Like the name implies, this district is home to the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Although this neighborhood is a clear choice for students, faculty, and staff, the University District offers allure far beyond the campus. The neighborhood is filled with restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping options. Boulevard Mall offers over 100 stores selling everything from candles to shoes to candy. There is also an abundance of entertainment available within or near the community.
University District is home to several quirky museums including the Pinball Hall of Fame. SeaQuest Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Convention Center are also housed in the district. On top of stellar amenities and fun-filled activities, University District is in a prime location. The McCarran International Airport is four minutes from campus and the world-famous Las Vegas Strip is only seven minutes away.

Property Ratings at Indigo at Sunset Park
I have lived here for 5 years, it was terrible. But for the past year, since the new management has taken over everything has changed for the better. They have done a lot of renovations, new staff members, new security, new fitness center along with new outdoor charcoal grills and new upgrades to the pool area. Before everything changed I was going to break my lease but I'm glad I waited to see the results of the upgrades, because anywhere else I would be paying way more money with less square footage. I extended my lease and haven't had any problems, staff at the office are very helpful and patient and will do everything they can for approvals.

Your praise for our new team and the many improvements around our community made our day. Thank you for being a loyal resident for five years! We look forward to many more.
Pictures on here are all lies. Office management and staff are the worst, very unprofessional and rude. Needed maintenance done at my apartment, takes months for them to come fix it. Replaces broken appliances with another broken appliances. Cockroach infested apartments. Not family friendly, not safe, fake security. Highly NOT RECOMMENDING this place to ANYONE. STAY AWAY.
I got this apartment for my children to live. After deciding not to renew my lease, I gave 30 day notice and a forwarding address. They also had my cell# and a credit card on file! I never got a bill, after paying every month for a year. They gave me no bill and put it on my credit like I refused to pay. I've called begged and asked but no one even returns my calls. Bad bad stay away.
We had to move in here, and we had to sign another lease, PLEASE DO NOT MOVE IN HERE. The maintenance will never show, the property manager will avoid you, they will misquote rent and make it your problem, they will lie and lie and lie. The apartment itself is the only thing that starts to make up for it, but after 2 years we wish we never moved in.
The apartment is a decent little spot. I was impressed by the layout and size. The inside is pretty ugly and the neighborhood is very close to one of the worst parts of town. However, for the price, I figured it was worth a shot because I need to move quickly and don't have time to save for something nicer. Boy was I wrong. I had an easier time renting apartments in Whitney Ranch than I've had renting this halfway house. The staff is unresponsive and always have an attitude. They don't know the answers to basic questions. I asked why the price went up over night(as in, is it related to the amount of vacancies or to the price in the area?) and they continued to respond by saying, " it just did. We do that." They denied me even though I meet all the qualifications and have never had an eviction or late payment because a collection record has a vaguely rental property sounding name(its not a rental property, it's a hotel). I called the hotel and they have no idea what I'm talking about. I already put down a $100 deposit and paid $45 (which is ridiculous for the area) to apply. If this was a decent apartment I would understand but this place is like a D on attractiveness, has no amenities, and is located right next to the hood and they will still give you a huge list of qualifications you have to meet like they're actually worth something. Forget it, they can keep the application fees because I've been 100% turned off by them and their attitude like they don't even want tenants.
New Port Cove East looked good online and in pictures and the model looks nice but none of the pools are properly cleaned. The maintenance is half done, and the buildings are roach infested. Beyond those defaults their units have nice garden tubs and the units themselves are pretty spacious. There happens to be two elementary schools in less then a mile from the complex.
