Characterized by newer, single-family homes along gleaming streets and immaculate boulevards in striking contrast with a serrated horizon, the Southeast Reno neighborhood lies about eight miles southeast of Reno proper. Lots of nice houses for rent, well-rated schools, and easy access to Interstate 580 allow residents to live in a suburban oasis while retaining proximity to the Biggest Little City in the World.
Residents have fun and stay fit playing tennis, volleyball, soccer, and baseball at nearby Virginia Foothills Park, which also provides a fitness trail, children’s playgrounds, and horseshoe pits. Damonte Ranch Parkway, a main thoroughfare bisecting the area, hosts a wide array of stores. Restaurants abide here, such as the Twisted Fork, a popular eatery known for its sophisticated fare within a casual atmosphere.

Property Ratings at Integra Peaks
Shortly after moving in there was a big party at the pool with mostly teens that got out of hand. Someone ended up pulling a gun and firing off at least one round. That was months ago and the bullet hole is still in the wall above the leasing office as a reminder of the incident. Cops were called, no idea if anything was ever found out about it. I was out of town and my girlfriend was here alone. Not exactly the kind of phone call you want to receive in the middle of the night. The front gate is supposed to be locked at night requiring a code or key to access via vehicle. We have been here 16 months and I have had to open the gate maybe twice. It has closed and locked approximately 1% of the time. After the shooting they hired a security company. We saw them a few times in the following months with very little presence at night. We received a notice that they were hiring new security, but have no idea when the other one ended. Very little communication. We were wondering why the hot tub was being drained and filled. Apparently, there has been a bum bathing in it at night. Gross. Maybe if they had they security around that wouldn’t happen. Maybe fix the gate? I have seen lots of homeless wandering the parking lot at night and camping out on the sidewalk outside the complex. If you want to feel safe at home, this is not the place for you. Integra Peaks is supposed to be a non smoking facility. That is not the case. Our upstairs neighbor has been smoking on his balcony since we moved in. The smoke enters our apartment at night and we are forced to confront him personally since our written notices have gone mostly unanswered. The management has done little to nothing about the issue. They are ineffective at enforcing the rules and get very little done. The apartments seem nice from the outside but once you sign the lease be prepared to be ignored if you have a problem. There are plenty of apartments in the area at prices being equal or less. I suggest you think twice before renting here. We will not be renewing our lease. You can have our apartment if you want to smell cigarette smoke while sitting on the balcony.
Leasing staff is very helpful and nice, maintenance team fixes problems quick and is respectful.
The construction was not thought out. No shelves in the shower. Will need a wagon to transport groceries up the elevater. The street noise is unbearable if you want to enjoy the deck. Cannot open windows because of noise. No air flowing through. The hallways sound hollow so you hear everything. The pool is built between 3 buildings, all 4 stories. No privacy. They sell it as resort living but with resorts, you party and go home. The parties here are crazy because they are renting to the younger crowds. Even had a shooting, gang brawl and vandalism. Just not worth it.
There have been many problems since we moved in. Some have been resolved, some haven’t. The construction of this place is very poor, not thought out at all. The design is very weird and seems to lack much space to get around. Our building has an infestation of bugs inside and outside (ants/spiders/mosquitoes). The air conditioner has to have a fan on all the time, we are never able to turn it off. We were not told about this before move in. There are dirt fingerprints all over our white countertops that don’t come off no matter how much you try. It always looks dirty. The noise here is not pleasant, road noise/neighbors, not well constructed at all. The management seems inexperienced and we are disappointed we moved here and do not enjoy living here at all.
