From the sandy Hoffman Beach on Lake Parsippany to the beautiful homes in tree-filled neighborhoods, Parsippany exemplifies New Jersey's "Garden State" slogan. The town is award-winning, often topping "best" lists for places to live, and it has been a "Tree City USA" for more than 40 years. The town's history dates back to the first Dutch colony established in 1611, and several historic locations provide a glimpse into the town's history. One of those locations, the Benjamin Howell Homestead, was built in 1763. Another, the Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms, was designed and built by Gustav Stickley -- the only home he built for himself. The museum offers guided tours of the 1911 homestead, which provides a unique glimpse at the arts and crafts movement.
Parsippany wraps around two large lakes, Lake Parsippany and Boonton Reservoir. It is home to several parks and golf courses, adding to the natural beauty of the town.

Property Ratings at Intervale Gardens
No complaints here. I stayed for less than a year, and it was great. The location is close to everything, and the property managers are very responsive which is one of my top considerations for rental places.
Pros: -Well maintained property -Jose (property manager) is very quick to resolve any issues. -Great location with CVS, Wholefoods and shopping mall nearby. -Very safe location too Cons: -The walls are pretty thin, I could hear every step of my neighbor upstairs.
The apartment is highly recommended. Very convenient for getting Lakeland bus to New York. Maintenance is quick and good. The complex is quite open. Whole foods is just across the street.
Spent two years in an apartment here. Never had any issues whatsoever.
I called the Superintendent on a Friday afternoon before a holiday weekend. He got back to me first thing Monday morning. I quickly scheduled a visit to the apartments and was happy with the rent amount and impressed by the good condition of apartments when handed over to new tenants. By the end of the week I was signing the lease. It was a very smooth and stress free process. The apartment is just what I needed, close to everything, affordable washer and dryers, pool, plenty of parking, 2 air conditioning units, hardwood floors etc. I only wish I had a dishwasher. Other than that I am very content!
Lived at this beautiful community for almost 2 years and so happy I choose to live here. The outside of the property is taken care of, not only during the spring and summer months but in the winter time as well. Jose and his staff are the best at what they do. They make sure that the property is clear of snow, working well into the night so that we can all get to work in the morning. When ever I have asked for something to be repair, it is taken care of the day of the request or within 24 hours. They are the best!!! You want to live here!!
My family and Moved to Intervale Gardens over 4yrs ago and we couldn’t be more lucky. Everyone here is so friendly from the neighbors to the management team. (JOSE is great. Always responds quickly and is very attentive).
my husband and I have lived here for 3 years, while everyone is quite; the location is convenient and the rent is the cheapest I have seen in this area, it’s too small. we have a 1 bedroom and the kitchen is so small, we can’t fit much in there. Plus, they control the heat- which is very annoying in the spring and fall months. it auto goes on below 50 degrees. at first, it was fine- now we are on top of each other.
my boyfriend and I moved here in March, and we have very little things to complain about. The location is perfect for us, it is surrounded by several high ways. It is a very friendly environment, the people that live here and the staff is friendly. The laundry room is updated, which is a plus. We found out after signing the lease that they control the heat in the winter months, which bothers us because we don't know if it will be too hot or too cold, we would rather but a little colder then hot. Either way, we enjoy living here, the rent is cheapest we have come across as are happy.
My boyfriend and I have been living at Intervale Gardens for almost 2 years now. This is our first apartment and honestly, we couldn't have been more lucky finding this place. All of our neighbors are friendly, there is no excessive noise during the day and it's so quiet and tranquil at night, and we never have a problem finding parking. The superintendent is always there when we need him (our refrigerator was leaking when we first moved in, and the day after we let him know, we came home from work to a brand new refrigerator already installed. We were so impressed!) Also, when it snows, the staff quickly clears the roads and walkways. It's a safe community (during the summer I like to go running around the complex at night) and so close to everything we need like grocery stores and restaurants. We live on the second floor and have not had any problems with any bugs at all. The stove/oven and bathroom fixtures could use updating, but everything is functional and serves its purpose. Also, I personally think it would be nice if we were allowed to have portable dishwashers because doing dishes by hand is no fun, but that's a minor setback. Overall, you will not find a better place to live in the area at this price. Also, cats are allowed (we have two!) Honestly, we would recommend these apartments to anyone who is looking for an affordable and nice place to call home!
Apartment is great. Has everything I could want in an apartment aside from a washer dryer in the apartment but I'm not to upset over that. Staff here is awesome and the people in the apartments are great. The only issue I have with this apartment complex is the parking. There are no lines painted in the parking lot so you can only imagine the issues that come up. With there being no lines there are barely enough parking spaces for the current tenants then you add the fact that some people don't know how to park and it just ruins it for everyone. I have had to park 3-4 buildings away from my apartment simply because 4 people took up 8 parking spots...If they would paint the lines this issue with be gone altogether... The parking issue is big for me but you can be the judge. Drive around in our parking lots after midnight during the week and you will see the issue.
I love it the apt. Is exactly that I need, I hope can get apt with two bed, I love the comunity
moved in about a year ago and the superintendent actually did my rental he was surprisingly great! everything he promised me, happened. whenever I need a repair done. it is completed immediately. overall I love it here and plan on staying here for quite some time excellent grounds! bravo!!!
I just got approved for a place there it was pretty simple and after going getting denied other places this one seem to be one that worked with you
