With its famous neighbors being Miami, Hialeah, and Miami Beach, Opa-Locka may not be the first place you consider for your Miami area apartment, but this small city provides everything you'd want in a South Florida location and then some: access to the beach, a tropical setting with plenty of palm trees and beautiful parks, and those warm ocean breezes. In my apartments there are some big behind rats and they come into my house so im trying to move my mom away from here because she is old.

Good place if you want to save money

I really wanted to write a helpful, honest review. These apartments were built awhile ago some are renovated , some are not. The area isn't the best but i have never had any trouble. It is close to the college which is a plus and there are plenty of supermarkets and places to dine within a 3 mile radius. The common areas are fairly maintained, and there is a laundry room a few buildings over. The management company is helpful and will make any repairs necessary.The apartments are spacious, and for the price its a good deal. In my opinion these apartments are best for solo renters or couples trying to save money to find a more permanent setup.
