAYS said they fixed and trust me, they NEVER fixed it. This summer my baby is 6 months old and the AC still isn't fixed and now my poor baby is sweating. They are absolutely horrible. They don't fix anything even though they say they do. The entire complex is falling apart. The ceiling is caving in, my floor is about to cave in on the people beneath my sink pipes have mold all over them and the water leaks out. Manager is useless and says "what do you expect?" I expect for you t fix things and have a better run apartment complex.
We have lived in this apartment for over two years. We have had the AC serviced more times than I can count and it still isn't fixed. The office staff has changed over the last two year. This current July/2015 group of office workers are kind and organized. I have had encounters with rude, unhelpful, and combative office staff while living here, but this group is the best so far. The pool maintenance has been slack this summer. Light fixtures broken, dirty inside and outside the pool. It is advertised as a gated community, but honestly the front gate stays open during the day and the other gates barely work long enough to be closed at night. We do not plan to renew our lease at the end of the year because of unqualified maintenance staff, low quality amenities, and inflated rent.

We have been residents here for about 9 months, we have previously lived in what you might consider more upscale living. Not only is the staff at Braesview super nice, the maintenance staff is pretty good too. I have never had to ask more than once for a problem to be fixed and we have never had any crime issues in this complex. For the price we pay on a 2 bedroom, it is really the best value for the area. My only concern would be the pool, it does need to be cleaned better, but it is only April.
I moved in a month ago and love it!!!! The office staff is so friendly and makes me smile every time I call or go into the office. My apt is so spacious and so much storage too!!. please check this place out!! you will not be disappointed!. They have a lot of amenities and They do a lot a functions for the residents which is so much fun for my kiddo and I!!
If you are as picky as I am, I would not choose these apartments to live in. When I moved in, my apartment was not presentable. The spray paint from where they painted the counters and walls were splattered on the mirrors and along the walls and fire place, very tacky. The blinds in the living room were dirty and chipped, like something had been chewing on them. The door does not secure unless you lock both bolts, other than that, the door just pops open. The pipes under the sink, smells and has an odor. The paint job on the walls are very poor. If the staff tries to give you a "special" on an apartment, make sure that it is to standard. Whatever they present to you, make sure that's what you get.These buildings are very old and should be remodeled, inside AND out, above, and below. I will be departing from SA, but when I return I will find another place to stay.
I was excited to moveinto these apartments because I loved the location, and the price was very reasonable. Soon after I moved in however they changed management companies and thats when my experiences changed. They lost my check twice and the second time was my final balance check which they sent to a debt collector. Then when they do lose your check all they can do is say sorry. Also expect to have a high electric bill, the energy effiency is non existant and the AC units are ancient. Sadly because of my experiences at this complex I am also avoiding any communities run by their management company.
I have been here for a year and I love these apartments. I love the fact that if you drive through the complex during the day time it looks like a ghost town because everyone is out and working...i havent seen any people just hanging outside or wondering around like some other complex's that I have visited were you find guys hanging around the parking lot up to no good. By 6 pm you will see the parking lot practically fool again people people are coming home from work. The time that I had to call maintenance they have come and resolve my problems asap. Office personnel are nice and friendly. Property is well kept and have done great updates to the property. I have come late at night home and I feel safe. Love these complex. Would recommended. Floor plans are super spacious as well.
They have changed their name to avoid all of the existing complaints. Consider yourself warned! These apartments are old and are falling apart. They have started to "update" the outside of the property only, but are always cutting, sawing, pouring concrete, patching roofs and making ridiculous amounts of noise. My ceiling partially caved in and it was like pulling teeth to get it patched, then painted, then they left my ceiling fan on the floor and they forgot to reinstall it. When I called back I was told the maintenance request was closed. My toilet handle broke off and it took two days for them to replace the cheap plastic handle, so that the toilet would flush and my water heater was slowly leaking over a couple of weeks into my downstairs neighbors apt. He said that maintenance told him it was my water heater, but never did anything about it. So, weeks later he ended up with a major water leak in the middle of the night because maintenance never followed up on the original leak. The minor painting and railings they are adding are not enough to make this a nice place to live I assure you!
