Directly across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C., Arlington is less a suburb than an extension of the nation’s capital. It’s the home of the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, with a number of waterfront parks offering beautiful views across the river to the National Mall.
The community provides a wide range of living options, from apartments, townhomes, and duplexes to condos and houses. A major reason for Arlington’s popularity is that there is so much to do. Washington may be packed with monuments, museums, and other sightseeing landmarks, but Arlington holds the advantage when it comes to the more day-to-day shopping, dining, entertainment, and nightlife.
You’ll have several options for getting around town or into D.C., whether you choose to drive, take the Metro, or ride your bike — Arlington has earned a silver rating from the League of American Bicyclists.

Property Ratings at Infinity
If I could rate this place less than one, that would be great. I did not have a good experience living here. Even felt crushed when had to sign my lease again. When my roommate and I first moved here, they put us in a roach-infected unit. They lied and said everything was ready for our apartment, but when we arrived it was certainly not ready. Everything seemed OK but four or five months into moving in, we had a rodent (mice) issue. I was very confused because my roommate and I clean our apartment every week, so we knew it wasn’t our fault. We would put a maintenance request that would stay unfinished for 3–4 weeks., the leasing office. It wasn’t until I called the corporate office about the issue with maintenance, not fixing things that I put in many requests for. The leasing office person, Dean wasnt adding me onto the list . So, my roommate had to call the apartments pest office to help us. Later on he found out my roommate has been calling the pest team due to him constantly not adding her to the least for the unit to get treated. He called my roommate and yelling at her and threatening her and warning her they’ll be consequences if she calls pests office. Maybe we wouldn’t call the pest office if he would do his job in bringing the pest tech in into the unit to be treated. The apartment air was not clean at all. We cleaned our unit every week and there was consistent mold. I had packages over $100 stolen. Plus we have a trash service and when we used the trash service and left my trash can outside my door to have my trash taken, it was stolen. It’s very sad how I’m using the apartment’s trash service and my property is being stolen. We saw dead rodent in kitchen and in between our drinks. It’s sad because had to throw away our drinks . Now our safety and health was in jeopardy. My roommate had to call her own pest services and had to spend more money on them. We couldn’t eat , sleep, or even use bathroom without being scared of seeing something. My Roomate and I worked from home too and that was so hard to do. We pay our rent on time and in full and couldn’t even be met halfway with assistance from the leasing office for the problems we faced. Customer service was terrible as well. Yes, low pricing can seem great, especially if you want to save but highly recommend to think otherwise. This will save you stress. This place should be called Insidious apartments instead of infinity.

Thank you for your detailed feedback and alerting us, again, to your concerns about pest control. What you describe involving the preparedness of your apartment for move-in as well as your maintenance concerns certainly isn't up to our high standards. It is important to us, too, that we meet your expectations for customer service, and we urge you to feel free to contact us again at customerservice@donaldsonmgt.com.
Do not live here. I dont even know why the office has a phone number. In my 2 (horribly painful) years of living here, they have never once answered the phone. NOT ONCE. The stairwells are always left disgusting and smelly by suspicious and gross people who often dont even live here. There was a brothel being run out of one of the units. They forced a trash valet with a fee on us mid-lease... and the they NEVER pick up the trash when they are supposed to!!! Yet we get threatening emails about following the rules for trash pick up. Packages are always stolen. There might be more mice than humans living here. Good luck if you need anything repaired..
No ac in mid summer, no warm water in winter. Days without water, BED BUGS RATS AND cockroaches. The elevator never works and when it does you get trapped in it. Stairs will resolve that but you will witness ALL TYPES OF ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. Packages stollen all the time.
DO NOT BE FOOLED BY LOW RENT AND SPACIOUSNESS. THE MICE ARE IN CONTROL HERE. They are nonstop, even in a clean apartment. They eat through the mesh/putty from the heating units and scurry along the walls to your kitchen, hiding underneath the dishwasher, the refrigerator, and the stove. The traps the building supplies are USELESS - the mice bypass them without any issue. THERE ARE LEAKS AND ROACHES in the lower floors, as you head to your car.The stairwells and hallways are in poor condition - straight from a horror movie. You will often find kids smoking in the hallways The WATER AND SEWER bills are outrageous. You pay an average, not just what you use in your unit. Despite that, the water is shut off almost weekly. Parking is ridiculous - they force you to submit an application each year for a new permit just to park in the parking lot. The staff are ok sometimes. Sometimes they are aggressive and unprofessional or petty. If you just need something short term, maybe it is worth it. I personally wish I had been more patient in my search and chose elsewhere. Be warned!!!
I would like to highlight some positive aspects of moving to this place such as its affordability and spaciousness. However, I must share my honest opinion and rate this place only 1.5 stars due to several issues. I believe this rating could be improved if the following issues were resolved: Sporadic water outages, sometimes lasting for 2 days, with no advance notice and resulting in brown water. Presence of roaches and rats that are the size of cats, along with rodents stuck in glue traps in the stairwell for several days. Standing water on the bottom floor at times. Trash shoot access has been taken away, requiring tenants to walk all the way to the dumpster. Kids smoking in stairwells before school, creating unpleasant odors and health hazards. False information provided about the availability of air conditioning. Currently, my apartment is 87 degrees and the management claims that nothing can be done until May 15th. This issue with the lack of A/C has been the final straw leading me to write this review, so potential renters should be aware. They raised rent with 0 noticeable improvements over the year that I've lived here. If the above-mentioned issues were addressed, I would be inclined to increase my rating by 0.5 stars for each problem solved.
It is a horrible place to live I can't wait to move in this place there are everything cockroaches, mice, bad smells throughout the building, people who steal the packages that come from the mail, the laundry never works because if it is ruined you have to beg for them to fix it also the elevators almost never work so if you live on the top floors you will have to go up stairs always terrible administration.

I’ve been living for 5 months in the Infinity Apartments and CANT WAIT TO LEAVE!!!!HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE experience so far! The day that I moved, I found out that the dryer was not working and have to wait almost two weeks to get it fixed. I also had to almost beg for them to paint the walls on my apartment, since they were dirty even before I moved in. Then, they gave me a wrong key for my mail box, and I had to request it two times. (More than two weeks waiting for it) There are just two elevators, and they never work. (Now one is working after being out of service FOR MORE THAN TWO MONTHS! And of course the other one is not working). Two weeks after I moved there, I had to learn that is very “normal” to hear the fire alarm to go off at anytime for not reason at all. People literally stay in their apartments watching tv while this happens, since is so often now (let’s talk about a real emergency situation!!) Since I was not a fan to wake up at midnight, and have to leave my apartment for not reason, but the alarm, (Even one of firefighters suggested me to fill a formal complaint for negligence against the building to the county)I tried to contact one of the people from the management department who took literally ONE MONTH to contact me back. (This shows how much they care and respect the residents!) Very dirty and disgusting walls by the exits, and always a terrible smell. I did not see any of those horrendous walls or that part of the building before I signed my lease, and of course I was not aware of the roaches that I could find by the elevators, kitchen, bathroom and closets or I WOULD NEVER HAVE MOVED TO INFINITY! Adding to that, please get ready to get your packages stolen from the mail room. Ohh! But they have a camera that of course won’t do any job. Btw, they will send you a monthly “reminder” of paying your rent on time, like you could forget about the nightmare that you’re facing living here!!! Ohhh and good luck with them answering the phone! It’s easy to win the lotto that for them to take your call! Btw, in my 5 months leaving in that horrible place, I’ve seen at least 5 people working in the office, so that says a lot!
Mice, roaches, stolen packages, pot hole ridden parking lot, shared water bill across entire building - doesn't matter how much water you use, pay for the building's electricity in addition to your unit's bill, fire alarm or power outage at least once a month, old outlets that don't hold onto anything plugged in, washer filled with dirty water on move in, reeks of old tobacco, etc
ROACHES: Had roaches the entire time. Occasionally I'd see a huge American Roach, but it was mostly the little German ones, which are difficult to exterminate under normal circumstances and impossible at here. You can get weekly pest control appointments, but they do not matter. The building is infested. During one appointment, Pest Control told me that there were many tenants in the building who just wouldn't call for exterminators to be brought in, regardless of how bad the infestation was. For you, the reasonable tenant, this means that there's always a safe haven elsewhere for the roaches to remain until they return your unit. MICE: Pest control found that I had enormous gaps underneath my doors to the hallway, which he described as a "mouse-y highway." It took months for new door sweeps to be installed, and that was AFTER I had a mouse actively living inside my stove. After a night where he ran literal circles around my bedroom, I blocked off the kitchen by lining the doorway with sticky traps. He eventually visited my next-door neighbor by passing through a shared hole in our walls and was killed by the neighbor’s dog. Good dog. AC/HEATING: The entire building has AC or heating, no individual thermostats (see: Arlington Heating Ordinance). Winter is fine, warm seasons are not. There were days where temps were 85+ degrees, but no AC and the heat was still cranked. You can get fans, but in Spring that just blows pollen inside to coat everything you own. If the power goes out overnight, the chiller will need to be manually restarted by facilities. Til then, the air coming through your convector units will just get warmer and warmer. OTHER: Many packages stolen; management did literally nothing. There are cameras throughout the building that do not work. There’s a back door to the building that is rarely locked. Dishwasher backed up with neighbor’s filthy water 2x. Had to stop bathing for 2 days because the water was leaking into the below neighbor’s bathroom (sorry, neighbor). Charged for amenities though everything was closed due to COVID. Unit not cleaned prior to move-in; mouse poop throughout bedroom and closets. Elevators often busted; one caught fire prompting an evacuation. No vent in bathroom. Poorly done paint job on walls. Closet doors did not shut properly. Over the summer, the hall outside of the mailroom had a leak through the ceiling and reeked of mold and mildew for months. Car alarms in the lot will keep you up at night.

The buildings are infested with mice and no matter what you do, how many holes you fill in and cover, YOU CAN'T GET RID OF THEM. You'll hear them running around, and see them all over your stuff. Run as far away as you can from Infinity Apartments. It's been months we've been having mice issues, we've caught 20 mice in total. The maintenance comes to close holes, but the mice still find a way. The management does nothing major to help get rid of them. All they keep doing is that they send the exterminator who comes, moves things around, puts more traps all over and then that's it. This is an issue that is beyond maintenance and exterminators. So sick and tired of having to throw stuff away that the mice bit through and sleepless nights as the noise from them running around will make it impossible to get any sleep.

There must be something good to start giving rating, had very worst experience. You will see all roaches and mouse in the apartment. The roaches will be in Fridge as well. Don't want to share the Pictures and scare. Be safe and healthy not to choose this apartment.

I must say that communication between myself and Christle has improved greatly. She has been a big help in keeping us informed on things going and and is very responsive to emails. After speaking with a woman from the corporate office named Carmela, I still feel that this complex does not care about its residents. She was very condescending and blatantly disrespectful in my mind. I realized Chirstle is doing the best she can with what she has especially considering who she works for. I see other post where people are slamming those who have been vocal about their experiences. Keep in mind, individuals have different expectations and standards, so what is grear for one person may not be so great to the next. Most of my orginal reviews remains the same. I am not sure about everyone else but my lease states I have to give a 60 day notice when moving, considering other places only require a 30 day notice puts me in a hard spot and almost guarantees I'll have to break my lease, for a single parent thats not always easy (especially being from another state and trying to learn the area) and we end up having to stay. I wanted to emphasize that because Carmela asked during our conversation "if you had so many issues why did you resign your lease".
Property Manager at Infinity, Responded To This Review
Dear Resident, We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear that communication has improved with the leasing office staff. However, we regret to hear that your living experience has not been to your satisfaction after the on-site team's effortless attempts to respond quickly and promptly in resolving your concerns. Regarding lease termination, it is our experience that industry standard is in fact 60-day notice for termination; and this stipulation in our lease agreement is the same across most properties in the area. Thank you again for your input. We value our residents feedback. Sincerely, Infinity Management Team
I'm not quite sure about the bad reviews I've read on here and I don't want to take away from their frustrations but my experience has been totally different. I moved in 5 years ago when Christle first managed these two buildings. She was amazing but left to manage another one full time. The three that followed were pretty horrible. She came back two years ago and put the building back right. Of course she's still working to correct the problems that the other ones let go but it's not something that can be fixed overnight. I can't speak for others experiences but you know how it usually goes, people are quick to put bad reviews and you never hear from the ones who have had no problems. Our living room ceiling caved in one year and it was repaired in 2 days. None of our stuff was damaged. They got all the dust out and shampooed the carpets for us. She also put me and my brother up at a hotel while the work was going on. You get one parking spot per apt for free. If you want more, you can buy a reserved spot covered or uncovered. I have found in all my dealings with Christle and her staff to be professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. She gives that personal touch and responds within the hour to emails usually. I've always lived in places where the decision to cut on the AC was a corporate one. They decide when to cut it on, NOT the building management team. If you want to spend more to cut on your heat when you want to then move somewhere else. No one is stopping you. Otherwise, you really should stop giving people who don't actually control it such a hard time. These are also questions that you should ask when you move in. The rent if fair, the facilities are clean. Not too many apartment buildings for this price will include a washer/dryer in the unit. That's just one of the things that keeps me here. They have a nice gym and awesome pool! Oh..and my rent actually went DOWN this year about $100. If you stay 5 years they reward you. Great place to live and the discount. It was a no brainer when we resigned our lease.

If you are the kind of person who appreciates communication, professionalism and being treated like a human being, Infinity apartments are not for you. In a year of being here there were more than 11 different property managers and leasing agents, after 11 I lost count. My apartment itself is nice but the complex is not so great, and neither is the quality of service from the office team or owners. The building always smells bad. I've seen roaches throughout the halls. Pretty often there is trash throughout the stairwells and elevators. Elevators always have issues, at one point they were down for over a month. The AC and heat are controlled by the office. There have been plenty of times where the water was cut off without sufficient notice. Christle is the most recent property manager and by far the worst since being here. I had some issues with her and had to reach out to the corporate office of the complex and not one time did they respond to an email, return a phone call or accept a call. What they did do was forward the complaint back to Christle and the cycle continued. To give a glimpse into how communication is with her (when she actually does respond) I will attach shots of my recent exchange. Just incase you are curious, the Corporate office of this complex is capital investment advisors LLC. *post would not allow attachments*
I have been staying here past 8 months and it is full of mice. The elevators go out of order every now and then. The management does not even answer to you properly. I have been raising request after request every month and the management does not even care to address the issue properly, they just come and leave some glue traps. Now its even worse, if i raise a request they just close the request saying work completed without even looking into the issue. Such worst apartment and management this is. I wish i could give -5(negative) stars, it is that worst. The utilities bill keeps increasing month on month for no reason.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. We regret to hear that your living experience has not exceeded your expectations. Management is aware and have been taking measures to address and resolve on-going building issues. Please feel welcome to contact either the management office or the corporate office if you feel there are specific issues with your apartment that are being left unresolved. We value our residents, and strive to create a community where you would enjoy calling Infinity Apartments your home.
The apartment itself is nice. I just want to share that I've lived in my unit for less than a month and have seen mice already. The most the office will do is have someone come by and lay open-ended glue traps in your kitchen. Other residents on my floor have told me they have mice as well. I went to Home Depot and purchased more sanitary and less gross traps myself. If I had known this place had mice I would have never moved there. Biggest mistake if my life!
It's absolutely central and convenient to 4 metro lines.
I've lived here for over 5 years and this is the most convenient place, with all the transportation access to both orange/silver and blue/yellow lines.
It's a great location and price for arlington. But there has been two management changes within a year. The hot water has out a few mornings in the colder months. There's a pest control issue, which was resolved.
Infinity Apartments are older secure buildings featuring spacious pet-friendly units with walls heavy enough to dampen noise between apartments. Each unit has washer/dryer, microwave, and a parking space. The location is convenient and a shuttle bus is provided from the apartments to the Ballston Metro on weekdays. The manager and staff are helpful and responsive. Utility costs are reasonable. Cons are that the heating and cooling are a little problematic as it is an old central chiller/boiler system. Management has to flip the system from heat to cold or vice versa at the beginning of the appropriate season and the equipment can be tempremental. The kitchen and bath of my one-bedroom are small compared to the size of the unit, mitigated somewhat by having a kitchen pantry closet. Overall a good value especially for those of us with medium or large dogs.
I'd prefer to live in the dump I shared with 3 other girls in college. Unfortunately, that place was bulldozed years ago and the entire leasing staff was arrested for embezzlement... Here at infinity, the leasing agent is nice. The apartment is spacious with big windows. And we have a microwave. We also have a nice pool and a reasonable fitness center that quite often has TWO functioning treadmills! Don't expect to watch the tv though, that's been broken for two years. The air/conditioning goes out overnight on a pretty regular basis. Cross your fingers that your appliances continue working throughout your lease, they will never get around to fixing anything. Don't cry, that doesn't help. Maintenance staff is charming and motivated, but their hands are tied as far as budget is concerned. The office is closed on Sundays and for at least 3 days every holiday. There are roaches, mice, spiders, and a multitude of drunks. These drinkers gather outside the lobby and smoke cigarettes all night - which makes it miserable when you are forced to open your windows because the a/c is out again...
The Infinity Apartments are affordable and spacious, with decent appliances and fixtures though certainly nothing luxurious. There is a pool and fitness room, and a shuttle to the Metro; we use two out of the three of these amenities. Once we step inside our apartment, we like it, and have few issues/complaints other than being able to hear our neighbors talking when we are both in our bathrooms. However, as a woman I do not feel very safe walking from my car into my apartment. The area and the complex are seeing a turnaround in socioeconomic demographics, and the property has raised rent and set a minimum income requirement, so I think things will improve- but there have been a few times I have seen/heard fights outside in the parking lot, seen people begging for money on the property, and smelled marijuana in the building. It is an OK complex if you are on a budget but still want to live in Arlington and be close to 395, DC, and the nightlife and conveniences of Arlington. We plan to renew our lease once for a total of two years living there, before moving out and upgrading. I think I will be glad to leave, once we can afford to do so, unless the resident demographics shift quickly to a more professional and safe environment.
This is a great place to start your adventures in DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia). It's clean, spacious, and probably the only cheap place in the entire metro area. It's central to everything, but you're not close to any metros. Perfect for getting your bearings around the city for a few months then finding a place more suited to your personality.
