Property Ratings at Indigo West
This complex used to be amazing. There is always trash every where, homeless and shady people just come in and walk around because The gates and doors to the gate have been broken since the beginning of this year. The pools are Filthy and always broken. It takes forever to complete work orders. I have been here for a year and a half and honestly it has gone downhill. It was not like this when I first moved in! I was please when I first got here last year! Every time I ask about the pools or complain about the trash they always say they are working on them, but they never get fixed. It is the middle of summer and we still cannot get into the pools. The playground for the kids has graffiti all over. It has garbage all over it, cigarettes and weed can be smelled everywhere. The staff in the office are great when you go speak to them but that’s about it, Nothing gets done. I have two kiddos and I have to leave my complex to go to a pool or playground or even for a walk because this place isn’t safe enough, clean enough and both pools are disgusting!

When I told the management of pest troubles they sent some guy to squirt some insecticide and attracted more roaches ,as well as when the HVAC unit leaked all they did was put two fans ,the cabinets were falling off because the HVAC leaked into the walls of the kitchen and left half of the kitchen full of mold , I tried to tell them and the management sent me an eviction notice and due to my heart problems I wound up leaving but my advice to y'all is if y'all want to invest on a good rent go elsewhere fast do not go to indigo west they will put makeup on an ugly pig and charge you half your soul for a littany of roaches , bad HVAC , bad kitchens , poor management, and wet carpets that can give into black mold oh and p.s. the black mold affected my lungs .

Your feedback is important to us, and we encourage you to reach out to our resident services team at residentservices@indigowest.com to discuss your concerns further. You ask maintenance to fix something and they close the order saying it was fixed but they don't. Children vandalize cars, neighbors dirty the door of your house, garbage thrown in the door of your house of old residents and nothing is done to improve. They charge you for pest control but the service doesn't work. My ceiling is full of mold and they don't call anyone to fix it. Come live here if you are willing to put your health and safety at risk.

We have been living in hell in this place for eight months living with cockroaches, they are everywhere and go anywhere you can imagine. The condominium did a pest control after much insistence from us and even so 1 month later it continues with cockroaches everywhere. We believe that the whole building is infested and that is why cockroaches do not disappear from our apartment. We have videos of several months and I am writing this morning because they were in our bed and we have reached the limit of doom!

I live here currently and like it very much. My apartment is completely upgraded with new appliances. Love the three walk in closets, storage closet on screened in porch, linen closet, and pantry. I would suggest that you live on the upper floors facing the interior lake. It is quite pleasant. The only reason I would move is we are planning to purchase some property by next year. The staff is pleasant and maintenance work hard to complete repairs.

Hello Valued Renter! We are touched! Thanks for taking the time to leave us such a well-written review about our community and dedicated team. We are excited to welcome you home!
Absolutely beautiful building and amenities. Top of the line everything throughout the unit and the property. Outstanding staff from the initial tour, leasing process, move in and now as a resident. Kesha and Joanna go above and beyond. The location is really convenient, easy access to universal and some of the best restaurants and bars in town. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, family friendly apt in Orlando. Grateful to call Indigo West home.
I recommend it as it is a great help when looking for a place to live

It means a lot to us that you are recommending our community. Thank you for the wonderful review. We hope you keep enjoying Indigo West for many years to come!
The service is very bad. They don't pick up the garbage every day. The common areas are very dirty. There are neighbors who use drugs in the common areas. The kitchen and fridge are not working, and the maintenance staff doesn't know. I want to leave soon and I would not recommend these residences to anyone. It is very expensive and the service is very bad.

My roommates and I signed a 13 month lease here last year in June and it has been a nightmare ever since. We had to live in a hotel for a week because they pushed our move in date back a week stating that they would have all improvements done by the new move in date. We show up on the newly agreed upon move in day to pick up the keys and we were told that they needed a few more hours and wouldn’t be able to give us the keys. So with no other choice we waited, once we received the keys we did a walk threw with the young lady from the office were we found multiple problems she assured us that it would all be taken care of with in that first week. Now here I am 11 months later and we are still having many of the same issues the floor leading to the living room from the kitchen has been replaced twice and is still uneven and a safety hazard. The paint on the kitchen and bathroom walls need to be fixed we’ve been told they are going to take care of it but have yet to do so. None of the closest doors stay on track and now they recently changed the AC unit because it was leaking into the people down stairs house. However now the new unit is leaking in my house leaving puddles on the hallway floor atleast once a week, they have come and said they have fixed the unit but it still leaks. Although all of this is bad I have been saving the best for last we now have a RAT problem I was told by the front office staff that it is all of building 10 with this issue but I’m not sure that they have it as bad as we do. The rats are now free roaming our apartment moving from the laundry room where we first found them to now being seen in the hallway mind you they are the size of kittens. We agreed to pay more for a upgraded apartment but they refuse to fix even the smallest problems to make us feel like we are getting our moneys worth. They list this as a gated community however the gate have only been in good working condition 1 month out of the entire time I have lived here. Honestly I only gave them one star because I had to I wish I could’ve giving them no stars at all.
Four years ago, I lived in this place. I was there a year and a half. The first year, the leasing staff at the time lost my rent in the month of September. They then claimed they never keep receipts. This was told to me by a previous employee, her name was Angel. They went on to change companies three times while I was there. I had a downstairs neighbor, Yo-Skip, who constantly called the police on me telling them I was creating some sort of weapon and hurting his ears with 'infrared noises'. I have had both the police and every manager check my apartment, with and without my permission. Nothing was found, I never received an apology, only a 'you can transfer apartments, but you will have to sign a new lease and pay an additional deposit'. I had someone staying with me because I feared for my safety; the downstairs neighbor had threatened to cut me. I know this because he had announced it to the Property Manager at the time, and she called me. She refused to repeat it to the police. I was penalized for having someone else with me, but nothing was said about the threat. I was there when the security guard was murdered. Allen was his name. I saw him a few hours before hand. The name of the place was Sabal Palms at the time, and yes, it was still a gated community. I hadn't updated my email in some time and was apartment hunting, and this place came into my email, asking me to review my experience. Fours years later, my feelings haven't changed. A warning to all, STAY AWAY. Don't let the first impression fool you.
Horrible!! I am currently resident at this place.Well, where should i begin! First of all i have signed a contract ( signed the lease and had official paper and deposit put it) and on my moving day, i have contacted wiht office ot make sure they are ready. Not only i have perfect credit and clean history they asked me for $750.00 deposit.Umfortunantly, they told me apartment is not ready. When i had a truck, movers and all my staff ready. So i had to look for place to stay for one more week. Finally i moved in week later and on the first night my car got broked in, so i had to replished my driver seat window. Just two weeks ago my car got broked in AGAIN and i had to replace my window again. This past saturday i stopped by office and tell them that i am moving out. I have not received any warning or offer to stay letter in my mail box. Leasing assistant politly told me that i can not move out and i have to wait follow the contract which means to have 60 days, so i have to stay and pay more than my leasing contract. After explaining the whole living experience at this place, leasing assistant said: there is nothing we can do! Not only i had to stay here extra 20 days past my leasing contract, but plus to pay them and make sure my car is not gonna get break in again!! Just wow!! i will post this review to each apartment website i can possible can!
Live at the Indigo Apartments in Orlando, FL, a gated community, with onsite patrol. with amenities that keeps you active onsite. close to all stores. commuting to work would be just a short drive away. let's not forget, you have Universal Studio 8 min, Sea World 15 min, and the love for Mickey Mouse Just 20 min. why look anywhere else. when you can vacation right at home.
This is a very quiet community with walking/driving distance to grocery shopping, restaurants and theme parks. The tenants are pretty much to them selves for the most parts. If you have small children try for a ground floor the ceilings are pretty thin so you can here normal foot traffic. Armed security guards are always present the gated community an completely secured. The staff can sometimes be a pain in the butt and unpleasant however maintenance. We had a mold issue that was not resolved to my satisfaction so I would give this property 3 stars.
Love this complex .... so quiet and serene with a beautiful lake housing ducks and turtles. I intend to stay here for quite awhile .... would love to win that "rent for life" so I can stay here for life!
Of course, when potential resident seekers are looking to move in, staff are incredibly efficient and polite. But what I think shows true customer service is the wI'll to provide great service even when residents are locked in a one year lease. I'm proud to call Indigo West my home because people work there that try their best to make it feel like that. That is important to me because I'm moving down the country not knowing anyone! The apartments are clean, amenities galore and it's in a prime area! The two luxurious swimming pools don't hurt either.
We've lived at Indigo West for about a month now and while everything seems nice, there are some glaringly obvious problems. Maintenance is horrible. One hour into moving in we realized the place was infested with ants, and the maintenance staff had a "we touched it so it's done" attitude. Paint and wallpaper were sloppy, our keys weren't made until 4 pm on the day we moved in (our mailbox keys took 2 additional weeks), our weather stripping needed replaced, and I'm honestly amazed the laminate on the kitchen cabinets is still holding on. And finally, here's the kicker, our security system doesnt work. Its taken 3 weeks for someone to even look at any of this (except the ants, that was actually done that week- thank god), and even then they were going to "ask their supervisor about it." We haven't heard anything. Now for the office. The office staff is very nice and very helpful, but you can't expect to have anything done unless you talk to them directly, face-to-face. You will never get a response or call back if you leave a message. We've tried. It's been the case 3 times. Despite all of this, I personally feel safe here. It is a gated community, the gates do work, and if you see anyone, they are all minding their own business. I haven't yet used any of the amenities, but the workout facility seems nice. We chose this apartment primarily due to the price and the proximity to school (among other frequently visited places.) Comparable to other apartments we looked at, this was one of the lower cost options with still a fair amount of square footage. Essentially, you get what you pay for, I just wish we got a little more bang for our buck.
Pools are always dirty. Gates are always broken and that can lead to non-residents coming into the apartment complex. Rent is a bit too expensive.. $1200 for a 2-bedroom.. But gym is nice. Park is nice. Spacious bedrooms.. enough closet space and kitchen space. Nice kitchen. Nice bathrooms.
The apartment complex is gated and very nice but the only thing I really didn't like is that 1 it's very expensive and 2 the apartment complex doesn't come with a washer and dryer. They do have a little laundry mat in the apartment complex and I must say, the washing machines are very nasty. Other than that, the apartments are ok.
Once upon a time, there were three college students, they lived happily together in their castle for one year. As the story goes, it was a magical time, of course, the apartment had it's flaws, but the staff in charge of protecting their home were excellent and attentive, and the maintenance crew keep the castle grounds looking beautiful. The three college students felt lucky to live in such a kingdom, but were looking for better job opportunities near the far off land of Orlando. With all it's theme parks, and attractions, Orlando felt like the best opportunity for the three college students to start their careers. So with heavy hearts they set out to find a new castle and on their journey they found Indigo West. It was a little rough around the edges, but the deal they were getting, allowed them to overlook the bad. The college students signed a lease. The next few months were the worst the three college students had ever encountered in a castle. They experienced cockroaches of all shapes and sizes devouring and contaminating every inch of their kingdom. Their were loosing faith in their staff as well, as the staff ignored their pleas to help. Legal measures were threatened to be taken, and only than did the property manager get involved, and things begin to change. The unit itself was falling apart, and the appliances were broken, the three college students had no options. They had no where else to turn. The maintenance men were slow and rude, and never fixed the problems either. The pools were dirty, and they tested the fire alarms without notification. Needless to say, the college students did their best to stay happy in their new castle, but it could not be done, for everything came to a head, when the college students overheard the office staff talking about the residents in a very evil way. The college students hung their heads in shame for what they had done. For a word of warning should be taken: Don't ever sign a lease with the kingdom of Indigo West. You will regret it.
These apartments are not what you may think. When you move in it looks good, the neighborhood, the apartment if you get to tour it. In our case we did not get to see our apartment until the day we moved in. We were told we were moving into a great neighborhood only to find out the crime within these gates with security roaming around is quit bad. I want to move as soon as I can my children don't feel safe, I work late and I don't feel safe. The worst part is it's a gated community.
Besides the complex not really being on time about fixing things that we call about. And not giveing is a gate code unless we have a 407 area code. This is still an upgrade from my last apartment. its close to my job. 10mins away from universal and about 20 from disney. I love that the apartment are not cookie cutter there actully quite nice. Large open floor plans. And tons of storage space
I have been living in indigo west apartments for 5 years now and have never had any major problems. When you need something fixed, they are usually pretty fast at getting to you. It's a very quiet community. And I love the fact that it is gated. The maintenance men keeps the property very well cleaned around the community. I enjoyed my living here.
Love this apartment complex, it is very clean with many modern amenities. Has a great interior lake with it's very own walk path to include friendly ducks and a lot of turtles. Everything is within walking distance, such as supermarkets, shopping centers and many other great places to shop and eat.
After visiting this community, I impressed that there was a security gate. The grounds look very clean as well as the apartments. The staff seems very helpful and nice. I look forward to making this community my future home.
The office staff is extremely rude, especially if you are a current resident. The always act like they could care less about what you need. Their attention is focused solely on getting the empty apartments filled. WARNING: Extremely rude staff!!!
Air conditions inside the premises are like from eighties and they are so loud. And about the outside units, they are all located right in front of your bedroom window. So it means even if your ac is not working, you listen to neighbors ac up all night, and believe me there are six ac units in front of my bedroom window, each one of them is noisy so noisy. just imagine the noise when couple of them are working. I have made lots of complaints about this problem, and seems like office staff cares only about rushing the late fees on the fourth morning. Not to mention they fine an arbitrary one hundred dollars, even if you have ten percent on your lease.
